You just sat there, taken aback and astonished. You couldn't believe you had been lied to all these years.

 "But dad! How could you just never think to tell me this? " you cried. 

"I'm really sorry, I just didn't know how to tell you" he responded. All these years and you had no idea you were actually part robot. You had no idea that That was how you could never really seem to make friends and why animals were the only ones who liked you.

 You snatched your coat and hurriedly threw it on yourself as you reached for the door.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked.

" anywhere out of this place! " the tears rolled down your cheeks as you stormed off. After a good twenty minutes walk far away from home, you tripped over a tree root, fell over and badly hurt your arm. You tried your hardest to hold in the tears.

you walked a lot slower after the accident and that was when you realised you had no money or anything. You didn't want to go back, but you didn't know what to do.

You found a small cafe and took whatever change you had in your pocket and decided to buy something for yourself before you starved to death.

after you ordered, you noticed there was no seats in the place that wasn't occupied except for one that was beside a little black duck. You had hoped to sit somewhere quiet, but you had  no choice now.

As you sat beside him, he gave you a look that very much suggested that he clearly didn't want you there. You felt uncomfortable.

"Hey! All these spare seats and you have to sit beside me!" He retorted.

" I'm sorry, but there is no other seats" you explained.

"A likely story" he huffed and folded his arms.

"Take a look around"

He looked round and saw that you were right. "Huh. Hey, what's wrong with your arm?" He asked.

" Oh, I hurt it. I think it's badly injured"

He came off as a total jerk, but now you saw compassion in his eyes. "Aww, how'd you get that?" He asked.

You explained to him everything that had happened. The truth about you, the fights and how you had ran away. He listened with great interest.

"Part robot?!?" 

" Yes, and please don't say it out loud"

"Oh, sorry"

You continued to talk and get to know each other better. His name was Daffy and he told you he had some problems fitting in as well.

After dinner, he invited you home where he attempted to bandage up your broken arm. Everything felt so much better when you talked to him and you finally felt like you had found your place in this world.
