"I'm surprised you took this case. It seems a bit.. too easy for you?" Bokuto raised an eyebrow as he sipped on his coffee.

"Yeah, but Roy asked for a favor, so how can I say no. He's a precious friend, after all" Akaashi sighed loudly as he flipped through many pages.

"Wait, so, who's this Roy guy you've been talking about?" Bokuto raised an eyebrow, trying to keep his jealousy and suspicion hidden. It honestly annoyed him a bit whenever Akaashi talked about this Roy guy.

"You work in a police station and have no clue?" Akaashi almost choked on his own saliva.

"No? Am I supposed to know?" Bokuto was confused by Akaashi's question, it's not like he HAS to know everyone who works in that building.

"Roy is the colonel, the commander. The man who's above everyone else. When I started working as the state attorney, he was the first person to introduce me to my first case. That's how we became friends. To this day, we rely on each other. He helps me and I help him." Akaashi spoke of Roy fondly and that he wasn't lying at all. As a matter of fact, he still admired Roy.

Sure, he was a cold-blooded killer, but Roy was someone he admired. He was probably the only person who could find out that it's actually Akaashi that's killing all these people.

"Oh. I see. I guess I should really get to know who works in the building. Speaking of, I need to get to work soon" Bokuto sighed. He was happy that he could finally provide a bit more and give back to Akaashi after all this time, but at the same time work was mentally challenging as his co-workers weren't exactly fond of him.

"Be careful, okay? I'll probably be sleeping once you come back, so try to be quiet" Akaashi smiled at Bokuto who blushed at this seemingly simple gesture.

"I will! Rest well!" Bokuto exclaimed before jumping up and running to get his work clothes. Meanwhile Akaashi leaned back in his chair and sighed. He really didn't feel like going out tonight, all he wanted to do was just rest, maybe watch a movie. He closed his eyes just for a moment, but was interrupted by his phone.

"Hello?" Akaashi answered without even looking at the callers' ID.

"Oh, Akaashi-san, it's Hinata." A cheerful voice spoke on another line.

"What's up, Hinata? Rare of you to call me this late" Akaashi listened to the weird noises, waiting for Hinata to speak.

"Oh, I was wondering if you could come down to the station. Roy seems quite agitated and we cannot do anything. Maybe you could help" Akaashi rubbed his forehead, guess he'll have to go anyway.

"Sure. Be there soon" he said before hanging up. Bokuto had just left, so catching up to his was quite pointless.

Akaashi didn't bother changing his clothes, he quickly put his shoes and coat on and simply headed out, he was too tired for anything. He didn't even feel like hurting anyone, all Akaashi wanted was to sleep for 72 hours.

The sky was awfully beautiful, Akaashi couldn't help but stop and admire it from time to time. He didn't even notice how he reached the police station, he was more surprised to know that Bokuto wasn't there yet.

"Oh, Akaashi-senpai!" Hinata ran up to him.

"Hinata, you and Kageyama are still doing work here, right?" Akaashi asked, considering Sugawara and Daichi had already left.

"Yes! Since it's a case that concerns both Japan and US, we're staying here!" Hinata said cheerfully as he followed Akaashi around.

"Hinata, you idiot! Where did you disappear?!" A voice echoed through the halls and Akaashi watched a very angry person sprint across the hall and tackle Hinata down.

"Kageyama! Akaashi-senpai is here! Calm down!" Hinata struggled to say as he tried pushing the male off of him. Kageyama quickly looked up, only to lock eyes with Akaashi, who was looking at them from above.

"Sorry, Akaashi-san, that was very unprofessional of me" Kageyama said as he fixed his uniform. No one could see it, but inside Kageyama was screaming for showing his "lame" side to a person he admires so much.

"So.. Roy is angry. I have a feeling I know why.." Akaashi said as they got closer to Roy's office.

He didn't even knock, he just went it, startling Roy who was quietly looking at X's files.

"Christ, Akaashi. Scared the bajeebers out of me!" Roy laughed as he practically launched the files out of the window.

"I heard that you're not feeling well" Akaashi spoke, slight concern in his voice.

"Yeah, me and Riza got into a stupid argument over a math problem. It was small at first but grew to a big argument and I feel angry" Roy explained briefly.

"Huh, you don't say..." Akaashi didn't seem stunned at all.

"Yeah, also, you know I've been working night-shifts. It's just... I feel pressured and so does Riza. We're both on the edge" Roy sighed loudly.

Akaashi clapped his hands, making everyone turn to him. "I see! So the math thing isn't the problem. The night-shifts are keeping you and Riza apart. You two just need to bone", Akaashi said as if it was the most normal thing ever.

"Excuse me?" Roy's eyes were wide at Akaashi's words.

"I said you two need to bone" Akaashi watched as Roy rose from his chair and started stomping around.

"How dare you Akaashi Keiji, I am yoUR SUPERIOR OFFICER!" Roy yelled in disbelief. Hinata and Kageyama stood behind Akaashi, trying to keep their laughter in.

"BONE??!!" Roy panicked as he slammed the files down on his desk. "What happens in my bedroom, dear, is non of your business!"

Akaashi just stared at him blankly. "Well, problem solved. Roy, introduce yourself to Bokuto later, okay?" He said and waved before disappearing somewhere into the hall, leaving Kageyama and Hinata to watch Roy and his mental breakdown.

A bit of fresh air really woke Akaashi up, he felt a bit better. As he was about to leave the building, Bokuto walked in. His eyes widened as he saw Akaashi in front him.

"How slow do you walk to work?" Akaashi laughed.

"I go to the store and get some coffee and pork buns. You know, the store in China Town? That sells authentic pork buns?" Bokuto smiled before taking one out of the bag and offering to Akaashi. The other politely declined, he smiled at Bokuto one more.

"I'll be going home now, be careful" Akaashi said and quickly darted out of the station in order to avoid Bokuto's rants about how careful he should be.

Once again fascinated by the night sky, Akaashi walked home slowly. Maybe going out wasn't such a bad idea after all. The streets were quiet, so quiet in fact that it was concerning.

"Wait... Keiji?" A voice shook Akaashi out of his thoughts. He turned around to see someone staring at him.

"Huh?" He raised an eyebrow. The figure walked closer and Akaashi was finally able to identify them. "Oh, Futakuchi"

"What did you do to Aone?" Futakuchi immediately asked, his tone was angry.

"Nothing much. How did you even find me?" Akaashi fearlessly stepped closer to the other.

"Aone said he was going to ask you a favor. What did you do to him, you monster?!" Futakuchi yelled. Before he could say another word Akaashi stepped forward covering his mouth and pushing him against a concrete wall.

"Shut up, you're gonna wake someone up" he growled before looking straight into Futakuchi's eyes. "Why do you care about him so much anyway?"

"Because he saved my life? Because he is the only person who actually liked me for who I was? It's non of your business. I wonder how you'll feel when I hurt Bokuto and make him suf---" Futakuchi was cut off by Akaashi punching him in the stomach.

"Are you threatening to hurt my Bokuto?" Akaashi whispered. Futakuchi, still pressed against the wall, smirked at Akaashi.

"Yes. You did something bad to Aone so I'll hurt Bokuto. I know where he works. Of course, any other person wouldn't tell you this, but you're weak Akaashi. I know. You aren't able to do anything serious to others" Futakuchi said, but his eyes filled with fear as he watched Akaashi laugh maniacally to the point where literal tears escaped his eyes.

"Oh, honey, you don't know anything about me...." Akaashi looked at Futakuchi again, his eyes as black as the night sky. His hand reached for his pocket slowly...
