the brunette girl looked down at her phone as she sat next to her sister on the couch that sat in the living room. they were watching " how the grinch stole christmas" on the television in front of them.

a movie that they have both seen at least a thousand times. if not more. at this point they could repeat back the lines to jim carey if need be.

but that would probably never happen.

" put your phone away" alyanna insisted to jamison. the younger marie sister nodded before throwing her phone gently to the side of her.

a lot of things have happened in the past month that she's been gone in.

she's gotten way more closer to her sister, learned how to play the piano, learned how to say the alphabet backwards ( a bet made by malachi gone incredibly well). jamison adventured out more in auditions, with family and with friends. but she's overall kept her circle close to her.

she didn't want anything to puncture it.

that's why she hasn't spoken to walker in a while. even though she knows she needs to.

she was able to come to the realization that she was okay with only being friends with him as along as that means he would stay in her life. she didn't want to push him away like last time.

but she didn't want to think about the past. she was scared to would start running back to it. a journey no one would want to take including her.

so instead she looked at the screen in front of her as the grinch and cindy lou who have finally met for the first time officially.

a friendship like no other.
