Background knowledge: You are in college. You and Jennie are friends, but fell out due to you moving away.

I was walking past my college when someone bumped into me. She looked so familiar, like we've met before. Then I realized who it was. It was Jennie Kim. Jennie and I were great friends in elementary school. We fell apart after I moved away due to my father. I always wanted to see her again, and now I have.

Jennie - "My bad. I couldn't see you, I'm not wearing my glasses right now." She said as she picked up her books. I helped her get all of her books up and asked her a question.

Y/N - "Do you remember me?" I asked her, hoping she'll remember.

Jennie - "Umm." She said as she looks at me making eye contact with me. Her eyes grew wide as I thought she had remembered me. "Y/N-N??" She said shocked.

Y/N - "Yes it's me, Jennie." I told her happy she remembered me.

Jennie - "Hey Y/N, how have you been? It's been so long since we've seen each other." She responded. It's been about a century since I've seen this girl. She still looks the same, and very beautiful.

Y/N - "I've been doing well, I've been searching for you for so long Jennie. You don't even know." I said getting emotional a little bit. Jennie noticed this and pulled me into a hug. I hugged her back and held her closer than I've ever held anyone. Her hug felt warm, and full of love. I never wanted to let go, but eventually I had to. Classes were in an hour and I needed to go as I had a test to do.

Y/N - "Jennie I'm sorry but I have to go. I have a test scheduled and I can't miss it." I said feeling sorry for her as I had to leave. She looked up at me with puppy eyes, making me feel terrible I was about to leave her.

Jennie - "Well, since you have to leave why don't we have a coffee date? To you know, catch up." She offered as she smiled hoping I agreed.

Y/N - "Of course! I'll give you my number so you can text me when and where we would meet. Now I have to go, nice meeting you again Jennie." I said as I began to put my number and her phone and walk away. I turned back one more time to see Jennie watching me walk away, and then I began to walk towards my college.

TIME SKIP (After You Take the Test.)

After I finished the test, I was scrolling on my phone when a text from a random number popped up. I assumed it was Jennie so I decided to text the number.

text messages began

757-231-4021 - Hey Y/N, it's mee Jennie ❤️

You - Hey Jennie! I just got finished with my Test, I'm just bored.

You changed (757-231-4021) name to Jendukie 🤍

Jendukie🤍 - I'm at my Job right now, I'm on break.

You - You have a Job?? When??

Jendukie🤍 - I just got one here about a month ago, I needed one to pay off my debts. College is VERY expensive 🙏

You - I understand you, I'm working two jobs just to pay my rent.

Jendukie🤍 - I know how you feel, I had to beg my mom to give me one thousand dollars so I can pay off my debt.

You - Hehe, so about that coffee date?

Jendukie🤍 - It can happen tomorrow, I'm off.

You - Same, what time though? I was planning on going grocery shopping early in the morning.

Jendukie🤍 - Three PM?

You - Sure! I'll make sure to be there. What coffee place?

Jendukie🤍 - Janggogae? It's really close and one the best coffee places in Busan.

You - Okay, we will meet there at 3PM tomorrow. :) see you tomorrow Jendukie

Jendukie🤍 - :) see you soon y/n.

I smiled seeing the last messages. I'm so happy me and Jennie finally came back together after a whole decade. It feels great to have your best friend back. I can't wait to see her tomorrow.

TIME SKIP TO TOMORROW AFTER YOUR GROCERY TRIP

Today I will meet Jennie, I decided to wear something casual. A white tee, blue ripped jeans, and panda dunks. With my recently brought tote bag. I began to walk to the cafe since it is very close to my apartment. I went to the cafe and seen Jennie waiting outside for me.

Jennie - "Hey Y/N, how are you doing?" Jennie asked me smiling. I always loved her smile, it's so pretty just like her.

Y/N - "I'm doing great now that your here." I said as I used a cheesy pick up line. She laughed as we began to walk into the cafe.

We sat down and order coffee. We began to chat about life, and our memories. There was this one faint memory I had of Jennie, when she hit me with a snowball in the face and almost blinded me. That was not fun. We spent about two hours at the cafe just chatting, we didn't even realize until I checked the time.

Y/N - "Jennie it's been two hours." I said shocked we've been here that long.

Jennie - "Really? Sorry, I'm a chatterbox." She said chuckling.

Y/N - "That's okay, I enjoyed catching up with you though. Great to see you again." I said as I paid for our coffee's, and we began to leave when Jennie said something unexpected.

Jennie - "Y/N, I think your so beautiful. I'm glad your in my life." She said as she hugged me. I hugged her back and then I heard her whisper something in our hug I'll never forget..

Jennie - "Y/N, I love you."
