POV GARROTH

I woke up just like any other day, sad and lonely. I roll to the side of my bed and look at the time '6:23am'. I sigh and get out of my bed.

Garroth - "Another miserable day ahead." I say out-loud hoping someone will hear me. I stretch my joints and my back. God, I have the worse back-pain known to man-kind. I continue stretching but I stop once my phone buzzes. 'Who could be texting me at this hour?' I ask myself. I bend down and pick up the cellular device. I read the contact name, 'Aphie'. I smile once I seen what she sent me.

Aphie - "Hey garpook! I hope your having a wonderful morning. I'm currently getting dressed so we can walk to school together! Can't wait to see you!"

I text her back.

GarGar - "See you soon aph!".

I smile and rush into the bathroom. Seeing Aphmau in the morning time always makes my day. She's so kind and bubbly and her energy is infectious. You can't help but smile around her, that's why I like her. I daydream about what will happen while I brush my teeth. 'Maybe we will confess to each other! Or maybe she'll reject me for Aaron..' I spit out the toothpaste and gargle water. I wash my face and leave the restroom to find my clothing for today. I was getting when I heard Zane call my name.

Zane - "Garroth. Hurry up, I don't have time for your slowness today." He said sounding annoyed.

Garroth - "I'm going as fast as I can baby brother." I say cheerfully. This makes Zane upset.

Zane - "Don't call me that." He said as he walks away from my door. I giggle and put on my shoes. I open my door and rush downstairs.

Vylad - "Where are you going Garroth?" He asks me in confusion.

Garroth - "I'm meeting up with Aphmau!" I say while blushing a little.

Zane - "The girl he can't even look in the eye." He said sarcastically making me a little upset. I stare him down while muttering "Zane.."

Vylad - "Okay.." He says awkwardly. "I hope you have fun Garroth." He walks up to me and pats my back while smiling. I nod and thank him as I leave the house.

I walk down my doorsteps onto the sidewalk. I began to text Aph.

GarGar - "Where are you?"

Aphie - "I'm near Seventh Street."

GarGar - "About to turn the corner?"

Aphie - "Yep."

I look up to see a beautiful young lady, wearing a school uniform. Her hair is curled and flows effortlessly in the wind. Her smile is so bright it outdoes the sun. I zone out while looking at her.

Aphmau - "Hi Garroth!" She says waving at me. "Um.. are you okay?" She nudges me and I stop zoning out.

Garroth - "Um-m Hi beautiful, I meant Aphmau." I stutter making her laugh.

Aphmau - "It's okay, I am pretty beautiful." 'Yes you are.' I agree in my head. For some reason I had the sudden urge to hug her, so I did. I wrapped my arms around her waist pulling her into a surprise hug. She look surprised at first but soon hugged me back. It felt like ages just us embracing each other, but she soon let go making me a little sad.

Aphmau - "Thanks for the hug." She told me awkwardly smiling. I blush a bright shade of red and reply "Your welcome." We begin walking to school, passing by cars and pedestrians. Suddenly there was a big gust of wind, and Aphmau began to shiver.

Aphmau - "It's getting a little chilly out here. I wish I brung a jacket." She blurted out-loud.

Garroth - "You could use mine." I replied while hand her my jacket. She grabbed the jacket out of my hands, our fingers touching. I blush as I felt her finger touch mine. She opened the jacket and wrapped it around her quickly.

Aphmau - "Thank you GarGar! You're a lifesaver." She replies happily. 'Should I confess to her.' I think after handing her my jacket.

TIME SKIP - (At the School.)

Aphmau - "Whew, finally!!" She says sounding exhausted. 'This is the perfect time!' I think as I began to confess.

Garroth - "Aphmau, can I tell you something important." I ask her and she looks over concerned.

Aphmau - "Of course Garroth, you can tell me anything!" She said smiling. I sigh and say.

Garroth - "I like you Aphmau."

Aphmau looks surprised but walks up to me and grabs my hands. She looks into my eyes and replies.

Aphmau - "I like you too."

Garroth - "I guess we are meant to be then."

We stare at each other for a minute or two, processing what we just said to each other. I began to smile and so does she, but we get interrupted by the schools bell.

Garroth - "Really." I say being annoyed.

Aphmau - "Well, I guess we can continue after school.. See you later garpookie!" She waves as she runs into the school.

Garroth - "See you later my love." I say as I walk in after her.
