Tenya was very much a clueless dude, something that you figured out every early on in your friendship. You really liked the class rep, even going as far as to say you loved him. But, no matter what you did, he just simply brushed you off in confusion, thinking you were only being friendly. How blatantly flirting with him was 'being friendly', you didn't know. So, you did the only reasonable thing you could think of, try and move on. Tenya seemed to slowly watch you form a bond with Bakugou (somehow, you got over the blond's annoying behavior), and it upset him slightly. Having a crush on you was something he chalked up to 'getting in the way of hero business' and 'distracting him from class'. Though, that didn't make it easier to see Bakugou throw an arm around your shoulders playfully, and seeing your cute expression back rightfully made his heart shatter. Midoriya and Uraraka caught on, but the latter could only explain it in simple terms for him, feeling bad for you still.
