The younger Hayes sister had always felt in the shadow of her perfect older sister. Lori always wanted the picture perfect life and she got it.

Lucy Hayes never wanted to be a housewife like her older sister though. It was good enough for Lori, but not herself.

Lucy wanted more than a husband and a house with the picket fence, so more is what she did. Traveling all over the world and meeting interesting people, only popping into Georgia to say a quick hello to her sister or to spoil her beloved nephew for his birthday and Christmas.

Like most people Lucy wasn't prepared when the world stopped and she certainly wasn't prepared to be in Georgia when it happened either.

Lucy knows she's not meant for this world. She's far too pampered to live in it, but yet here she is still surviving day after day with her sister and nephew and the group of survives they've met along the way.
