โ ๐„๐Œ๐ˆ๐‹๐˜! โž The four girls call out for their missing best friend as they run through the halls of the school.

"Emily!"

"Em, are you up here?" Aria calls out.

"Emily?"

Spencer flicks the light switch on, but the light flicker so she turns them back off, "Um, why don't we split up?"

"Um, why don't we not?"

"Hanna, you can come with me." Aria pulls the blonde towards her.

"Why do we have to go alone?" Spencer gestures between her and Sadie.

"Fine! We'll split up together!" Aria presses her phone against her ear.

"Who are you calling?" Hannah asked her.

"I'm trying her until she picks up."

A cellphone rings on the other end of the hall and the girls follow it. Hannah picks the phone up from the ground.

"Emily?"

"Is that blood?" Sadie asked.

"Don't go there."

"Why not?" Aria asked, "She was up here with Toby."

ห—หห‹ ๐–ค หŽหŠห—

โ ๐ˆ๐“ ๐–๐€๐’ all in his shrink's file. โž Aria explained to Emily, who was now at home after the dance, "Toby and Jenna had a relationship."

"Way beyond step-siblings." Spencer stands with her arms crossed, a cup of coffee in one hand as Sadie stood next to her.

"Yeah, they . . . were involved."

"Romantically?" Emily questions.

"I doubt I'd call it romantic." Sadie mumbled as she picks at the nail polish on her nails.

"I doubt she had much of a choice." Spencer says.

"And that's what Alison saw when she threw the stick bomb." Aria said.

"And she threatened to expose Toby, which is probably why her dead." Said Spencer.

"And not just her . . . us. You."

"You don't believe us?" Spencer asked after seeing the look on Emily's face.

"I do, I . . . I just don't get it." She shakes her head, "If Toby killed Alison and wanted to do the same to me, then why am I sitting in my bed and not in a body bag? I told the police that when I went out for air, I tripped."

"Why didn't you just tell them he attacked you?" Aria asked.

"I didn't want to say anything until I talked to you guys first." Emily says with a shrug.

"Well, the truth is in the file."

"You can tell them everything now." Spencer tells Emily.

"She can't tell them everything." Aria denied.

Sadie sighed, "She's gonna have to keep quiet about the file."

"Fine. Leave the file."

"Who knew Rosewood had this many cops?" Hanna walked into the bedroom, pulling the file from under her shirt, "I went to put this back, and they were outside the doctor's office talking to Toby's shrink. They know this was stolen."

"Can I see that?" Emily asked.

Hanna hands it to her, "If anyone saw me go into that building last night, I am so housed."

"Is that from . . . ?" Spencer pushes her hair out of her face as Aria's phone starts ringing.

"No, my mom. 'Ask your father if he plans to take the car in this week'." Aria reads off the text, "My parents have gone from not talking to not texting. Ugh, this sucks. I better go home."

"Yeah, we should probably go, too." Spencer agreed.

"Same, I wanna see how Will's date went last night." Sadie smirked as she grabbed her bag from by the door, throwing the strap over her shoulder.

"Uh, no. I just got here." Hanna protested. "Hey, what do I do with that?"

"Just shove it in your locker tomorrow." Aria says, "We'll figure it out later. Bye."

"Feel better, Em."

"Text me if you need a doctor's opinion. Will's a room away."

ห—หห‹ ๐–ค หŽหŠห—

โ ๐‡๐Ž๐– ๐–๐€๐’ your date? โž Sadie smirked as she leans against kitchen counter where Will was cutting up carrots to make a roast since he took the day off.

"It was good." Will smiled, "It was great actually. And we're going on another one soon."

"So, when am I going to meet Cassie as your girlfriend?" Sadie's eyebrow shoots up as the teasing smile on her face stays.

"How about tonight? I can invite her over for dinner." Will shrugged, "If you're okay with that?"

Sadie shrugged, "Yeah, that sounds good. But, uh, best believe I'm going to call Jesse to do a background check. And if she doesn't meet my standards, I'm gonna let both of you know."

"I'm not doubting you either."

ห—หห‹ ๐–ค หŽหŠห—

โ ๐‘ฐ๐‘บ ๐‘บ๐‘ฏ๐‘ฌ at least, okay? โž Jason asked after Sadie had explained everything that had gone down at the homecoming dance, "She's back home?"

"Yeah. Her wrist was pretty banged up and she has a few stitches in her forehead, but other than that, she's fine."

"That's good to hear." He leans back against his headboard, "What else went down last night?"

Sadie smirks, "Will went on a date last night. With Cassie."

"Cassie? As in Melissa's old high school BFF?" Jason raised an eyebrow as he laughs.

"The very one. He's supposed to be inviting her over for dinner tonight."

The DiLaurentis boy nods, tilting his head to the side, "Jesse do a background check on her?"

Sadie scoffed, "I am not that kind of person."

"Sades."

"Okay! Fine! He did a background check on her!"

ห—หห‹ ๐–ค หŽหŠห—

โ ๐‡๐€๐๐๐€๐‡! โž

"Hanna, slow down."

"Will you just slow your ass down?!"

"Hanna, Spencer's right. You can't just burn the file out here." Aria says as the four get out of Hannah's car.

"Look, this is a terrible idea!"

"Just stay here." Aria tells the two girls before following after one of the blondes, "Hanna, Hanna! Hanna, wait.

"Why are we staying here?" Sadie asked before the two girls follow after them.

"Can we at least talk about this?" Aria asked.

"No! I don't want this in my house. I don't want it in my locker." Hanna tells them.

"I will mail it to the police." Spencer tells her.

"No, it's not gonna happen." Hannah denied, "I'm not having this traced back to me!"

"How are they going to trace it back to you?" Sadie threw her hands out, "Spencer is the one licking the envelope!"

"Guys! I'm the one who works in that building. I'm also the one who always gets caught."

"Hanna, Spencer's right." Aria is head of Spencer and Sadie, behind Hanna, "Burning the folder out here is a bad idea if the police could use it to build a case against Toby."

"He had a motive to kill Alison!" Spencer calls out.

"And they can also prove that I broke into his shrink's office." Hanna stopped, turning around to look at the girls, "Look, I really can't afford to take any more field trips to the precinct. I'm pretty sure after three strikes, you're assigned to the prison laundry room."

Sadie rolled her eyes, "That's not true."

"Hanna, what strikes?" Wondered Aria. "You were just trying to save your friend."

"Look, I have already gotten busted for stealing sunglasses and my boyfriend's car."

"Wait, you stole sunglasses? From who?"

"Not from a person, from a store. God, I have some class."

"Wait, are you talking about those. . . the Gucci ones with the gold. . .,"

"Focus!"

"Okay, Hanna, this is not about petty theft." Spencer yelled, "Toby could be the killer. We can't keep making these same mistakes over and over again."

"We?"

"Yes, we!" Sadie snatches the file for Hanna's hand, handing it over to Spencer. "We are all in this together. We are all being stalked by 'A', and if he's run off. . . ,"

"We don't know that he's 'A'."

"Please! Have you gotten one single text since last night?" Spencer asked. "Okay, the devil has a name, and it's Toby. Why are you being so pig-headed?!" She asked after Hanna had ripped the file from her hands.

"Why? Because I don't have a big, fat safety net to catch me. Not all of us have a daddy who can write a check to make the boogeyman go away." Hanna tells her before looking over at Sadie, "Or a brother who works in the police force and can get me out of trouble!"

"What are you talking about?" Spencer snatches the file back.

"Spencer, you get caught stealing an essay, and your parents let you take a picture for the newspaper! And you, every time the police even mutter your name, Jesse is right back in Rosewood, cleaning up your mess!" Hanna yelled, "I get caught stealing an accessory, and I have to lug around medical waste."

"Bunch of dumbasses!" Sadie exclaimed, snatching the file from Spencer's hand and tossing it into the river, papers going everywhere, "There! It's freaking done!

"We never saw it, and we don't even know it exists." Aria sighs as papers still floating in the air, hit the water, "Can we leave now, please?"

ห—หห‹ ๐–ค หŽหŠห—

โ ๐‘พ๐‘ฏ๐‘จ๐‘ป ๐‘ซ๐‘ฐ๐‘ซ you say to me?! โž

Sadie rounds the corner just as she sees Aria pulling her brother out of a fight with some kid.

"Hey! Mike! Mike! Stop!" Aria pushes at her brother's chest, "Stop!"

"Leave me alone." Mike shoves away from her, moving down the hall.

"Hey, what are you doing, man?" Sean stops him, "That's your sister."

"Let him go, Sean." Aria pushes him. "Mike!"

"Just go to hell!"

"Ah, no you don't." Sadie grabs Mike by his upper arm, pulling him to a stop. She looks back at Aria, "I got him."

"I don't need a--,"

"Apparently, you do. Do you like roast?"

Mike gives her a look of confusion, "Roast?"

"Yeah." Sadie nodded, "Wanna have dinner with Will and I? I'm sure we can add another extra plate to the table."

"Another extra plate?"

"Will's inviting his girlfriend over."

ห—หห‹ ๐–ค หŽหŠห—

โ ๐Œ๐ˆ๐Š๐„! ๐‡๐€๐๐๐˜ that you could join us! โž Will smiles at the boy who walked in with his little sister.

"Thanks for letting me come on such short notice." Mike gives him a half smile, "My uh, my dad thanks you to. Things are a little tense at home right now."

Will frowned before smiling, "It's no problem, kid. Come over anytime. I don't mind."

A throat is cleared from behind the group of three, causing them to turn around to find a very pretty dark-haired girl awkwardly standing in the kitchen. "Hi."

"Oh, shit. I totally . . . slipped my mind." Will walks over to the girl and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, "Guys, this is Cassie. Cass, this is my little sister, Sadie. And this is Mike, her best friend's little brother. He's gonna eat dinner with us."

Cassie smiles, shaking both teens' hands, "Hey, nice to meet you, guys."

"Well, let's sit down and eat!"
