"Wakie wakie"

An annoying sound was ringing on my phone.

" Oh shut up!"

The attempt to make it snooze was no use at all. It started ringing again.

"Wakie wakie"

The loud alarm had no mercy on me. I tried to wash away the sleepiness by streaching my arms and cracking my neck bones.

" Aish... Seriously when did I set it that loud?" I mumbled while glancing at the digital clock on my night stand.

I read the neon numbers displayed in the clock. Sharp on 8 a.m.Wow did I sleep that much? Knowing that I should start my day, I got down from my bed to do my morning routine. After getting ready I listed down the things I need to buy. With the small amount of money I had, I decided to buy only the most important things I wanted at the moment. I can buy the rest after earning some money from a part-time job, If I get one, of course. Pushing away those thoughts ,I listed the things I wanted to buy while biting the tip of my pen.

"That's enough for now"

I hit the road after I satisfied with it. When I was walking down the street I suddenly froze on position because of the confusion drew in my head. From where on the earth am I going to find a grocery store?

" Uh...I don't know where the supermarket is"

I put my palm on my forehead and tried to remember where it was ten years ago. After a second I realized that I was making a fool of myself. How can I remember something ten years ago when I practically got lost the other day because I forgot where I turned the last.

Maybe I should just ask someone.

A black car went passing me splashing water everywhere. Since it rained yesterday night a bit, the pit on the road was still filled with water. And of course all the bugs and insects were occupied there. My clothes were soaked with dirty water.

"Watch where you go asshole"

I shouted throwing my hands on the air. The car had already disappeared at that time. Some people just don't have their manners.

I rolled my eyes and walked fast , letting the clothes dry faster. There were shops on each sides of the road. While I was checking them from outside, I came across a bunch of girls. They were too busy to notice me since they were chatting and giggling at their own jokes. Clinging onto eachother, they were cackling like kindergartens for god knows what. I approached them and politely talked to them.

"Hey..um...Do you guys mind telling me where the supermarket is?"

I grinned sheepishly at them. My question made them stop talking for a minute and look at me. Suddenly the air filled with their whispering instead of giggling and all. Maybe I asked the wrong people. I mentally rolled my eyes , waiting for their answer.

" Umm.." I cleared my throat to get rid of the awkwardness that was surrounding us.

A girl with fallen brown hair to her shoulders was the first one to speak. Beatle black eyes and tinted light pink lips made her look like a Chinese ceramic doll like one. Those makeup were seriously overdone. She pulled a sweet smile on her thin lips.

" Sure oppa,I'll take you there" she giggled.

Woah, Wait a minute, wait a damn minute!What did she just call me?

OPPA?EWW....DAMN IT.. I'M A GIRL YOU HOE.

"No!" I immediately spat out without even thinking. With my words, she raised her eyebrows with surprise.

"No, I mean, no need to bother,just give me the directions. I can go by myself "I revised what I told cause it may have come bit harshly.

"Came on oppa"

Her small face formed into a pout. The freaking heck! Is she flirting with me right now? Ok, this is kinda disgusting. How can she flirt with a man who she met just a few seconds ago? Worse, I'm not even a real man. She was in a mere attempt to flirt with a woman.

Not wanting anymore stupid drama to create, I decided to put it to an end. I hurriedly fished out my phone and scroll it to pretend as I got a message.

" Ah, Girls I'm sorry. I need really to be somewhere right now. Guess I'll have to go shopping later " my face turned into an annoyance. Come on I'm good at acting.

"Aish, really oppa? " She looked disappointed. I nodded my head.

"Yeah, see you guys later. Oh, and by the way thank you for your offer" I waved at her quickly stepping away from the pack.

" Bye hope we'll meet again any time soon"

The girl said loudly along with a sweet giggle before she joined her friends after. For holy godmother's sake, meet again? Sorry but ,I wish the opposite girly,

"First that damn car ruined my clothes. And now a bunch of girls started flirting with me. Lord is testing my patience, I know that you are," I muttered while shooting glances at the sky.

"Whatever, I gotta get back home soon"

While walking I don't know where I was heading, suddenly a big board caught my attention. Finally!It was the supermarket. Without even knowing my legs have brought me to the right place afterall.

" Hey, Those girls did me a favour"

I walked along the racks ticking one by one in the list. Soon my cart was filling with canned foods and loaf of bread. With no idea about new brands on food labels, I just grabbed the familiar-looking stuff only. While I was shopping two strangers walked in my direction. Their conversation was loud enough to be overheard by me.

" Yah,Jung Hoseok.Can you pay attention please. We have to get back before they burn down the house"

A tall figure spoke to the other one who was looking through soft drinks.

" Jin no need to worry about them. Just give me a second"

I was too immersed in listening to their conversation, I didn't notice that I was about crash in to them. But it was too late when I realised it. The guy who grabbed the cans slammed right into me spilling all of his cans on the floor. My head hit his chin hard making me fall on the ground.

"Oh god! I'm so sorry. Crap what have I done!" Immediately realising what I have done, I quickly plead them. I looked at the cans which were rolling in every direction. What a mess.

"Damn it!"

He masseged his chin from his palm while disappointingly glancing at the drinks I ruined. I turned my head towards him to apologise, but I swallowed the words I was going spill as I saw the figure in front of me. God damn, Is that the one I bumped into? He was gorgeous. He looked so charming and lavish at the same time. Perfect height with his square face that was brilliantly featured with his sharp nose and beautiful lips was making him look like a Greek god. I was lost in my words.

"Are you alright? Here let me help you"

Seeing that I was still on the ground, his tall partner extended me his hand. As I took his hand I got a perfect view of him. I was mesmerised by seeing how handsome he was. He was like a carved statue that had come to life. Every single feature made him more and more handsome. Plumpy small lips, dreamy eyes were leading me to think whether these kind of men really exist in the world. His board shoulder muscles were fighting against his shirt. His looks were amusing.

"I- yes, Thank you. Crap, I'm so sorry for what happened" finally I was able to find some words.

I started collecting the cans as soon I got into my senses after seeing the heavenly looking two figures who just came across me.

"I'll pay for that,"

I ran my hand frustratingly through my hair. Even I said I would, I knew I had no money to pay for those expensive drinks I ruined.

" Yah, No need, It was my fault," the other guy refused my offer. He was still rubbing his chin. That must've hurt him a lot. I mentally slapped myself. Why am I always so careless?

"Are you new to the city? Haven't seen you here before" The tall guy asked me while taking the cans from my hand to his. I nodded as a reply. But, I was flustering from inside.

"Be careful next time"

He simply advised me before calling his other guy.

" Come on Hobi! We gotta go now. We are sorry for the trouble we caused. We'll take our leave now" He gently smiled and went to pay for their shopping. Other man slightly bowed at me and followed his partner from behind.

The tall one was Jin or something right? The other one was...Damn, why am I so bad at remembering things?

After strolling around for another half and hour I headed to the counter to bill my groceries. Most of my time was spent avoiding the ladies in the women's section. Somewhat I managed to snatch a couple of tampon packets without getting noticed by anyone. It was the most embarrassing thing I have ever done.

"It's for my sister"

I tried to smile at the lady on the counter who was giving me an evil eye as she saw the unnecessary item in my cart. My cheeks were heating up because of the uneasy atmosphere.

The apartment was quiet like it should be. I shoved the grocery bags into the table. Since I'm done settling my things in places, I wanted to check the old house I used to live in.

Is it still there?

Without stopping to take a break I again wore the jacket on top of me and stormed outside. Memorising the path I saw the river earlier, I kept walking with a doubtful mind.

To my relief, the sound of the water gushing filled my ears. I got into the river bank. As strong wind blew, hugging me, I started hearing the noises of the men running, my crying, the exhausted voice of my father. They kept swirling inside my head.

I stopped in the end that the woods start. This is the place where I heard my father's voice for the last time. My eyes were tearing up. The wind was howling savagely, making me evoke the past memories that thorned my mind.

I couldn't make my mind to walk to my old house. While wiping my tears away, a long sigh escaped from me. Again I was back lying on my bed.

" Dad, mom..Areum.I'm back"

A tear rolled down from the corner of my eyes along my cheeks.

"Who do you want me to find? Who is it?"

My eyes were blankly sticking at the ceiling. The only way to find the answers was by surviving in this dangerous city. Today was a day that made me realise that, by every inch I keep in this city ,I'll be risking my life. Eyes were watching you from every direction to snatch out your life. The people weren't showing their real personalities inside the borders.

The unrealistically handsome two men did give me a warning.

"Be careful next time"

I'll again update tomorrow guys 😁 it's enough for today right? Gosh really what a day! Jungkook came Vlive today. I was totally blown.
