BACKGROUND ❧
overall backstory - she was brought to the little palace when she was 12 years old, having the abilities of a heartrender. she trained and became quite skilled in her abilities until the general wanted more. so, secretly, three other heartrenders were asked to participate in an experiment. the benefit being they would be paid for it, which was obviously a good incentive. eris along with three other heartrenders were experimented on and given amplifiers, making the four of them extremely powerful. kirigan didn't know how powerful they'd be made, so, when he found out, he had them executed. eris ran, having found out, and ran to kerch. everyone in ravka believes that the amplified heartrenders were kidnapped and killed by fjerdans, and that they're all dead. so, she ends up in ketterdam and starts working as a bartender for the crow club.
