It's been a few months since Bucky was awoken, they've been working with him through his memories and the removal of Hydra's programming. It's been rough for Bucky, he hasn't been himself and his nightmares have gotten worse. He decided that Alessia should keep her distance while he faced this alone so she had been focusing on her powers, even going on some missions with Steve and Sam. She missed waking up next to Bucky but she knew it'd all be worth it.

It was an early Sunday morning when she woke up to someone holding her close to them. She turned her head to see Bucky asleep next to her with a small smile resting on his face. You know how some people say you look younger and more at peace when you are asleep, well that was accurate when it came to Bucky Barnes. He looked so relaxed that you'd think he had lived a peaceful life with not an ounce of pain on his heart.

Alessia snuggled closer to Bucky and let her body relax in his comfort when he stirred slightly, "Good morning beautiful." His raspy voice echoed through her head and she shivered in response making him smirk. Everything about this man was attractive, the broken parts especially. "Good morning Handsome," she leaned forward and kissed him softly before pulling away. His eyes opened, the steel-blue hues that she'd fallen in love with captivated her as he smiled.

He lifted himself up and leaned down to kiss her, "You and I are spending today together." He got up and walked towards the bathroom as Alessia sat up pulling one of her knees to her chest to rest her head on it. "Is that so Bucky?" She questioned playfully making him turn to her with a smirk on his face, "Yeah, I have plans for us today and last I checked... I owe you a dance." She smiled at him as he walked into the bathroom, "You coming?" She giggled before getting up and racing into the bathroom after him.

Bucky wasn't wrong, he cooked her breakfast and they spent time talking about random things and reminiscing on old times. At this time it felt completely normal like they weren't two damaged souls who found each other in a time of control and weaponizing. She always felt at home with Bucky next to her and she never wanted to lose that but that nagging voice in the back of her head reminds her that their time could come to an end.

They decided to go for a walk through the city together for a while to just continue that normal feeling that they both needed. She couldn't help but notice how nervous Bucky seemed to be and she couldn't understand why and a part of her began to worry about it. They had stopped at a few stores and bought a bunch of random things while playing around and doing random runway dress-up moments.

By lunch, they had decided on a small restaurant where they continued with small talk while they ate authentic Wakandian food which she fell more and more in love with the more she ate it. Once they finished eating, they continued walking through the city towards the outskirts. "All right. What is going on with you?" She asked with a smile making Bucky sigh, "You make me nervous, Ales. You always have and always will." He turned to her with a smile, "Good with words Barnes."

He laughed as he placed his hands on her hips, "Well, I'm quite the 40s ladies man." She shook her head before kissing him, "You're my man." He chuckled quietly, "That I am." He kissed her again before they continued walking and talking about random topics and she's never felt more alive than she did right now with James Buchanan Barnes next to her.

He grabbed her hand and led her to a small private hillside, as they walked over it, she spotted a small white tent. She turned to look at Bucky, his eyes locked on hers as he smiled before leading her down to it. "Shuri helped me out with this..." She laughed as he opened the tent, her eyes widened at the sight in front of her. There were fairy lights hanging on the roof, a small picnic and an open plastic window to show the sun setting.

Alessia smiled at Bucky before sitting down with him as he pulled out different foods and drinks. "This is amazing Bucky. I love it." He smiled proudly as they ate, talking about the possibilities of where their lives could go. She had completely forgotten about the future and its threats being right here in this moment with Bucky. It didn't take them long to finish their food and now she was leaning against Bucky as they looked out at the horizon.

She felt Bucky take a deep breath before turning on some music, he turned to her with his signature smile before standing to his feet. "Can I have this dance?" He spoke softly as he reached out his hand to her. She placed her hand in his and let him pull her to her feet, his hands rested on her waist as her arms wrapped around his shoulders as they swayed to the slow music. She smiled as she rested her head against his chest, she felt completely at peace at this moment.

Bucky pulled back slightly as he took a deep breath, "Alessia, you are the greatest thing in my life. You, uh - You are the light in the dark and the piece of me I know is constant. You've given me hope in this unfamiliar world." He swallowed before stepping back, "So, Alessia Elizabeth Hart-" He got down on one knee making Alessia gasp, her heartbeat quickened as he pulled out a small velvet box.

"YES!" Alessia screamed before he could even continue the question. Bucky laughed at her excitement before she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him, she pulled away allowing him to put the ring on her left ring finger. Alessia smiled up at Bucky who stared at her with pure love and adoration in his eyes, she knew that every ounce of pain was worth it thanks to the man standing in front of her.

They continued to dance the whole night away and by the time they got back to their room where Bucky was quick to connect their lips, it was the early hours of the morning. Their kiss got heated quickly, he had her pinned against the wall as his hand explored her body. Everywhere he touched caused goosebumps on her skin and every kiss made her knees weak. "Jump," he whispered into her ear, she instantly jumped up wrapping her arms around his waist.

He began kissing her again as her hands trailed over his chest, stomach and shoulders. She felt him shiver under her touch as he carried her over to their bed, placing her down before hovering above her. "I don't want to put off the wedding, I wanna be a Barnes... we never know what could happen, so I want this - I want you." He smiled at her words, "I couldn't agree more." He slowly removed her shirt and kissed down the middle of her chest, her body shivered in response.

His hands slowly moved down her body, his flesh hand lowered to the top of her jean shorts slowly unbuttoning them as his mouth hovered above her stomach, his warm breath fanning across it. She took in slow breaths as he removed her shorts, a slight smirk on his face as his hand moved to her core. His new vibranium hand rested on her hip, the cool metal was comforting against her warm body.

He moved up to kiss her lips again as she pulled his shirt off, running her fingers down his chest and stomach. Her hand stopped at his jeans, his lips kissing down her jaw as she unbuttoned them. She moved her hand into his jeans and slowly caressed his member causing a groan to leave his lips. He quickly grabbed her wrist and pulled it away causing her to whimper, "It's about you tonight, Doll." His voice was breathy causing her heart to race.

He began kissing down her jaw to her neck, nipping lightly at the skin as he moved further down until his mouth was above her core. He slowly moved her laced underwear aside, his fingers teasingly rubbing up and down making her moan lightly. Her whole body felt alight with sparks, she needed him, "Buc-ky..." she whimpered causing him to smirk, "What do you want, Doll?" His warm breath fanned over her core.

She closed her eyes as his finger entered her core slowly, she lightly moaned as her hips bucked slightly. He began moving faster before slowing down again, "What do you want?" His tone was more dominant and deep making her shiver as she opened her eyes to look at him. "I want you..." His steel-blue eyes darkened slightly as he moved up to kiss her, his fingers rubbing her core.

He removed his briefs, "Your wish is my command, Doll." Alessia smiled as he adjusted his member, the tip rubbed against her core causing her legs to tremble slightly as her hips threatened to buck forward. He slowly entered causing a loud moan to leave her lips, he leaned down to kiss her as he allowed her to adjust to his size.

Once she knew she was comfortable, she moved her hips against him. He responded instantly and began thrusting causing pleasurable moans to leave her lips, his mouth moved to her neck as he groaned ever so slightly with every few thrusts. After a few minutes, he pulled away and she pushed him to lay on the bed as it was her turn to take some control.

She leaned down as he thrust, kissing him passionately as they continued. Her body tensed slightly as her climax hit causing breathless moans and Bucky's name to leave her lips, Bucky followed soon after leaving both of them breathless as she moved to lay next to him. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her head, "I love you Alessia." She smiled up at him, "I love you Bucky."
