“Caius! I will be fine!” You yelled at Him. He glared at you intensely frowning lightly. Absolutely he disliked to run after people. But for you, his mate he has to afterall he has to ensure his mate is safe and healthy.

He shooked his head in disbelief turning away from you. You were now facing his back. He muttered tilting his head down, “Since this is working what shall I do.....?”

You narrowed your eyes, observing his actions. He walked out of your room.
You sat on the bed wondering if he's too angry with you or not. You rested your chin on your palm, being able to feel your fever.
You huffed, “I hate to be sick!”

Suddenly Caius glided in the room infront of you with a MEDICINE! 💊

You widened your eyes fixed on the syrup bottle he had in his hand. You jumped standing up on the bed. “No! Keep that thing away from me Caius! Keep that thing away from me!” you yelled.

He shot an annoyed look at you, “Just drink it, you will get better.”

You let a fake laughter out, “really? Something so bitter can help someone to recover from illness?” you laughed holding your stomach falling on the bed curling yourself.

Caius took the chance, he shoved a spoonful of syrup as prescribed in your mouth. Before you could say anything. You already swallowed the syrup. You grimaced,“What the fūck was that caius?”

He said coldly, “Thank me later when you are free from sickness."

You pouted. He Snickered looking at you sitting next to you as he pulled you in his lap. He hugged you to his chest. “Darling? You don't really suit yourself when you are sick. Tommorow you will get completely fine like before. Aro is missing you harassing him, Marcus is missing all those braids you do with his hair. You want them all back right? That's why you have to my love.”

The way he made you understand. You snuggled in his arms closing your eyes falling asleep with a smile on your face.
