"I got your text, Adelle. What happened ?"
Rajwan and Allison came running in the hallway, looking at me in concern.
I tried to explain the situation, but my voice was stuck in my throat.
"the doctor said that Nabil should be okay. Don't worry, guys."

Barron reassured. My siblings nodded, and Rajwan settled down next to me, his hand on my shoulder.
"but what really happened..?"
He asked, his voice lower than before. I shrugged.
"I'll explain later."

He nodded.

2 Hours Later :

As soon as we arrived home that day, Nabil with us, as he was just finished with his treatment (thank god he didn't slip into a coma or something), we agreed not to tell mum about it, if we found her anyway.

But we did, much to my delight.

As we entered the house, we saw her sitting on the couch, holding her IPad and scrolling down her social media.
"oh good thing you're all back. I need to talk to you."
She started.

Clearly she didn't know that something was up, or why we were so late. So, score. Since when does she know things anyway? She finds out the stuff we don't want to tell her about if our lives depended on it. But nothing else.

"Adelle, I need you to go to your Aunt Sabah, and explain our 'new' situation to her."
I rolled my eyes.

"why me ? She's your sister."
I asked in annoyance.
"because you're the only one who can speak to adults without rolling her eyes or smiling like an idiot. Plus, I can't just send her one of your brothers and ask them to explain. See my point ?"

I actually didn't see her point. But there was no point in arguing, as I could see that she was stalling.
"take Rajwan and Barron with you."
Wow. This just got better. I will gladly do.
"fine. I'm going to change my clothes."
I said, and headed to my room.

...

We were in the car, I was cuddling Barron, while Rajwan just played with his phone.
"so, where is your aunt's house ?"
My brother asked, interrupting the silence.
"in Moharam Bek. It should be right around the corner."
I replied. He nodded, and went back to scrolling down his phone.

I cuddled with Barron a little more. He was so comforting, and I needed it, so..

As we pulled in front of an old house, we came out of the car, and Barron looked at it in awe.
"it looks great."
I smiled at him. Maybe he wasn't used to this type of houses that he finds it awesome. That's cute.
I shrugged as we entered the small building.

I knocked on the door, and I felt my brother and my boyfriend at my side, since it was too dark that they couldn't see anything.

And the door swung open.
