We've only been at the club for an hour and Sofia is already forcing Luna to take shots, knowing she'll refuse anyway.

I hear them both shout over the loud music, trying to make themselves feel heard by one another, I roll my eyes and walk away to find Bruno.

"Should you not be at the other side of the bar, controlling your wife?" I chuckle and he glances over my shoulder to now see Luna giving-in to the shot taking.

"Leave them be to have fun, it's not everyday Luna has a child-free evening I doubt." He brings the rim of the whiskey glass to his lips and downs the whole liquid, not even savouring the taste.

The club gets louder and louder with each move I make closer to the girls, making sure they're safe. Bruno decides to join with his probably fifth alcoholic drink.

Sofia glances at me and her face suddenly turns to an annoyed expression, "What?" I ask, cocking my eyebrow up to the woman I used to find less frustrating.

"You need to have a drink!" She exclaims, I turn to look at Luna who is avoiding eye-contact with me. Bruno's hand rests on my shoulder and then his lips part, "He's had one but looks like he'd rather babysit." Bruno's chuckle erupts through the club, gaining a few people's attention.

I huff and decide to down one out of the four shots that are in a row next to one another, probably one for all of us I should imagine. Sofia shrieks with happiness and takes one shot at the same time when passing the other one to Luna, she looks around and places the glass delicately next to her lips, then forcing her head to bold backwards as she consumes the clear liquid.

The alcohol wasn't strong, it didn't set my throat on fire and went down like water. I end up consuming more than just that one shot.

We all sit down in a booth and take another shot together. Nothing else crosses my mind, no mafia business, none of my men worrying. Even though they're probably at the other end of the club, doing their own thing. But tonight, I don't care.

Midnight passed two hours ago, I was now sat on a bench outside of the club with a glass of scotch in my hand, I wasn't planning to drink it just yet, I'm sat here cradling it like it's going to disappear.

The cold air fills my lungs with the freshness I've been desperate for. The club was beginning to get stuffy and crowded.

I take a tiny sip of my scotch and begin to think of Alessia. A million questions bombards my mind wondering if she went to bed okay, what has she been doing with my father and grandmother? Has she been upset that her mother is out? But before another question could hoard my mind, the soft voice approaches me and comes closer until I can smell the fragrance radiating off of her skin.

"So, what are you doing out here?" She questions me with her plump lips, I chuckle at her and think of the irony. A big mafia boss who doesn't like stuffy clubs. Who knew?

"Would you believe me if I said I was thinking about our daughter?" I smile at her and suddenly her teeth begin to show, she smirks at me and two dimples either side of her cheeks pop out. Revealing her happiness.

"Honestly? Would you believe me if I said I believe you?" She looks at me, I stare at her and admire her in the beautiful red dress. It matched the roses Alessia and I brought for her this afternoon. She takes a seat next to me and sighs.

"Hai indossato il mio colore preferito per me?" [Did you wear my favourite colour for me]

"English Dante." She chuckles, I sigh and stare at her.

"Just answer, yes or no." I nudge her and watch as the smile re-appears, I know she isn't sober, but being tipsy together is almost amusing.

"Hmmm, yeah?" She questions her answer, but begins to laugh and shrugg it off. For some reason her words race around my body, I know she has no idea what I'm talking about but my blood has suddenly become warm.

"The lights." I mutter, Luna glances at me and cocks up her brow from the random statement.

"That's where we first met, the club, I was there with Arianna and Bruno, to find the Black Eagles... They never came but I met you out of it."

"Yeah it was, that's where our daughter was made." She chuckles and I laugh along with her comment, she isn't lying. Without that night our little girl wouldn't have been here.

"What are Sofia and Bruno doing along with my men?" I look at her and she chuckles.

"Dancing and doing shots all together, I said I needed some air and bam, here you are." She chuckles again, revealing those two dots on either side of her cheeks once more.

She looks at me and down at my collar, I'm in a buttoned shirt and trousers, no blazer tonight too hot for that. I look down and see the silver chain hanging down my neck, I glance back up and Luna shoots her gaze back to my eyes.

"Zaffiro, something caught your eye?" I cock up my eyebrow and she nods lightly.

"Who brought you that? It seems... Special."

I run my fingers through my sweat covered locks, I stare back at her and take in a deep breath, finally talking about the woman who I've not seen in years. Even though the alcohol almost would refuse it.

"My mother." I say sternly, I sit up straight and look at Luna, through her eyes.

"What happened Dante?" She tries to ease in the question yet it still seems to cause me pain and anger, I can't talk to her, not about my mother.

"Were not doing this Luna." I sigh "You're more than welcome to live in my house, talk to my family... But you can't expect a future, a future where we become friends just because we share the same child." My defense mechanism is higher than ever, higher than my men have ever irritated me.

I witness the water overlapping her eyes, I didn't mean to hurt her feelings, but I don't even speak to my brother about my mum. And we're blood related.

She gets up suddenly and walks away, not looking back, she storms back into the club and probably will grab the first glass she sees, taken or not.

The stress suddenly consumes my body, I fucked up. I need to say why I don't want to talk about my mother, not make Luna the reason why I don't. I get up off of the bench and chase after her, following her into the club. I don't see her at first and push pass all the warm bodies huddling near me. It's too claustrophobic in here, I need to get myself out of here as soon as I find Luna.

A woman stares at me from a far and winks, but it only makes me cringe. I look further for Luna, just to spot her blonde hair wave for me to follow, but there is no sign. I make my way closer and find my brother and his wife talking to Cameron and Justin.

"Hey Dante, you want to dance with us?" Sofia asks with a large grin on her face, I shrug.

"Shots?" She squeals. I shake my head and I sigh, "No thank you Sofia, not tonight." I continue to glance around the club, trying to see where Blondie went. But I still can't see her.

"Did you see where Luna went?" I ask and Sofia points over to the corner or the room.

I turn and notice Draco slamming himself against Luna, pinning her against the wall with his hands on her waist, putting his lips against hers. The sight only makes me want to castrate him. I find my fists balled up, ready to use on his face. He shouldn't be kissing a prisoner. She is still a cop. No matter what.
