Jennifer looks over her shoulder worriedly before looking in front of her when suddenly someone grabs her by the throat in a tight grip.

"Where the hell is she?" Derek asks Jennifer with a glare as he tightens his hold around Jennifer's throat, which makes her take gasp in pain.

"Oh, I knew you loved me," Ellie says wrapping her arms around Derek who looks down at her smiling softly at her.

"But I love you more mom," Eli tells her hugging Ellie who chuckles at him kissing his forehead as Derek rolls his eyes at his son.

"You won't kill me, Derek," Jennifer gasps out making Derek glare at her.

"I don't know about that. He seems pretty welling too," Liam says wide-eyed nodding his head making Stiles and Isaac agree with him.

"As he should," Malia says rolling her eyes and making Peter look towards her with questionable eyes but doesn't say anything. She seemed familiar.

"You sure about that?" Derek asks tightening his grip.

"Ellie's life is now in my hands. If you kill me you will never find her alive," Jennifer tells him as Derek just glare at her harder when suddenly a gun was then clicked making Jennifer look to see Chris holding a gun to her head.

"Answer the question. Where the hell is my little girl?" Chris asks making Jennifer gulp slightly.

"Aww! Father-in-law and future son-in-law teamwork!" Ellie says smiling at the two who glare at her making her chuckle.

"You need me. You both need me," Jennifer tells them as Derek throws Jennifer to the ground. She breathes heavily as she puts her hand on her throat, and looks at them.

"What did you do to my daughter?" Chris asks her making Jennifer chuckles.

"I'm surprised you haven't figured it out. Ellie did," Jennifer says making the two glare at her full of hatred.

"Well I'm smarter," Ellie says struggling as Chris sends her a look making Ellie smile at him innocently.

"It started at the beginning of the summer. When I saw her for the first time leaving Beacon Hills. The second I saw her I could feel her raw power," Jennifer says as she chuckles shaking her head.

"And I knew that she would be the perfect person for a sacrifice. For she is a guardian, both supernatural and the way she looks out for others. A healer, for she could heal people with a simple spell. The definition of a warrior. A virgin-," Jennifer begins making Derek cough while Chris glares at him.

"Thanks for that!" Ellie yells hitting Derek who raises his hands in surrender.

"Ellie you been not being a virgin," Allison reminds her making Ellie glare at her as Chris just sighs shaking his head.

"She has most attributes I need but she was too powerful for me to do anything," Jennifer says as Chris looks at her in realization.

"The bird attack," Chris says as Jennifer nods.

"One cut on the arm with my blood. It entered her system. Linking us. So as she got weaker I got stronger. The more she used her magic the more powerful I got," Jennifer tells them as they glare at her.

"I hate her," Allison says glaring at the screen making everyone nod agreeing with her.

"And I knew she would. She would do whatever to protect the ones she loves," Jennifer chuckles as she shakes her head.

"So slowly she was dying. I'm sure you all knew that though. From the black blood. The veins. And the body aches," Jennifer tells them as Chris and Derek glare at her.

"And if you want her to live you will help me defeat Deucalion," Jennifer tells them.

"And how would you do that?" Chris asks Jennifer as she looks toward Derek.

"For years, the Nemeton's power was virtually gone, like the dying ember of a burned-out fire. But, a few months earlier, something happened that caused that ember to glow a little brighter. Something that gave it a spark of power again-- the sacrifice of a virgin," Jennifer says as Derek looks up at her surprised.

Derek tense up at that making Ellie rub his knuckles and calm him down.

"You didn't know what you were doing back then, but killing Paige in the root cellar-- sacrificing her there-- gave power to the Nemeton. You gave it power again. You gave me power. Just enough to hold onto life a little longer. Long enough to be found," Jennifer tells him as Derek's jaw clenches.

"When?" Chris asks making Jennifer turn to him.

"The lunar eclipse," Jennifer states as Chris and Derek look at her.

"When they lose all their power," Chris states making Jennifer nod.

"But me!" Ellie says smiling brightly as everyone looks at her.

"We have to do something! I will not lose my twin. My sister!" Allison stresses worriedly as she pace.

"We will. We'll save her," Scott tells Allison who looks at him panicked.

"How? How can we?! We don't even know where she is! And this is all because of us. We used her for her powers and now...we killed her," Allison says as she begins to sob slightly Deaton walks towards the two while Stiles was biting his finger as he paced looking down.

"Allison it was my choice. I didn't listen," Ellie tells her twin softly but firmly making her nod at that.

"The three of you can exchange her sacrifice with yours," Deaton tells them making the three look at him confused and wanting more information.

"No! No absolutely not!" Ellie screams as she gets up and looks at the three.

"No!" Ellie tells them leaving no room for discussion as they look at her and then at each other.

"No! Deaton should not have even suggested that! The consequences of that are deadly! Literally, you can die and never come back or bring something back that is dead!" Ellie tells them with a glare.

"Ellie...you would risk everything for us why wouldn't we for you?" Stiles asks her softly making Ellie sigh.

"Because I'm on limited time Stiles. You aren't," Ellie tells him softly making everyone at her as Derek pulls her back down and kisses her forehead making her calm down.

"Essentially, you, Allison, and Stiles need to be surrogate sacrifices for Ellie," Deaton explains to them.

"We die for her?" Scott asks stunned as Deaton nods.

"...You can bring us back, right?" Stiles asks him worriedly.

"You remember the part where I said it was dangerous?" Deaton asks them as the three nods slowly at that.

"If it goes right, the three of you will be dead for a few seconds... But, there's something else you need to think about. This is a dangerous ritual for more reasons than one. You'll be giving power back to the Nemeton, a place that hasn't had power for a long time. This kind of power is like a magnet-- it attracts the supernatural, the kind of things that a family like the Argents can fill a bestiary with. It will draw them here, like a beacon," Deaton explains to the group.

"So don't do it!" Ellie says glaring at the three who look away from her making her glare.

"Doesn't sound worse than anything we've already seen...," Stiles says shrugging.

"You'd be surprised at what you have yet to see," Deaton tells him.

"A lot," Ellie says sighing and shaking her head.

"Is that it?" Scott asks Deaton.

"No. It'll also have an effect on the three of you. You won't be able to see it, but you'll feel it... every day, for the rest of your lives. It'll be a kind of... darkness around your heart, and permanent, like a scar," Deaton explains as the three process his words.

"...Like a tattoo," Scott state as Allison looks at Deaton.

"But how could we do that?"Allison asks Deaton who looks at the three.

"Exactly. Allison, I understand she is Ellie's twin but what about me and Scott?" Stiles questions confused.

"You each share a connection to Ellie," Deaton tells them making the three confused.

"Allison is Ellie's twin. They share an unbreakable bond. They have since they were born," Deaton explains as Allison pushes down her tears.

Allison smiles at Ellie who smiles back at her softly.

"Stiles is Ellie's best friend. The two share a bond similar to that of soulmates but not romantic," Deaton says surprising the group.

"Oh," Ellie and Stiles say slowly before smiling at each other okay with that.

"It's why the two of them bonded immediately and feel as if they are each other's other halves. You sort of are," Deaton says as Stiles looks stunned.

"And Scott has a supernatural bond with Ellie. A guardian and its protector. It formed the night Ellie got shot. The two of you didn't even realize though," Deaton says as Scott nods.

"What does that mean?" Scott asks confused making Ellie look at him.

"It means I protect everyone but you protect me pretty much," Ellie says shrugging making Scott nod at that.

"You also need something of hers to hold once you do. Something significant," Deaton tells them as they nod.

"We can get something from the apartment and meet at the animal clinic," Allison says making Scott and Stiles nod as Deaton looks at them.

"Are you sure about this?" Deaton asks them as the three shares a look and nod.

"Ellie would do it for us. She did do it for us. She sacrificed herself so my dad didn't get taken. I'm doing it," Stiles states making Allison nod.

"I won't let my sister die. I won't look back on this and regret not doing anything," Allison states sternly.

"Ellie never gives up on us. We aren't giving up on her. She sacrificed everything for us. She deserves the same," Scott state making Deaton nod.

Ellie looks at the three with tears in her eyes making them smile at her softly.

"Alright," Deaton tells them knowing nothing he could say would change their minds.

"Alright well just get something out of Ellie's room," Allison says as she unlocks the door. The three walk in and head toward Ellie's room.

"It's sort of weird you guys being in my room without me there," Ellie says making them nod agreeing with her.

Walking in Allison looks toward Ellie's bed sadly. Apart of her hoped she would walk in and Ellie would be there watching Friends.

Allison shakes her head as she heads toward Ellie's dresser. She smiles seeing the silver necklace with a ranunculus flower that Allison made her twin with their dad's help when they were younger.

"Wait is it real silver?" Talia asks looking at Chris and Allison.

"Yes," Chris tells her shrugging as Allison smiles.

Ellie loved it more than anything. Ellie always told her it was a sign of their connection.

"Perfect," Ellie says rolling her eyes and making Allison smirk.

Stiles looks around before pausing as he sees something sticking out of Ellie's nightstand.

Grabbing it Stiles smiles realizing what it was.

Stiles sat in Ellie's bed and did his homework Ellie checked it for him as she sat beside him writing in something.

"What is that? I always see you writing in it," Stiles says making Ellie look toward him.

"If I tell you. You can't tell anyone. Promise?" Ellie asks Stiles who nods looking excited.

"One day I'll die-," Ellie begins making stiles shake his head.

"I don't like how this is going," Stiles tells Ellie who rolls her eyes at him.

"Well if I die during like a fight or something I want to make sure you will all be okay. So I write down everything," Ellie tells stiles who smiles at that.

"I still don't like it," Stiles tells her making Ellie laugh at him.

"That's smart. Preparing for everything," Talia tells Ellie who smiles at her.

Stiles opens it and begins to read through it making Scott look toward him.

"Stiles!" Scott yells thinking stiles was reading Ellie's diary Stiles looks wide-eyed making the two walk toward him.

"What is it?" Allison asks him as Stiles begins to chuckle smirking at the two.

"Ellie she wrote it all down. Everything regarding her theories of the scarifies. The Darach. The Lunar Eclipse. Everything she wrote it down," Stiles says chuckling as Allison and Scott look wide-eyed before Allison grabbed the book and begins reading it.

"Hey! Rude!" Stiles tells Allison who rolls her eyes at him.

"The Dark Druid or Darach probably use to be an Emissaries for some pack. Due to the fear from the alphas and their hatred for most of them, they must have been one of there's," Allison read aloud as Scott and Stiles looked wide-eyed before Scott took the book.

"Right I am," Ellie says smirking as everyone laughs at the girl.

"Since Druids are humans, they possess the common weaknesses of humans except for those who have enhanced healing powers," Scott reads as Stiles takes the notebook.

"Mistletoe can disrupt some of their powers as well. The Darach as a glamouring ability it's will be temporarily neutralized due to the mistletoe power," Stiles reads as the three look up at each other.

"Why am I not surprised she knew all this?" Stiles asks as the other two shrug not surprised.

"Because I'm Ellie," Ellie states shrugging as everyone nods agreeing with that.

"Wait what's this?" Stiles questions as he looks down and begins to read.

"During the lunar eclipse, supernatural beings will lose their abilities for those fifteen minutes. Besides one creation who becomes stronger than before. The Guardian. But afterward, the guardian will be weaker than any of the species," Stiles reads as the three shares a look.

"So you are at an advantage and a disadvantage at once," Peter says making Ellie nod at that.

"We need to find her. Now," Allison states as Stiles and Scott begin looking around for something to grab.

"Wait what is it?" Stiles asks seeing the lacrosse ball making Allison turn to him.

"Ellie was going to gift it to you. It's the winning goal from the first game you played. She got it from Coach. Well, she stole it from Coach but he knew she did," Allison tells him as Stiles looks wide-eyed and smiles looking at it.

Ellie winks at Stiles who smiles at her thankfully.

Scott looks around before he sees a box and opens it only to see a nice-looking watch. Allison looks and chuckles making the two look at her.

"Of course, you two both found your gifts," Allison says as Scott looks surprised before smiling remembering when he mentioned to Ellie he needed one.

"Flip it over," Allison tells Scott who was confused before seeing the engraving.

"There's Always Hope," Scott reads with a small smile as he runs his finger over it.

"I love it. Thank you, Ellie," Scott tells him making Ellie wave him off but a soft smile on her face.

"Alright now let's go," Stiles instructs as the three leave and head toward the animal clinic.

Deaton, Lydia, and Isaac pour ice into the three tubs of water already filled with the leaves and berries of mistletoe while Scott, Stiles, and Allison step toward the tubs, each holding an item in their hands.

"All right. What did you bring?" Deaton asks as they all move to stand around the tubs. Stiles raises the lacrosse ball.

"Um, Ellie got this from the field or coach. It was the winning goal from my first game. Ellie was there and ran across the field to hug me. It was supposed to be a gift," Stiles says as he looks down at it.

"This is Ellie's necklace. I gifted it to her when we were younger. My dad helped me make it from pure silver. Ellie always said it was a sign of our connection," Allison said wiping her tears as Lydia holds her hand tightly.

"Scott?" Deaton asks and everyone looks at Scott as he holds up a watch.

"I told Ellie I needed a watch if I ever wanted to become a vet. She got me one it's engraved: There's Always Hope. She told me that once when I was upset. That no matter how bad it gets as long as you believe something it will be alright," Scott says rubbing the engraving as Deaton nods.

"Okay. The three of you will get in. Each of us will hold you under until you're essentially... well, dead. But, it's not just someone to hold you under it needs to be someone who can pull you back, someone with a strong connection to you. A kind of emotional tether," Deaton says making them all glance at each other.

"Lydia... You go with Stiles," Deaton says making Lydia look towards Stiles surprised as Allison looks wide-eyed.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!!!" Ellie screams as she jumps up and down with a bright smile as she jumps around.

Stiles smiles brightly while Lydia looks wide-eyed.

"Are you sure? I mean, Scott and I both have to go under," Allison asks but she knew Deaton was right.

"Oh. Oh!!!" Ellie screams laughing loudly as he points between Isaac and Allison who were looking anywhere but at each other.

"Another werewolf?!" Chris yells at Allison making Ellie laugh at him.

"...It's okay," Scott tells Allison who nods although hesitantly.

Scott, Allison, and Stiles then walk over to the tubs and carefully step into the ice and mistletoe-filled tubs and sit back.

Deaton, Lydia, and Isaac take positions behind them at the head of the tubs. Already shivering, Stiles turns to Scott.

"By the way, if I don't make it back and you do, you should probably know something... Your dad's in town," Stiles says making Scott's eyes widen.

"What?!" Scott and Melissa scream wide-eyed.

Seated in the water, Allison, Scott, and Stiles share a look. A silent moment between them.

Allison smiles softly at Stiles who smiles taking a deep breath. Before one by one, they submerge beneath the ice and mistletoe.

And as they let the water enter their lungs the three remember why they were doing this. They were doing this for Ellie.

"Idiots. All three of you are idiots," Ellie tells them making them look at her offended.
