The Addams family

π•Žπ”Όπ”»β„•π”Όπ•Šπ”»π”Έπ• woke up to his father shaking him gently. "There you are, my boy. We were looking everywhere for you two." Wednesday rubbed the sleepiness out of his eyes and glanced at the sleeping woman he loves, who was in a deep slumber on his chest, all cuddled up. He smiled lovingly at Lilith and gently kissed her cheek before speaking to his father, "Sorry for the worry, Father."

Wednesday sat up and gently picked Lilith up in his arms, feeling her snuggle closely into his warmth. Gomez watched the scene with awe and pride for his son. He nodded and began to lead the way as the trio, along with the rest of the family, walked to the entrance of their house. They were met with the sight of the gate struggling against chains and signs that read, "ADDAMS FAMILY KEEP OUT" and "NO TRESPASSING."

By this time, Lilith was awake. Gomez spoke, bewildered, "What is all this?" Tully arrived on the other side of the gate holding a sheet of paper. "This is a restraining order," he announced.

"A restraining order?" Gomez repeated, confused. Lilith looked around anxiously and asked, "What's going on?" Wednesday, holding her close, replied, "I'm not exactly sure, my darling."

Tully continued, "Yes. It requires you to keep a distance of one thousand yards from this house."

Gomez walked closer to the gate, incredulous. "I am restrained from my own house?"

Tully smirked and replied, "Not your house, mustache. Not anymore. It belongs to the oldest living descendant, the elder brother, Fester Addams."

"Fester adores Gomez," Morticia spoke, her voice steady and confident. "No, no," Tully replied, shaking his head. "He's afraid of him. Seeing the twins brought it all back. You're bitter rivals, Gomez." Gomez stepped closer to the gate, his tone turning stern, causing Tully to step back. "I demand to speak with Fester."

"Sorry. No can do. He's very hurt. Just leave. Oh, and..." Tully turned his gaze to Lilith. "Lilith, come with me." Lilith glared at him, her voice filled with defiance. "Va au diable. (Go to hell) I'm not going back to that woman." Wednesday tightened his grip on her protectively. Tully sighed, shaking his head. "Sorry, my dear. However, you are still in the custody of your aunt, Mrs. Craven." Lilith bit the inside of her cheek, looking down in distress. Morticia and Gomez watched her intently. Lilith sighed and spoke softly, "Dr. Pinder-Schloss is my aunt, not Tully. However, I didn't know their plan was this. I'm so sorry."

Morticia stepped closer, her eyes narrowing slightly. "You played us. Lied to us. Kept quiet from us." She lifted Lilith's chin gently, making her look into her eyes. "I respect that. I knew I liked you for a reason."

Morticia smiled warmly before turning her gaze to Tully, placing a reassuring hand on Lilith's shoulder. Tully walked off, and Gomez turned to the group with a confident smile. "Have no fear. Justice shall prevail. The courts will decide. They say a man who represents himself has a fool for a client. Well, with God as my witness, I am that fool!"

"Therefore, it is with no small amount of personal satisfaction that I declare Fester Addams the legal executor of the Addams estate and rightful owner of all possessions and properties contained therein. Additionally, Miss Lilith Winters is in the full custody of Mrs. Craven, with one exception. Gomez Addams, I believe these are yours," the judge announced with a smirk, pouring a bucket full of golf balls onto the table and laughing.

Wednesday looked at Lilith with shock and sadness, the thought of her being taken away from him piercing his heart. Lilith met his gaze, desperation in her eyes as she was about to move towards him, but an officer grabbed her tightly, preventing her escape. She struggled against his grip, trying to break free. Seeing this, Wednesday's eyes darkened with fury, his mind racing with thoughts of harming the officer who dared to hold his beloved. He tensed, ready to act, but felt a strong hand on his shoulder. Pugsley, sensing his brother's intent, held him back firmly.

"Wednesday, don't," Pugsley whispered urgently. "We'll find another way."

Wednesday's chest heaved with frustration and helplessness as he watched Lilith being dragged away. Her eyes never left his, filled with silent pleas and unspoken words.

Gomez sat in his car with a look of betrayal, defeat, and confusion. The rest of the Addams family were collecting their belongings and packing them into the car, their faces also showing defeat and sadness as they prepared to leave their homeβ€”the home filled with cherished memories. Wednesday was about to get into the car when he stopped and looked up at a window. There stood Lilith, looking down with longing and sadness in her eyes. Wednesday's eyes softened at the sight of her. He looked at her with a silent promise that he would come back for her and that he loved her deeply. Lilith, understanding his unspoken words, mouthed, "I love you."

Wednesday stared at her for a moment, their connection palpable despite the distance. His gaze was then caught by the sight of Mrs. Craven, who stood nearby, smiling victoriously. A murderous anger filled Wednesday's eyes as he glared at her, his gaze full of cold fury before he turned and got into the car.

Lilith watched with heartache as the Addams family drove away, her beloved Wednesday leaving with them.

That night, Tully, Fester, and Mrs. Craven were frantically searching for the vault, but their efforts were proving unsuccessful. Meanwhile, Lilith was locked in her room by Mrs. Craven, trying to find solace in her art. She sat at her easel, the dim light of a candle casting flickering shadows around the room. Her heart ached, but she focused on her drawing, determined to ease her troubled mind.

With delicate strokes, she drew a crow holding a rose in its beakβ€”a symbol of her love and longing for Wednesday. As she worked, the image took shape: the crow's feathers were rendered in rich, dark hues, and the rose was a vibrant, blood-red bloom. The symbolism was clear to her: the crow represented Wednesday, her dark and mysterious love, and the rose stood for her own heart, given freely and completely to him.

She gazed at the finished painting, her eyes reflecting both love and pain. A soft smile tugged at her lips, but tears threatened to spill over. Despite the overwhelming sadness, she resolved to stay strong for Wednesday and for herself. She would not let Mrs. Craven's cruelty break her spirit or rob her of her hope.

Lilith gently set the brush aside and touched the painting, tracing the lines of the crow and the rose. She whispered softly to herself, "For you and myself, mon corbeau. I will be strong. I will not let her win, and I will not cry anymore."

Her heartache was deep, but her resolve was stronger. As the night wore on, the sounds of Tully, Fester, and Mrs. Craven's futile search echoed through the halls, but Lilith remained steadfast in her quiet rebellion. She would endure, and she would wait for the day when she could be with Wednesday again, free from the clutches of those who sought to control her.
