"Taehyung?" Seokjin was first to take notice of the boy who walked in side-by-side with Jimin, a wide smile over his pretty plump lips.
Taehyung already wanted to leave but he was going to try harder than this. "Hi . . ." He breathed out a bit too quietly, clearing his throat. "H-Hi, hi, guys." He tried to smile but it was so forced.
Jungkook looked over his shoulder and fuck. He really didn't have feelings but feelings never left a person's mind. No matter how much you want to forget someone, the fact that you loved them as much as you did will forever remind you of the happiness you once had with that person.
Jungkook was reminded of how beautiful he thought Taehyung was, how caring and cute, how sweet and adoring, how loving he was.
Like lovely feelings, bad times came into his head and washed away his thriving heart into one that was ready to go to war with toxins and horrible flashbacks of sleepless nights and having to deal with a bipolar twin brother.
His heart and his head were going at what he should say, do, and what he should feel.
So, with that, he decided to not speak, just nodding and turning back away so he could collect himself for a second. It hurt.
"What are you doing here?" Hoseok wondered, no one actually appearing to be upset but more shocked and confused.
"Well, um . . . I-I . . . Uh," he gulped, scratching the side of his neck nervously. He was at a loss of words and was unsure on what he could say to help make this situation more bearable.
Before he could stumble over words anymore, Seokjin pushed out of his seat and wrapped his arms around Taehyung, taking the younger by surprise. "Glad you're here." He mumbled.
Out of everything, he didn't expect someone to hug him. He returned it and squeezed his arms around Seokjin's waist, hiding his face in his shoulder. He breathed in his scent and took in his warmth. It's been forever since he hugged someone other than Jimin.
Seokjin was always the most caring member who listened and would never turn his back to any of his boys. It was so comforting and really made Taehyung relax just a bit.
"Thank you," Taehyung let out in a small whisper, only allowing Seokjin to hear such soft words.
The elder nodded and pulled back, returning to his seat. Taehyung and Jimin both sat down, the table soon falling silent.
This time, everyone thought it was awkward, not just Jungkook who took a bite of his cold eggs after dipping it in a bit of ketchup.
"So . . ." Yoongi pursed his lips, dragging out of the word. "You coming to the game?"
"Yeah, Jungkook invited me to come with." Taehyung answered, looking at Jungkook who hadn't looked at him since he walked into the small café.
"That's nice." Said Yoongi who nibbled on his muffin, sparing a glance up at Hoseok who was already looking back at him, knowing eyes. "How have things been with you?" Yoongi got the hint that Hoseok wanted him to not let the table fall back into an unbearable silence.
"Been good." Taehyung said, keeping his hands on his lap while Jimin looked at him from time to time. "With you? With you guys?"
"I've been doing well. Me and Namjoon are married." Seokjin spoke up, taking his husband's hand in his own. The other smiled at Taehyung who didn't at all looked surprised.
"Sorry I couldn't come to the wedding." Apologized Taehyung with sympathetic eyes.
"Don't worry," Namjoon finally spoke. He had truly woken up the moment Taehyung stepped in, everyone was taken by surprise. "We didn't have a wedding. Well, we did, but it was just for us to enjoy." He added on to verify.
"Still, I wish I could have congratulated you guys in some way." Taehyung was so sweet.
After that, it felt so quiet and suffocating. It felt like no one wanted to talk to Taehyung, like no one wanted to say anything at all. Hoseok didn't understand that much, not at all.
"Can I ask one thing?" Hoseok spoke up, leaning back in his seat with a face that appeared to be confused.
"Go for it." Yoongi let his boyfriend take the center of attention, everyone looking at Hoseok patiently.
Hoseok cleared his throat. "I just wanted to say that I don't quite understand why any of us should be mad at Taehyung." He started but shook his head to change his words a bit. "Actually, the twins have every right to be. But us . . ." He looked at the remaining four. "Sure Taehyung left without a word but now that I think about it, didn't we all break off anyways?"
"Where are you going with this exactly?" Jungkook asked. Those had been his first words since Taehyung's been here.
"No reason honestly, just confused why people feel like things need to be awkward or why we can't talk to him like normal human-beings. People breakaway, grow apart, so I think the rest of us should stop acting like this is so weird. None of us were awkward when Jeongguk and Jungkook came back to Korea after so long. We didn't get all clamped up and silent on them though they went all the way back to America and Taehyung just went back to Daegu." It was so out there but Hoseok wanted to make sure he was heard.
"Who's treating it that way?" Asked Seokjin.
"Feels like everyone." Hoseok shrugged. "I'm just saying, he shouldn't be treated any less by us." He added to simplify what he meant.
Jungkook knew he wasn't including in that, Hoseok specifying that he and his brother had a valid reason to not like Taehyung or to treat him differently but he disagreed silently.
The Jeon Twins up and left the same way Taehyung did.
They packed their things and travelled to America without telling the rest of the boys why. They were upset and so angry at Taehyung that they repeated exactly what he did.
The hate in his heart subsided for a moment and he took that time to look up at Taehyung who had a pretty smile over his lips.
The aforementioned looked over at Jungkook who didn't dare waver his eye contact even in the slightly. He just looked at him, lips tightly together, eyes focused.
He watched as Taehyung's smile flattered and brows furrowed, feeling as if he did something wrong. Jungkook felt like he could read Taehyung the same way he could three years ago so he smiled at the boy and was thankful to see a smile back at him.
Today didn't have to be a bad day.

"Are we there yet?" Seokjin asked for the nth time, Jungkook ready to slam on his breaks and make the adult fly out the windshield but he wasn't ready to be charged with manslaughter.
"Jin, ask one more time and I'm throwing you out of my car for you to fend for yourself." Jungkook threatened.
"Jeongguk?" Seokjin asked, the threat not appearing to be in Jungkook's vocabulary but after being irritated with the same question time and time again, it was well apart of him.
The twin just huffed and shook his head. Taehyung decided to ride with Jimin, Hoseok and Yoongi while Jungkook was stuck with Namjoon and Seokjin.
Not necessarily a bad thing but bad enough because Seokjin was so antsy and wanted to just get out of the car already.
They weren't even in the car for long, just ten minutes as of now but no one liked being cooped in a car anyways.
Namjoon also was annoyed by the constant nagging that happened every passing minute so he just rested his head back and decided to shut his eyes for a bit.
That quickly was interrupted when the car finally came to a complete stop and the engine was shut off. Namjoon never got to take a nap.
"Yay!" Seokjin cheered like a child. It seemed like he grew backward, maybe that's why he never aged. He quickly threw the buckle off of him and got out of the car, stretching out his body and rolling out his shoulders.
"You married that." Said Jungkook.
"Yeah, I married that." Namjoon agreed, sighing before he got out of the car. He wasn't upset or regretful, just accepting of his forever husband.
Jungkook chuckled and also got out of the car, Namjoon slowly following.
Jimin's car pulled up and parked directly beside Jungkook's, the four of them leaving the air conditioned car to step out into the warm sunlight.
Silence engulfed them. Jungkook could only guess how quiet it was in Jimin's car.
Surprisingly enough, it wasn't actually that quiet. Hoseok and Jimin talked a bunch and Taehyung would chip in here and there. Yoongi was the only quiet one but that never changed. He was always the quiet one.
"Okay, so, there's still an hour before the game actually starts so feel free to walk around and look at the gift shops around." Jungkook informed the group.
"Do they speak Korean?" Seokjin asked.
"Probably not so whip out your English speaking skills and spark up a conversation." The Jeon Twin told, slipping his keys into his pocket and beginning to walk away from the group.
Jimin was confused but grabbed Taehyung's hand and tugged him along, following Jungkook.
"You're just leaving us all like that?" Jimin wondered, keeping his hold on Taehyung beyond the protest of the younger.
Jungkook opened his mouth to say something but stopped once he looked over his shoulder to see Taehyung. Fuck. He closed his lips and stopped walking, turning fully around. "What do you guys have in mind we do?"
That wasn't what Jungkook originally was going to say but he couldn't come off as a jerk after Hoseok's grand speech on why they were so mean towards Taehyung.
"What were you going to do?" Jimin returned, finally letting go of Taehyung's hand. He crossed them over his chest, not in attitude, just a relaxed stance.
"Go talk to Gguk." Jungkook uttered honestly. "But something's telling me that as a trio, it isn't a good idea. We can just look at gift shops and get gear for us to wear." He suggested, checking the time on his phone once more.
Jimin wanted Taehyung and Jungkook to at least make up. At least. It would be a bonus if Jeongguk would look past it but Jimin didn't see that happening anytime soon — which was fine. Jeongguk should take his time and go at his own pace when it came to forgiving.
Jimin still didn't know forgiving what. Not yet anyways.
"I would like that." Taehyung said, wanting to support the other twin and look more apart of the crowd even though football wasn't completely understood by him.
"Great." Jungkook said, looking down before he turned around and began to walk again. He decided to walk ahead of the other two.
