"Here you go." He says, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. He flashes me a smile and then starts walking away.

I am just left behind blinking my eyes.

"Yah! Jungguk-ah!" I call him out and he stops, his back still faces me.
"What about you? You'll end up getting detention."

He turns to face me, then shakes his head and flashes me a million dollar smile, which melts my heart, and says,
"Don't worry about it."

He turns back and starts walking again, hands in his pant pockets, and my backpack along with his on both his shoulders.

"Come on now, do you wanna be late?"

So I catch up on him and we walk out of the alleyway.

At the gates, the teacher in charge checks me and lets me enter.

I turn back to look at Jungguk, who gets caught by the teacher. The teacher writes down something in his notepad, probably Jungguk's class and name, and then lets him enter.

Jungguk walks towards me.

"What did he say?"

"Oh, nothing. He just wrote down my name and class, for detention I think."

I feel guilt building up my throat.
Comes out as a mere whisper before I know it.
"Sorry."
