The convenience store.

I stand outside it, the board holding its name hung high above the entrance of it.

I sigh.

It was 8:23 p.m., and I, was hungry. But well, when I lazily stood up from the couch, wiping away the remnants of tears from around my swollen red eyes and dragged myself to the kitchen of my apartment, I realized that I was out of groceries.

I had to do the groceries yesterday, but of course I forgot.
It would be Jungguk, who would remind me of it. We used to do it together. This way, doing groceries became interesting.

But it had been three days since that incident with Jungguk, and I was doing everything to avoid him.

I know I should confront him, talk it out. But I just wasn't ready to hear him say he didn't feel for me the way I did. Even though I knew that was just the case. That look,  after the kiss, on his face, was enough for me to understand that he regretted it.

Anyway, I had no choice but to walk to the store myself.

I walk inside, and saunter straight to the part of the store which holds instant ramen packs.

Picking up my favourite flavour, I step back to check out some other new flavours they'd launched.

But, then I noticed something, or rather someone, through the empty place of the rack.

And he, was looking straight through my eyes.
