PLOT

Fury. A powerful name belonging to even more powerful people. And Nyla was no different. She had been training under her father for as long as she could remember, working to become the best she could be. Nyla spent every second of every day in the training room on the Helicarrier. And when she wasn't training, she was researching all the people S.H.I.E.L.D. faced since it was created. Nyla wanted to impress her father more than anything else in the world and show him she had what it took to be a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.

Little did she know that she already did.

It was safe to say that Nyla was surprised when Fury asked her to help him with the Avengers Initiative. He gave his daughter the job of bringing in the one and only Steve Rogers. The excitement she felt after getting her assignment was indescribable. That was the first time her father personally gave her a mission. But Nyla forced herself to remain calm, wanting to show Fury that she was capable of completing her task.

And, once again, she did.

It wasn't long before Nyla found herself standing beside a group of heroes that didn't seem possible. And on top of it all, she discovered that Fury planned for her to join them since the beginning. She never thought she'd be teaming up with two geniuses, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s best spies, a god, and a man out of time. Now she was working with them to stop the God of Mischief from tearing their world apart.

What could go wrong?

NOTES

▻ I was having a hard time deciding if Nyla is Fury's biological or adopted daughter so I'll leave it up to you to decide.

▻ Nyla is the one who recruits Steve to the Avengers.

▻ Steve doesn't learn that Nyla is Fury's daughter until Winter Soldier. It's up to you to decide how he reacts to it.

▻ Other than Steve, the Avengers she's the closest to are Clint and Natasha. All of them have a sibling relationship. She got close to them after they helped train her a few times. They also went on a few missions together. They are the only ones who know she's Fury's daughter.

▻ Nyla is torn on signing the Sokovia Accords but eventually decides not to sign.

▻ I was going back and forth on giving Nyla powers or having her be a master spy like her father. If she were to have powers, they would be connected to animals. (Similar to Amaya Jiwe's abilities on Legends of Tomorrow.)

▻ You can decide whether The Fury Within is a series or a stand-alone with multiple parts.

▻ On the outside, Nyla always seems calm and collected. But inside, she's constantly fighting her undying fear of failure and letting her father down.
