CHAPTER 2 (PT. 1) : THE HOT BOY

Devi was reading After, the novel by Anna Todd, when suddenly, she heard a knock

"what? Mom, I'm fast asleep!" Devi yelled, immediately keeping the book aside, and pulling the covers over her

the door opened, and in came someone unexpected

"you don't look like you're asleep" a male voice said

"Paxton?" Devi asked, confused, this is not a dream, is it? "what are you doing here" Devi asked quickly getting up

"I'm doing exactly what I said I'd do. I'm here to have sex with you" Paxton said, and took his shirt off with one hand

'oh, what a talent, I definitely have to learn that'

Devi lets out a breath, she didn't knew she was holding and let out a surprised "whoa!"

"wow, your body looks so good in that oversized t-shirt. And is that...dandruff shampoo?" Paxton asks inhaling the smell of her Scrunchie. he takes Devi's hands, and lays down on her bed, making Devi straddle him

"wait, this is a dream, Isn't it?" Devi finally quoted her thoughts

"look, if anyone here is dreaming, it's me. I mean look at you, you have the beauty of Priyanka Chopra" and Devi's mood turned sour

"wait, how do you know my cousin? you came for her?" Devi asked, getting up from him

"no, of course not, I was talking about the actress Priyanka Chopra, and I love you, not your cousin" Paxton said, as Devi kept looking at him, sighing softly

and then she woke up

"(McEnroe) of course it was a dream, people. You didn't think it would be that easier for her, did you?"

Priyanka POV

The next at school, I was with Devi as she was picking her her things from her locker, when Elenor came towards us

oh and yeah, yesterday, Devi found out that Elenor had a boyfriend, without telling her, and she didn't take it alright

and I got to know about this rival of Devi, who was name Ben Gross

like, he even had gross in his name, now I know why Devi hates him

"Devi, I know you're upset, and I wronged you, and I'm sorry, and I don't just expect you to forgive me, so I stayed up all night and I made a photo montage of our entire Friendship set to John Legends 'all of me' " Elenor apologized 

"does it have me? oh, you know what, don't answer that. We don't have a photo together .....yet " I winked at fab and Elenor 

"it's all good, I forgive you" Devi shrugged

"ok well, with you're permission, I'd still like to play it, it took a long time and--" Elenor was interrupted

"We're good, I'm happy for you and Oliver" Devi said and shut the locker, as we walked towards our next class

"oh, great!" Elenor said, relieved 

"el and I agreed, we won't keep anymore secrets from you, even if the harsh truth puts you in a wheel chair again" Fab said

"well that's not gonna happen, but I appreciate the sentiment" Devi smiled 

"Hey fab! I like you're denim overalls" a small guy, called out, walked away, brushing his shoulders with fab

"Fab, what was that? That was so sexy, did you ask out Alex Gomez" Devi exclaimed

"well it would've been sexy if it came from a sexy person" I muttered under my breath

"well I followed through on you boyfriend plans, and yeah, Alex and I are going to Wetzel's Pretzel's this weekend" Fab said casually

"oh my god, I'm so happy for you Fab, and what is this boyfriend's plan?" I asked, raining my eyebrows

"this is a plan made by Devi, in which we all have to get a boyfriend this year" Elenor smiled at me

"oh right" I looked at Devi with raised eyebrows

I looked at the clock, and saw that class was starting in only 5 minutes, I quickly checked if I had every book I needed, and saw 1 book was missing, as the trio kept talking about someone named, Paxton 

"guys, you all go ahead, I will be right back " I told them and went back towards my locker

I opened it, rummaging through everything, and found the book 

I closed the locker, and turned to right, almost bumping into the next locker

I looked up, and saw a boy with black hair

"oh, hi" I said, as he turned towards me

"heyy!" he said, closing his locker and leaning on it

"I'm Priyanka Vishwakumar , Devi's cousin/sister" I told him, extending my hand for him to shake 

he took my hand, and introduced himself

"I am Hardin Daddario, and you are very beautiful" He said, sliding his thumb over my hand, I blushed hard, when suddenly, the bell rang

I quickly took my hand out of his, and said

"nice to meet you, my class is starting, see you" I smiled at him and went towards my class

after the class was finished, I walked out of the premises, when I saw Devi running out from her orchestra class

"Devi where-" I was cut out by Devi walking away, and ignoring me

I walked behind her, and saw her getting into the car with some dude, but by the time I reached there, they were off

Elenor and fab came towards me, looking at the car in shock 

'(daniel) I think what's that about' 

I sighed and looked at Elenor and Fab bidding them goodbye and walking towards home

after like, 15 minutes, I reached there, and greeted Mami, and went towards my room

I unpacked everything, falling onto the bed, and huffing

when I heard a commotion downstairs

I went outside and saw Devi was back, and apparently screaming at mami

"mom! you're being such a bitch!" Devi exclaimed and rushed inside

"yeah, you better go to you're room before I give you a smack" Mami screamed at Devi, as the guy behind her looked terrified

"Smacking is still an acceptable punishment in many minority cultures" I defended Mami, and went after Devi

"sorry we don't have Bagel bites tonight, my mom's super pissed at me, and now she won't make us any snacks, despite the fact that bagel bites, help us study" Devi yelled the last part, as to call out her mother

"you should've thought about you're bagel bites, when you called me a bitch" Mami screamed back

"look, we wanna talk about a different type of snack, Paxton H-Y" Elenor said

"who is this?" I asked 

"the guy Devi went with" Fab said

"oh" I retorted back

"did you guys hook up? is his penis as big as it looks in those grey sweatpants? It's like he's smuggling a pepper grinder in there" Elenor said, excitedly

"yeah like one of those tubes of pillsbury cookie dough, Yum, Yum" Fab said

"it was bad, It's like I talk about sex 24/7, but I don't really know how to do it, in the movies, you always see the girl kissing down the boys body, but then, she moves off screen" Devi said sadly

they talked about some penis and foot, when I remembered, the guy I met near the lockers

"yeah, very sad, anyways, I wanted to ask, do you know this Hardin guy?" I asked the trio

"Hardin Garcia, Hardin newts, or Hardin Daddario?' Elenor asked

"Hardin Daddario" I told her

and then suddenly Elenor squeeled, as Devi and Fab gasped

"Hardin Daddario?' Fab asked, as I nodded my head

"he talked to you? He's like one of the most famous guys in school " Elenor hugged me 

"yeah he did but-" I was cut of by Devi

"and he doesn't talk to anyone aside from the hot pocket" Devi said, her mouth wide open 

"hot pocket?" I asked

"the most hottest, handsome, and sexiest guys in school" Fab said, with disinterest

"you are one lucky girl, if he talked to you" Elenor said, looking at me in admiration

the trio started to talk again, as I thought

'I have to find out more about this guy'
