Void Meets Zella

"Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner 10 points for Chris Argent"

NOSHIKO WAS EXPLAINING THE REST OF THE ORIGIN STORY OF VOID. While she was putting the last of the katana together, she was beginning to finish the rest of the explanation.

"Coup de foudre," was the last thing Rhys uttered as the nogitsune's fly left his body.

"The literal translation is "a bolt of lightning." Noshiko said, as she put the last piece of the shattered katana together like a puzzle piece."In French, it can also mean "Love at first sight."

Which Noshiko had directed towards her daughter and Kira looked back at Scott.

"But a bolt of lightning happens to be exactly what we need right now." Noshiko explained.

"For what?" Kira asked.

"Excising the nogitsune from Rhys' body shattered the katana, but you can put it back together." Noshiko replied as she looked back down at the shattered katana on the desk in front of her.

"Why didn't Zella do it, I'm pretty sure she could?" Kira asked her mother.

"Zella can do it, but she wants you to learn so you can know more about your powers, and not only her I as well, I've kept this from you too long Kira it's time to become who you've always supposed to be." Noshiko told her daughter, as it was nothing but the truth.

"Well, why don't you just do it yourself? I mean you were the one who originally had it before?" Kira questioned, not seeming to get what her mother was trying to tell her.

"Because I'm not a thunder kitsune.... Do you trust me?" Noshiko asked her daughter.

"I just found out you're 900 years old. I don't think I'm ever gonna trust you again." Kira told her mother.

"Trust me on this." Noshiko pleaded.

Noshiko grabbed her daughter's wrist and hovered it above the katana with her palm facing down towards the table. And lightning sparks came out of Kira's hand and sewed the shattered katana blade back together.

In Stiles' room, Chris, Zella, Derek, Allison and Noah all gathered around his table that had a board with chess pieces and sticky notes attached to it with names written on them.

"What is all this? What are these sticky notes for?" Chris pointed as he asked the sheriff.

"More importantly, why is Kate on the board shouldn't she be knocked off the board?" Zella asked not knowing why the sister of Chris was even on the board because from what she knew Kate was dead.

"That's not really important right now Zella," Derek told her as he gave her a 'pay attention and stop causing distractions look'.

Zella rolled her eyes, but stayed quiet.

Noah continued on and replied back to Chris's question. "This is what Stiles used to try and explain to me about all of you – besides you Zella since you apparently just got here," Noah stated.

"Well, maybe it's a message from Stiles, the real Stiles." Allison pointed out seeing if it would connect any dots.

"You poor things, he's toying with you guys. I mean you all have no idea how Void works, but I'm going to let you learn first before teaching you so you won't make the same mistakes again." Zella quoted as she was beginning to get a little bored.

Derek ignoring Zella's previous statement pointed out something on the chess board, "You think there's a reason my name's on the king?"

"Well, you're the king of the kingdom aren't you?" Zella said sarcastically.

"You and my son would get along great together," Noah said, as he had gotten to know the woman a little bit more.

"I can agree with you on that, only if he weren't possessed by Void, but yeah me and Stiles would probably get along just fine."

Noah, now focusing back on the chessboard, replied back to Derek's question, "Well, you're heavily guarded. Though I guess the alarming detail is that you're one move from being in checkmate."

"It's not a message from Stiles. It's a threat from the nogitsune." Chris corrected.

"Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner 10 points for Chris Argent," Zella said in a carnival voice. "I mean come on I knew that from the start, I was just waiting to see which one of you would get it first."

"Zella now would be a good time to let us in on the information you do know," Derek stated facing his friend.

"Fine then I'll tell you, he's at your loft Derek. That's what Void is telling you." Zella told him straight forward.

"And he wants us to come there," Chris added, now following Zella's path of clues.

"Night's falling," Derek stated.

"This couldn't sound any more like a trap." Chris said, looking at all the clues together now.

"I don't think it is." Noah stated, thinking it was his son reaching out.

"I'm going to stop you right there sheriff, you see, I know that ever since Stiles has gotten out of Eichen House he has not been the Stiles you know and love. He's Void Stiles now, whether you like it or not, I'm just telling you the cold hard truth." Zella explained.

"Hear me out, what we're dealing with here is basically someone who lacks motive. No rhyme, no reason, right?" Noah stated.

"Meaning what?" Chris asked.

"Our enemy is not a killer. It's a trickster. The killing is just a by–product." Noah explained.

"If you're trying to say it won't kill you guys, I'm not feeling too confident for you all." Zella stated.

"It won't. It wants irony, it wants to play a trick, it wants a joke. All we need to do is come up with a new punch line." Noah said to the group who was listening intensely – well besides Zella that is, she was already concocting up her own plan in her head.

"The sun is setting. Sheriff, what do you have in mind?" Chris asked.

Kira was now looking at a newly put together katana in front of her. Noshiko picked it up and brought it up for her daughter to have. "Go ahead, it's yours now."

"What if I don't want it?" Kira told her mother.

"You need it." Noshiko answered back and threw it in the air for Kira to catch, which she did and also wielded it as a professionally trained swordsman.

"You see? It gives you balance. My power is yours now, Kira. If the oni can't stop Stiles, you have to, the same as I did. Along with the help of an entity." – Zella –

"Why would I need Zella's help, I'm a thunder kitsune, I thought I was the only one that could kill Void?" Kira asked her mother.

"You are, and you can, Zella just permanently ends the nogitsune." Noshiko said.

"But you didn't tell us anything," Scott stated.

"You want to save Stiles? Kill him, that's the only way." Noshiko said, looking at the younger boy.

"You agree with this?" Scott asked Noshiko's husband Ken.

"Sometimes, history does repeat itself, Scott." Ken said truthfully.

"Only if you don't learn." Scott countered back.

"But sometimes even then, fate conspires against you." Ken said back solemnly.

Scott then got a text on his phone, so he pulled it out of his jeans pocket to look at it. And saw it was from Allison saying 'Derek's loft'.

He looked back up to Noshiko and said, "There's a way to save him. There has to be." and walked out of the classroom with hope still filled in his chest.

And as Kira was about to leave to follow after Scott her mother called after her, "Kira" and passed her the katana blades satchel, and watched her daughter leave.

As her daughter left, Noshiko took out her last foxtail, "I'll take it somewhere safe." Noshiko said to her husband.

"That's not what I'm worried about, history has not done well with making children into killers." Ken said.

"These children played their part in it long before, us or Zella came to Beacon Hills." Noshiko said as she looked out of the classroom door.

Noah Stilinski entered Derek Hale's loft and saw his son standing with his back facing toward him.

And Void Stiles turned his head to look up at his father, playing the innocent child.

"Hi, Dad." Void said.

Noah pulled handcuffs out of his pocket, which Void saw. "You want to handcuff me?" he asked with a slightly modified voice that fit the sound of a scared boy.

"If my son is still here, if there's still a part of him standing here in front of me, then he'll put these on willingly and he'll come with me, because he knows I'm here to protect him from himself and from others." Noah said, as he was now standing in front of Void.

And continuing to act, Void raised up his hands for Noah to put the handcuffs on. And as soon as Noah finished putting the handcuffs on Stiles' wrist. All emotion faded out of his face. And looked up at Noah with the most coldest expression he had ever seen.

Taking a few steps back Noah realized, "You're not my son."

Void shook his head and broke out of the handcuffs, very easily.

That's when Allison, Derek and Chris stepped into the loft.

Void chuckled slowly looking at the people who had just entered the room.

Void looked at Allison as she raised a stunt gun to him, but he caught it and yanked it out of her hand. Then Derek came at him half shifted, but Void dislocated his shoulder and smashed his head against a table and threw him into a wall. Chris Argent pulled out his gun and pointed it at Void, which stunned Void to say the least as he slowly turned around to face the Argent.

"Argent, listen to me don't do this." Noah pleaded.

"Why not? I've done it before, werewolves, berserkers. I can easily add a nogitsune to the list." Chris said clearly.

Noah then pointed a gun at his head, "You're not going to shoot my son."

"You said it yourself, Sheriff. That's not your son."

"Put it down, put it down."

"Dad, he's going to shoot me. He's going to kill me, Dad." Void instigated

"Don't listen," Chris said.

"Put it down, Now! Do it! Put it down!" Noah said with authority.

"Pull the trigger, come on — "Listen to me, you put the gun down now! — Shoot me – Dad, — Shoot me! — Put the gun down! — Shoot me! — Argent, you put it down!"

"Strife," Allison uttered.

"Put it down! Put it down!" Noah yelled at Argent.

And the room suddenly got darker.

"That's fine I'll put the gun down but first there's someone who wants to meet you Void." Chris said.

"So we're supposed to just let her handle this, no Dad this is Stiles we're talking about." Allison said, now realizing who wasn't in the room.

Void tilted his head not knowing who they were talking about he thought he had gotten everybody.

"Zella, come on out!" Chris yelled.

And as Chris said her name, black fog clouded in the room. Void didn't see anything but he felt it.

He felt this coldness behind him, he felt like his energy was being drained right out of him. He had never felt so powerless in his life. And as he slowly turned around he was met with a cold hard glare from a woman in all black.

"Hello Stiles or should I say Void, you don't know me but I sure know you." Zella said as she walked closer to him.

"Remember what you said to Scott in the animal clinic when you took all the pain he absorbed, never mind you don't have to remember I'll say it for you." Zella said as she was now right in front of Void.

"Give it to me," Zella said as she reached her hands up to grab Void's face and sucked almost all of the pain, chaos and suffering he had collected in the time he had been here. Black veins rushed down Void Stiles' face to Zella's arm, and into her body.

Void got a little strength to detach himself from her touch, and saw the oni come in the room, he bagged back and let Noah and Chris shoot at them, but he kept his eyes focused on the woman with green eyes who was staring at him attentively as he was making his disappearance.

When he left, Zella finally focused on what was going on around her and yelled, "STOP!" which caught the attention of everyone in the room as her voice boomed so loud everyone clutched their ears with their hands. And the loft shook. Her command also got the attention of the oni, "Leave, now" Zella commanded coldly and as the oni had once came in they left quickly in a cloud of black smoke.

Scott and Kira finally entered the room, seeing the aftermath of what had just gone down in the loft.

"What happened?" Scott questioned.

"I'll tell you what happened, Void disappeared and your plan to trap him was falsified, that's what happened." Zella said as she looked at Scoot with anger written all over her face.

"What does that mean now?" Kira asked.

"I'll tell you what that means, it means I'm now going to play the villain in the story because I've let things go too far worrying about other people's feelings, well no more. From now on don't even bother considering Void your greatest enemy. I AM." Zella said and disappeared before anyone could speak another word.

Zella knew she was being harsh with what she just said, but she wasn't here to make friends, no she was here to get rid of Void and that's what she needed to do even if that meant losing her friendship with the 'famous sourwolf' Derek Hale.

Is Zella actually going to go into her villain arc now, who knows maybe she'll have a change of heart? Maybe Derek will get through to her and ask her for more time? Whoever shall know, till next time.
