"The last race," Artemis says while she leans on the empty seat where Gianpiero Lambiase is supposed to sit.
"It's crazy," Delilah answers, watching the screens. The first practice has finished an hour ago and the second one will start in 45 minutes.
"So, you did join the sport?" Artemis smiles, shooting a glance at Christian Horner. Delilah smiles and nods, "I was actually quite surprised when they offered me this contract."
"I can understand," Artemis laughs, "but more fun." Delilah laughs as she turns around in her seat. Artemis turns around as well, curious to where Delilah is looking. There she sees it, a certain Renault driver near Max's pit box.
"Who does know?" Artemis asks in a soft tone. Delilah scans the pit lane before she answers, "you, Lando, Charles, George, Alex, Christian ... me and Vic of course."
Artemis watches Christian Horner from the corner of her eye, "Christian knows?" Delilah nods and explains why. "Christian is also like a father. For Max, for me and he probably felt safe to tell."
"I'm proud of him," Artemis smiles, "I was not surprised when he came to me."
"He did?" Delilah asks and chuckles, "simply lovely."
Daniel felt eyes on his back and he was right when he turned around. He sees both Delilah and Artemis and smiles widely.
Both Max and Daniel wave at them before they continue to talk. "I'm wondering what they talk about." "Me too, somewhere."
— meanwhile with Max and Daniel
"I didn't know that Artemis knew," Daniel says. Max chuckles as he spots the Mercedes girl near his sister.
"Well, I felt really comfortable with Artemis," he explains, "and I knew she was bisexual. And ... she just understood before I even did."
"How did it feel to talk to her about that?" Daniel asks. "Good," Max replies, "it felt good, if I'm being honest. It felt like someone understood me. Not that Vic or Delilah wouldn't understand but Artemis isn't straight and that made it more comfortable you know." Daniel smiled widely as he understood Max's argument.
"When are we going to tell the press?" Max asks nervously, all of a sudden.
"When you are ready," Daniel says, relaxed as ever, "if you want to keep it a secret, sure. If you want to yell it out, also fine."
"Thanks, Dan," Max smiles and sighs, "what did I do to deserve you?"
"Being a Dutch man with a simply lovely personality."
