WHITE FERRARI

❝I'm sure we're taller
in another dimension.❝

WILLOW FROUD really learned a lot throughout all the seasons that happened in her whole life, mostly the previous year that was full of surprises; bad and good ones, if you ask her. Recovering from it didn't mean forgetting about it, though — it actually meant learning to live with it and not making your life miserable because of it. At this point, Willow could proudly admit that she was finally doing it. With small steps, but she was finally doing it.

Some days had already passed after the incident broke in the baseball diamond, and the girl couldn't help, but repeated it in her mind every time possible. By the memory of the look on the Cobra Kais' faces she could tell that they wanted nothing more than to get the cruelest revenge on her and her friends, so with those days she started being more careful in her own surroundings. Sure, her enemies probably wouldn't attack her in her own house — or would they? Maybe. I mean, after they literally broke into Samantha's house everything was possible, right?

Even with the single, obvious thought, Willow tried to live her own life and not make karate be the definition of it just like it was to the others. She had other, more serious things to focus on. Yeah, she did lose a lot of people in such a short time, but she also got some other ones back, and it was what was supposed to matter, right? She got her friends back. She got Eli Moskowitz back.

Only one thing didn't fit in there — her family. Her dad, well, he seemed to start being more understandable, her mom was still a literal sweetheart, and Charlie . . . he was just different. This time, though, she didn't know whether it was bad or not. And what was worse was the fact that she didn't see the signs. Not at all.

"Dad, I'm going to Blair's!" the girl's voice echoed in the whole house of Sean Froud, the sound of her running down the stairs joining in a few seconds later. Even with the secondhand feeling of emptiness, Willow felt kinda confused when she was met with a complete silence. She thought the man was still home, but got corrected as soon as she stepped into the living room, the TV being turned off, which was unusual.

Sean was mostly home, but as the year started, he was disappearing more and more, never giving up the reasons why. His daughter found it strange, however the rest of their family seemed pretty oblivious. Willow stood between imagining things or actually seeing them. Well, she lived with Sean, so she saw more things than her mother or her brother, right? For now, she just tried not to worry too much without knowing the truth. Maybe he finally found a good job?

She shook her head, her eyes wandering through the room before they fell on the papers that lonely laid on the small coffee table, perfectly collected together. Willow hated a lot of things about her personality, and her big curiosity was definitely on top of it. That was in fact the actual reason why some seconds later she ended up sitting on the couch, and studying one of the papers with her eyes.

A big caption House On Sale was the first thing that made her heart beat faster. The second thing was that it was already signed by someone. Her father. If someone would ask about the moment when Willow felt really conflicted, she would tell them about the past and this moment.

Because no, she didn't know anything about Sean wanting to put his house on sale. She, in fact, didn't know anything. Sure, her parents weren't like they used to be in the past, but did selling the house mean that Willow missed something? Did it mean that the man was leaving his family again? Was it even possible? No, it couldn't be. He told the girl that he's trying to fix things. He couldn't lie to her again — he couldn't do that to her again.

             Or could he?

Sean Froud was a liar, and, like the others described him, a manipulator, so maybe he was playing with everyone again?

Willow felt a lot of emotions, but compared to how she felt when he first left, she didn't feel sad. Not at all. She felt angry. Completely angry.

━━━━━✸━━━━━

DUE TO WHAT WILLOW found out about some time earlier, she didn't hide the sudden change of her mood. Not like she even tried to do so — she knew that Blair Johnson knew her too well to not see it. With that, instead of a comfortable conversation, the two had a whole moment of venting to each other about what was in their minds past some days. And all that while the blonde girl was putting an intense purple colored hair dye on Willow's hair.

Something that they were planning for a really long time now, but finally did it after Blair insisted to do so. Willow found it also a little suspicious, but she didn't question it as long as it didn't have a big matter in her life. And it seemed like it didn't.

"Are you done yet?" the violet-haired girl asked, then loudly hissed in pain as Blair 'accidentally' pulled her newly dyed hair, meanwhile drying it. Willow was quite an impatient person, so she got bored of sitting in front of a big ( covered with a towel, though ) mirror in Blair's bathroom really quickly.

And when it also came to not even knowing whether she looked good or not, she felt ready to scream. This time, she was not even joking. She really wanted to scream her lungs out.

"One second, Wills. Ugh, finally stop moving," Blair huffed in annoyance, and grabbed her friend's shoulders, straightening up her position again. Willow groaned in displeasure, and a grimace tugged on her lips, her being on the edge of stopping herself not to punch the blonde. She didn't do that, though, as her attention was taken by the girl finally unplugging the hairdryer. "Okay, done. Now close your eyes," the order caught the girl out of guard, her eyebrows scrunching in confusion.

             "Do I have to?"

Blair's eyebrows shot up, her nodding her head immediately, "No shit. Of course you do. It's a surprise, remember?"

Willow answered her with an eye roll, "I swear, if you do something—" she started, but the Johnson cut her off straight away.

"I won't. Just trust me, yeah?"

The purple-haired girl nodded her head, and finally did what she was supposed to do some seconds earlier, her green eyes closing hesitantly, revealing darkness all around. She could hear some noise, so she wondered what Blair was doing, and when the girl's hand landed on her shoulder, her breath hatched in her chest.

"You can open your eyes now," Blair stated, and with that Willow opened her eyes, a sigh leaving her mouth as soon as she saw that her hair was perfectly fine. It was a mix of purple and blue. It wasn't straight anymore, and the bang was now curtained. The Johnson girl didn't disappoint once again. "And? What do you think?" she questioned, raising her eyebrows in a teasing way.

Willow smiled softly, "It's— it's cool. Really cool," she claimed, giving a small shrug in response. The Johnson girl jumped in excitement, and hugged her best friend from behind.

"See? I told you it would look cool!" she exclaimed, and she was completely right. Guess Willow really needed to put more trust in her when it came to dying and styling her hair.

The two snapped some photos of them before reality finally hit them, and they realized that their training at the dojo was starting soon. Willow wasn't really sure if she wanted to show up there today — she just knew that the others would still talk about what had happened between them and the Cobra Kais' at the baseball diamond, and that was a pretty uncomfortable topic to her. She knew that the fight was still not over, and it scared her off.

             She was definitely not ready.

━━━━━✷━━━━━

WILLOW AND BLAIR showed up at the dojo a little late as, first of all, they needed to clean the bathroom that was covered with the Froud's purple hair dye, and, second of all, the Johnson's car suddenly didn't want to start working, which made the two girls wait a few minutes until it finally stopped causing more problems and then drove to the location. When they arrived, they were pretty sure about having to do some punishment push-ups, but their mind completely changed when they walked to the place where their team was supposed to be and saw Johnny, Daniel, some man and Kreese standing there, talking about something that they both unfortunately couldn't hear.

"What the fuck?" Blair whispered to her friend, who scoffed in irritation as soon as they approached the four men. Willow couldn't help, but shot Kreese and the man a disgusted look before glaring over at her two Sensei's with confusion in her eyes.

"Sensei, what's going on?" she asked, gesturing with her eyes to the two men, who had mysterious smiles on their lips. Gross — she thought, and stopped herself from rolling her eyes at them both, her mind only telling her that something was off.

Was it about the incident from the baseball diamond? Yeah, probably. Did Willow expect something like that to happen? Maybe. Did Kreese and the strange man look like two pedophiles, looking for their next victims? They really did.

"Thumbelina, Barbie, go back inside, and warm up the group. We'll be back in a moment. Don't go easy on them," Johnny commanded, and the two frowned, but nodded their heads in silence.

             "Yes, Sensei."

The two girls made some steps towards the building the others were at, their faces being covered with questioning expressions that only matched with the shock and surprise that the others face showed. This time, though, Willow was quite not sure if it was about the men or her new hair that definitely stood out.

However, her attention quickly returned to the Kreese man when the words "I expected a lot more from Sean's daughter," left his mouth. Willow clenched her jaw, stopping herself at the right moment from saying something back. He was just saying that to provoke her, but she wasn't going to let him get into her head.

"Dude, who is that guy?" Miguel asked as soon as the two girls walked inside, his disorientated gaze wandering between them. Willow put her bag on the floor and gave him a small shrug in response, not having the answer for his question. "And, hey, why didn't I know about you dying your hair, huh?" he added with a playful indignation, which she only innocently smiled at.

"Well, that was kind of a spontaneous decision. No one knew besides Blair," she replied, ignoring the suspicious look that the Johnson girl gave Demetri. The two had been acting strange ever since she came back to the dojo after her short absence, and so she was close to questioning what was going on.

"That's unfair, you know," the Diaz boy commented with a raise of his eyebrows, but when he got playfully elbowed by Blair, he rolled his eyes and remained silent.

With that, Willow finally decided to start the warm-up, just like Johnny told her and Blair to, "Okay, get into rows! We're gonna start with some easy exercises," she announced, and the others looked at her a little disorientated, but obediently carried out her order.

When Eli passed by her, and stood in the first row, accidentally close to her, a smile spread on his face, "Hey, I— uh, I like the new hue. Suits you," he said, and she smiled at him, causing butterflies to fly inside his stomach.

             "Thanks,"

The two continued smiling at each other before Blair took a place next to the purple-haired girl, a devilish look on her face. While Willow could go easy on her friends, Blair couldn't, "Fighting positions . . . and side jab. Hiya!" she shouted loudly, the rest groaning in displeasure, but then repeating her every move.

This training was going to be really, really long.

━━━━ ✸ ━━━━

A SHAKY BREATH LEFT Willow's lips as she laid on the floor of the dojo along with the others, who got pretty much exhausted by Blair, who still didn't give up, even with the tiredness showing up on her face. The Froud girl opened her eyes and rolled on her back, a loud gasp escaping her lips as Miguel suddenly threw a bottle of water at her, instead of normally handing it to her just like she told him to.

She turned her attention to him, a death stare on her face, "Miguel Diaz, I swear to God!" she warned, and his eyes widened a little. He tried to stop his laughter, but failed when he saw the look on her face, which seemed really comical.

"Uh, sorry, Wills!" he exclaimed, and covered his mouth with his hands, also turning his head to the side to avoid meeting her eyes and making her even more mad at him. She seemed pretty easy to irritate today, and some of the people were really using it against her.

Willow took a sip of her water, and then put the bottle back into her bag, a sigh leaving her mouth. She looked around, and could feel a little weird when her gaze landed on Eli and Demetri, who were talking with each other. Even though the Moskowitz boy switched sides, the trio was never really back together — it was more like Eli's and Demetri's duo right now.

Before the Froud girl could look away, Eli's gaze suddenly shifted to her as if he sensed that her attention was wandering on him. He looked her up and down before he came back to Demetri, nodding his head at something the Alexopoulos said. Willow frowned, and turned to her friends as well, trying not to think too much about what just happened. Eli Moskowitz was really messing with her head, and she did not know whether it was good or bad.

"Okay, everyone fall in!" Johnny suddenly walked inside the dojo, causing everyone to quickly stand up and furrow their eyebrows at the angry expression on his face. Johnny Lawrence could do almost everything, but not hide his real emotions.

Willow lazily stood in the first row, placing her hands behind her back to keep her position professional, "Hey, Sensei. Everything's alright?" she questioned, her voice hesitant from the beginning.

He shot her a single look, giving her a small look, "Yeah. We're going outside, go grab a partner," he commanded, and the two girls, Blair and Willow, looked at each other, already knowing everything without even speaking to each other.

━━━━ ✸ ━━━━

WILLOW COME BACK from the dojo, and felt really disappointed when she found out that her dad was still not home. It made her feel a small déjà vu, because the same thing happened before he left for the first time. In such a long time, she didn't feel as scared as she did today — just the image of seeing her mom and brother heartbroken because of the Froud man again made her want to throw up, and what if it really would happen? What was she supposed to do or say? She really needed to talk with her mom.

Her mom, and then finally check on her brother, who hasn't been answering her messages ever since the small conversation she had with Robby. Did the boy even know about it? How the hell did he even know the Keene? Willow really would like to know the answers for these questions.

But instead of thinking about it, she got completely taken aback by the door bell suddenly ringing several times in the whole building. Maybe she wouldn't be too surprised, because her friends were frequent guests in her house, but due to the weather that was outside, she found showing up at her house crazy.

So, when she ran to the door and opened it, her eyes opened widely in shock, because she, in fact, was not expecting Eli Moskowitz to be the one coming to her house. Maybe some months earlier she would expect it, but not today when things were still awkward between them.

"Loo—," he started, his voice desperate just like his face. Because of the rain that was still outside, his clothes and hair (that was down) were completely wet, so the girl started wondering what was going on.

             "Eli, it's raining. Come inside,"

He shook his head, swallowing, "No, Loo. I— I need you to hear it. I can't wait any longer to tell you this. I can't," he announced, letting a shaky breath leave his mouth. Willow frowned, confused.

             "Tell me what?"

His ocean, blue eyes flickered to her eyes as he took a deep breath, the expression on his face showing as if he was fighting with something, "I just—," he started, but cut himself off to see her reaction. When he made sure that she was listening, he spoke again. "I can't keep pretending that we're just friends. I can't stop thinking about you, and I know that I was such an asshole to you. I know that I ruined everything between us, but being with you . . . I just don't want to be that guy anymore," he added, his voice softening more and more with every word that left his mouth.

The purple-haired girl's lips opened, her face showing a lot. Eli's words definitely left her speechless, which needed to be said after she couldn't come up with any answer. Knowing the Moskowitz boy for so long, she had wished for a moment like that to come someday, but when it finally happened, she didn't know what to say. Sure, he told her that he loved her at Moon's party, but she was drunk and conflicted back then, so today was different. Really different, because right now, she knew that he meant it.

"What do you want to be, Eli?" she asked quietly, her eyes squinting a little. She was carefully watching him grab her hands and link their fingers together.

"I want to be someone who's good enough to be seen with you," he whispered, and the girl's face turned soft as she tilted her head to the side, a small smile on her lips. "And I understand if you don't feel the same after everything I've done to you. I just can no longer ignore how my heart beats out of my chest when I see you smile. How butterflies show up in my stomach when you hug me. How my eyes always find you, even when you're not looking. Because—," he took a deep breath.

The green-eyed girl tightened her grip on his hands and intensively looked up into his hypnotizing blue eyes, reading everything he felt from them.

"Because I love you, Willow." he finally declared, and when he did, the mentioned girl could feel her heart beat out of her chest. Eli Moskowitz loved her. "And it's okay if you don't—," he mumbled, but she immediately cut him off, her hands getting away from his only to cup his face a few seconds later.

             "Shut up."

And just after that, Willow connected their lips together in a kiss that at first took the boy aback. He froze in his tracks, and blinked several times, trying to process what was just happening. His heart was pounding really fast in the moment when he wrapped his arms around the girl's waist, and kissed her back, both of them not really caring about how much they were soaked.

The kiss became even more passionate when Eli pressed his forehead against Willow's, his hands tracing down her sides, keeping a small grip on them. The girl smiled against his lips, her one hand playing with his red hair, and the other one rubbing his cheek. They were in her own world — the one that was about them. And only them.

Some time passed, and when the two finally pulled away, out of their breaths, Willow's green eyes brightened in happiness. "I love you too," and after that, the Moskowitz kissed her again.

They finally did it. After so much time being at each other's throats, and avoiding the tension between them, they finally get rid of it.
