Chapter 03

Getting out on the lockers room area, you tried to cover your thighs and shoulders that was extremely exposed, your outfit was so tight.

"Isn't this a little too overwhelming??.."

You were just checking yourself until Gou appeared on your sight with the same weird grin.

"Your finally done!" she held your wrist and pulled you to the swimming pool lane. "She's here guys!"

The boys attention gathered and was moved to you. "This is very... uncomfortable-"

"HARU-SENSEI! COME HERE ALREADY!!!"

Haruka who was silently swimming on the corner, shifted his head and body towards you both. "Nani?" his cold monotone voice made you feel soft.

"She needs a teacher here!" Gou told him.

With one last glance to you, he just turned his head around with the same expression and muttered, "Let Makoto do it."

Gou pouted to his answer and ran up to him. "No! We need you to do it!" she said as she pierced into his eyes. He just turned his head again, "I don't want to."

"Its fine, I'll do it." Makoto volunteered as he climbed out of the pool on the metal ladder. Gou didn't like the idea but she had no choice. "Aww, alright."

Makoto extended a hand to you. You flinched at his action, "Don't worry, I don't bite. All I'm going to do is teach you how to do the basics and backstroke since its my speciality."

Starting your second thoughts, you just shaked your head and accepted his hand.

"Go (Y/n)-chan!!" Nagisa cheered from the lanes with his towel dripping onto his fair skin to the ground.

Makoto climbed down first on the pool, you did the same thing but you were pretty nervous. "Can you touch the ground?" he asked you.

You let go from the ladder and the metal railings but you just drowned yourself, of course you couldn't touch the ground from how deep it was.

"Oops-" Makoto grabbed your wrist and pulled you out. "Sorry, you didn't have to let go to the railings."

You just smiled to him, your awkward feelings awakening inside you. "I looked so dumb doing that, right?"

"Try to float on the water, do motions with your legs to your hips and balance yourself." Makoto instructed as he held your waist for support.

You did what you were told but ended up looking like a squid drowning in the water. Makoto chuckled inside him.

"YAHH! Stop laughing and giggling! Its not helping!" you yelled to Makoto.

Makoto continued chuckling. "So-Sorry..." he smiled. "Its just too funny-"

Then you slapped Makoto's shoulder which wasn't hard enough but he started swimming far from you. You pouted and swimmed across to him. "YOU BAKAA!!!!!"

As you got near him again, you slapped his back rapidly this time. But Makoto's jaw dropped as he saw you finally floating and balancing yourself in the water.

He teased your forehead with his two fingers. "You did it, squid!" he chuckled more.

"Don't call me that stupid nickname!!-"

"You two act like siblings." Gou babbled as she pulled Nagisa's ear again. "I'm worried if Nagisa will have problems with his ears in the future."

You and the others were just repeatedly laughing until you turned your smiling head to Haruka, who was silently quiet staring at the happy faces.

Your smile faded replacing a thin line on your lips, your eyes met again.

Not until Gou decided to splash you with water using her hands. "Hah! Take that (Y/n)-chan!" then she ran way from you so that you couldn't revenge back.

You smiled to her and just faced to Makoto again. "Lets stop this nonsense and teach me how to do the basics-!" you said.

"Its already time, guys. Lets continue this tomorrow." Rei announced and started packing all his stuff again. Nagisa raced and followed him on his back.

Makoto climbed out and forgot you existed in the pool. "That idiot."

You took steps on the ladder and pulled yourself out from the railings. "Thank god this things existed-"

"(Y/n)-chan!" Gou called out your name, you shifted your head to her attentively. "You and Haruka will clean the swimming pool and everything else today! The early birds gets the worms first!" then just like that, she disappeared like fast wind.

"I'm going to take my revenge on her tomorrow!!!!" you grunted as you start fixing the chairs and tables around.

You were just going to get a mop in the lockers room until you felt a gentle tap on you shoulder. (A/N): ya'll already knoe whats' bout to happen)

Turning your busy head around, Haruka stared his eyes on yours. "You don't need to clean, I'll do it."

You lifted a brow. "Wh-What??? No, I'll help, you don't need to be nice-"

He grabbed your shoulders which felt like soft feathers holding you. Then he traced and lead you out of the area. "I'm not being nice." he said. "Just go already."

Being cold as usual, he just closed the door and walked back inside the swimming area. You were furious.

You took a small peek through the door and watched him. He was just diving in the water again, floating, swimming, all over again and just kept quiet. All you could hear was water splashing and dabbling out.

"What is he even doing?! His suppose to clean-"

Your thoughts were cutted off by a familiar theme sound. It was coming from your blue bag, you opened it and saw your phone beeping.

Running away from the door, you knew Haruka heard the noise so you just hoped he didn't saw you.

Walking out from the school building on the exits. You saw your mother calling you on the phone, pressing the green button, you spoke first. "Hello? Mom?"

"Where are you (Y/n)!? Its already pass five in the afternoon!"

"Chill mom, I forgot to tell you this earlier but I joined-- I mean- I got offered on joining a swimming club so I'll go home like this everyday, well probably, most of the time I am."

"You should have told me last week!"

You face palmed, you just joined the club yesterday. Graying population is definitely increasing nowadays.

"Yeah, yeah, okay. The club is done so I'm leaving right now." you greeted 'goodbye' and shoved your phone back in your bag.

Taking a step forward, you felt someone was beside you. On the corners of your eyes, you saw: Haruka.

"H-Haru?!-"

"You forgot your towel there, and I think you misplaced it with my towel."

An embarrassing feeling climbed into your veins. "I-I did?! Sh*- I'm sorry! I didn't know!" you opened your bag and grabbed out a blue towel that was suppose to be in the color violet.

"I used this towel, didn't I?! Damnit!-"

Haruka grabbed the blue towel and gave back your actual towel. "I know you used it." he folded his blue towel properly while speaking.

"I'm-I'm so so so so so sorry!! It won't happen again! I swear!-"

"Its fine. Besides, now your going to smell like me for now on." he chuckled, hiding his smile from you.

Your face paled, becoming more paler as he smiled to you. "I'll walk you home." Haruka offered, avoiding eye contact.

Shaking your head, you smiled softly to him. "You don't need to!" he was about to say something else but you just ran away and yelled: "Bye Haru! See you tomorrow!"
