"Dr Pinder-Schloss, will you be staying with us too?" Morticia asked. "No, no. I must be going. But I will be back, you can bet, to be checking on Fester's adjustment," Dr Pinder-Schloss replied to her before sighing, "However, it may be good to have another outsider to help Fester with his adjustments so that he isn't alone." Lillith bit the inside of her cheek, she had a feeling that her grandmother would incorporate her into the plan somehow but she wasn't sure how they would trust this. "You know, I think it would be a good idea for Lillith to stay and help. She's had experience with this kind of stuff before," Tully spoke up causing Lillith to look at him, he raised a brow challengingly.

"Oh, yes. I would be delighted to stay and help Fester adjust to his family again," Lillith expressed with a polite smile on her face. "You're not seriously going to leave this poor girl here, are you?" Margaret asked incredulously, she couldn't believe how eager her husband was to drop the girl into this chaos. "What?" Tully questioned her before looking back at Lillith, "She doesn't mind, do you kid?" Lillith shook her head, sending a reassuring smile to Margaret who frowned but said nothing more. "If it isn't a bother?" Tully questioned Morticia and Gomez. "Oh, she wouldn't be a bother at all. It'll be nice for the boys to have someone their age around," Morticia assured them.

Wednesday perked up at that, he was curious about the brunette and if she stayed, it would allow him to learn more about why she seemed to capture his attention. "Well, then it's settled," Dr Pinder-Schloss said with a kind fake smile resting on her face. "Nobody gets out of the Bermuda Triangle, not even for a vacation," Wednesday spoke up from where he stood close behind the armchair that Lillith was sitting in, "Everyone knows that." Lillith raised a brow as she looked up at the boy, his eyes were narrowed and dark with suspicion and distrust.

"Oh, my little bundle," Dr Pinder-Schloss cooed making Lillith cringe as the woman continued, "So much you don't understand. The human spirit, it is a hard thing to kill." Dr Pinder-Schloss' eyes landed on Lillith for a moment before looking back at Wednesday however, the boy noticed the subtle glance and tensed with heavy suspicion burning through his body. "Even with a chainsaw," Grandmama cut in making Lillith chuckle, she noticed the looks on Tully, Margaret and Dr Pinder-Schloss' face and coughed to cover the laugh but the Addams' members smiled fondly at her; Wednesday smirking as he looked down at her.

After collecting her bag from the Alford's car, Lillith was encouraged to follow Wednesday up the stairs of the Addams home towards a door that had the silver decoration of a rose on it; something different to the cross she had at the Craven household. Wednesday opened the door to reveal a room that was bigger than her own, it had a single bed in the middle of the room with your average drawers and wardrobe in the space. There was a desk in the corner and the bedside table had a lamp in the shape of a skull, the darker tones were more comfortable than her room back in the Craven household.

"Is it too much?" Wednesday spoke as he leaned against the doorway, he assumed the girl wouldn't be a fan of their family's home. "No, it's perfect," Lillith replied as she placed her bag on the bed, she turned to him as he was looking around the room. "I just thought that maybe this wasn't your style," Wednesday expressed, he wanted to know more about her. "Oh, well, it kind of is. I mean, I like darker colours but Maroon and Violet are colours I adore too," Lillith told him with a soft smile, she let her eyes take in the room while Wednesday stared at her. Those colours seemed to make sense for the girl, he would be willing to look out for any of those colours in the attic.

"If you need anything, my room is across from yours," Wednesday said with a bow of his head, "I shall leave you to settle." Lillith locked gazes with him, she tilted her head slightly as they stood silent just admiring each other's eyes. "Thank you, Wednesday," Lillith said after a moment of silent admiration, her saying his name made a shiver span down his spine. "My pleasure, Lillith," Wednesday replied, a shiver coursing through Lillith from the slight Italian accent that she heard when he said her name. Wednesday closed the door as he walked out, he stood there for a moment before making the short few steps to his own room.

With his closed door behind him, Wednesday leaned back against it and closed his eyes as the burned image of Lillith seared into his brain. He opened his eyes and looked around his own room, the very large bed that sat in the middle of the room and then to the desk that sat to the side, a typewriter sitting with a project that he had been working on along with a shelf of books he enjoyed. Wednesday's mind kept trailing back to the strange feeling he had upon seeing Lillith for the first time, even her name stood out to him in a way he adored. His father would have answers but that would be a conversation for tomorrow.

Lillith had changed into some fluffy maroon shorts and a random oversized shirt before climbing into the bed. With a satisfied hum, she snuggled deeper into what felt like a cloud and wrapped herself up in the warm blankets. She hadn't felt such peace in years and she knew it was 'cause she was away from her grandmother but the bad thoughts of her only remaining family made her feel guilt. She just hoped that their plans work and the woman truly lets her have her money and her freedom otherwise she was wasting her time. Maybe she should just run away while she's staying with the Addams'.

Fester was in his room unpacking his suitcase, he pulled out a chainsaw and started to put it away when Morticia entered the room. "Unpacking?" Morticia asked him as she stepped closer, "Let me." Fester's eyes widened at that, "Oh, it's alright. I can do it." However, Morticia was already pulled stuff out of his bag. "Crowbar," Morticia pulled out the item and Fester watched her fearfully as he snatched it away from her. "Dynamite," Fester snatched that out of the woman's hand as well. "Cyanide," Morticia turned to Fester with a smile, "Fester. . . As if we'd run out." She handed the bottle back to him, "Goodnight." She left the room, shutting the door behind her.

Fester approached the door, listening to her walking awat before he opened the door and came face to face with Wednesday. The boy raised a challenging eyebrow and Fester cowered slightly under the dark manic gaze of his nephew. Fester closed the door before hissing, "Nosy little brat." Wednesday held heavy doubts about his uncle but he had no way to prove anything so he'd collect evidence as he went. Though he may have a side distraction, as proven when he approached his door only to stop and stare at the door across from his own for a moment before he forced himself back into his own room to retire to bed for the night.

Back in Fester's room, he approached his dresser and picked up a photograph of him and Gomez as kids at a place callrd Camp Custer. Another picture had two girls in it named Flora and Fauna. He turned the lights and hopped into his bed which sunk underneath his sudden weight. He closed his eyes for a moment only to open them up when he heard a sudden noise. "Who's there?" Fester said into the silence. The door started to slowly open and Fester reached down for a knife in his boot. Thunder sounded outside and he turned his attention to the window which broke allowing a breeze to nearly blow his candles out.

Fester sat up in fear and out of nowhere, Thing appeared on his knee making Fester shriek in fear. In Gomez and Morticia's room, the two were laying in bed when Fester's screams echoed throughout their home. "My own dear brother. I've got goosebumps," Gomez said to his wife, a grin on his face as he felt complete peace. "I know," Morticia replied though she held her own suspicions about Fester, she wouldn't voice them as she didn't wish to upset her beloved. "Screams in the night. . . It can onlh mean one thing," Gomez expressed. "He's home," Morticia finished with a smile.

Woken with a gasp, Lillith sat up and looked around before she calmed herself down and pulled her knees to her chest. She would often have unpleasant nightmares that woke her in the night, flashes of red mist and screams of terror but the girl wasn't sure if it was her mind messing with her or possibly memories trying to surface. After an attempt of trying to fall asleep again, Lillith got out of bed and slipped her feet into her flats before walking out of her room and down the stairs. The house felt so different at night, it was calm and comforting as she slowly walked through the home.

The storm had passed and Lillith made her way outside, she headed towards the graveyard and began walking along the path slowly looking at the names on the graves. An angel statue above a woman's grave, Elnina Addams watched as she walked by her before smirking at the sight of the person following behind her. Lillith stopped by a large willow tree, it was the only tree with leaves but they were a dark colour and below them were small flowers across the ground. Lillith admired the tree, her mother loved willow trees and naturally, Lillith adored them too.

"You should be careful wondering around at night," Wednesday's deep tone startled the girl, she turned around to see him standing behind her. He wore black plaid pyjama pants and a black shirt along with a large overcoat to protect from the cold, something Lillith hadn't thought of when walking out of the home. "I, uh. . . I couldn't sleep," Lillith replied as she leaned back against the tree, she crossed her arms against her stomach. "Is it the house?" Wednesday asked as he stepped closer, surely to outsiders, the home and it's creaks and ghouls would be a nuisance for them. "Uh, no. The house is actually very comfortable," Lillith answered him quickly, she smiled slightly at the relief in Wednesday's gaze.

"Perhaps the ones whom live inside?" Wednesday prodded further, he took a step closer to her again. "No, your family is quite kind and welcoming so far in the few hours that I've been present," Lillith replied to him sweetly, she bit down on her lip. "Could it be something that is on your mind?" Wednesday asked as he stopped a single step in front of her, the space between them was small but still comfortable for respective boundaries. "Well, uh, I had a nightmare that wasn't as pleasant compared to what they usually are," Lillith expressed openly to him, she didn't know why.

"Would talking about it help or maybe just... some company?" Wednesday asked her, he didn't want to leave her alone if she needed the company nor did he want her facing such turmoil alone. "Oh well, I wouldn't wish to burden you in any way," Lillith replied, she never really had anyone to talk too and the times she did with her grandmother, she had been called a burden and a child for worrying about such useless dreams; her grandmother would then shove her medication into her hand and the nightmares would be gone. Lillith had realised that she hadn't bought her pills with her which was something she may be punished for.

"I wouldn't consider you a burden, Lillith. I truly wish to help you however I can," Wednesday assured her, he had read enough romance based books from his mother's collection to understand the correct way to communicate with others; while they appeared spooky and kooky, Wednesday was very in tune with his emotions and with others as well thanks to his mother's teachings. "That's, uh, awfully sweet, Wednesday," Lillith replied, her cheeks flared up with a blush that made Wednesday smirk once he noticed it in the moonlight that shone through the trees leaves. "So, what has caused you to lose out on sleep?" Wednesday asked once again.

Lillith took a deep breath before she closed her eyes and leaned back against the tree allowing the images to play through her head again. "It's starts as me when I was younger... then I see my parents who wave from the car as they drive away, it was the last night I saw them," Lillith began softly, Wednesday was shocked to hear that the girl standing in front of him was an orphan; a part of him felt pity for her loss while the larger part of himself felt attraction. "Everything was fine. Little me is watching television until a faint pain echoed through my chest... then there's this explosion of red mist that flares through the room. I can hear screams... my screams and someone else's... then I wake up," Lillith finished off.

Lillith opened her eyes as she felt cold soft skin against her cheek, she looked up into the dark void she had already came to feel comforted by. Wednesday wiped the tear that fell down her cheek, she hadn't even realised that it had fallen due to her mind being so focused on the nightmare that stirred within her thoughts. "Is it a memory?" Wednesday questioned her softly, not wishing to disturb the peace of the moment with his hand now resting against his cheek. "Some of it is but the red mist... the screams... that's new," Lillith answered him in that same soft tone, "I've had this nightmare before."

"Could it be the real memory showing itself?" Wednesday asked her, his eyes entranced by her stormy blues. "I don't think so... usually when I... nevermind," Lillith trailed off and turned her head slightly, she didn't wish to turn away to far as the feeling of his hand against her cheek felt too good. "I would never push you to tell me your inner thoughts but know that I mean to help you, not judge you," Wednesday reassured her with a gentle look in his eyes. "My grandmother would usually give me medication and it would help but I... forgot it," Lillith told him. Wednesday was silent hearing that, he could see how troubled she was.

Wednesday's hand fell from her cheek, she bit back a whine at the action before blushing when Wednesday grabbed her hand within his own. "C'mon," Wednesday encouraged, he lead the brunette away from the tree and back towards the home. His eyes turned up to the angel above Elnina's grave, the statue smirking his way before nodding her head slightly leaving the boy with a light blush that Lillith did not notice; he was grateful for that. Lillith let him pull her into the home and up the stairs until they reached her room, he told her to wait a moment before stepping into his own. When he returned, Lillith noticed the book in his hand. Wednesday read her to sleep that night, he stayed by her side until she was asleep.
