The next morning, Marisa, y/n and Owen went to school together. Many students were outside the school, waiting to get on the bus for the trip.

As soon as Charlie saw y/n, he smiled and walked towards her, but she tried to avoid him and took Marisa by the wrist and went next to Liam and Carlos.

Charlie looked at her sadly and confused as Sarah walked next to him.
"Problems in heaven with y/n?"
"No"
"I guess it's time to forget her"

Y/n sighed.
"Hey mini Joy, what's wrong? You should be happy, we are going on a trip!"
She smiled.
"Yes Carlos, but the problem is that I didn't want to come"
"You will have fun, trust me"
Marisa tried to change the topic.
"Have you heard that there is a new student?"
"No"
"I hope he is cute"
Y/n laughed.

When they got on the bus, Charlie had given her the seat next to his, but she went next to Marisa. Charlie sighed sadly as Sarah walked next to him.
"Is free?"
Charlie looked at y/n for the last time and nodded.
"Yes..."
Marisa looked at her friend.
"You should be there with him"
"Marisa, he loves Sarah"
"Don't give up"

When they arrived, they entered in the hotel and received room keys. All the students were in the hall, exchanging packs of condoms.
"They are ridiculous" Said Marisa
"Yeah"
Carlos went next to them with some condoms in his hand.
"Carlos, really?!"
"You want one?"
"No!"
Y/n looked at Sarah, who took a condom and winked at Charlie.
"I can't believe it"
Marisa hugged her.
"It's okay, forget about it and have fun, let's go skiing"
"But I don't know how to ski"

After half an hour, she was in a ski suit.
Marisa took her hand.
"It's okay, I'm going to teach you"
Y/n nodded.
Carlos walked next to the two girls with Liam.
"You girls are on fire with these suits"
Y/n laughed.
"Thank you. You two are going to ski with us?"
"No, I need to teach baby Liam how to ski. See you later"
Marisa and y/n looked at each other.
"They are so cute together"
"They will be a couple at the end of the trip"

Marisa was supposed to teach y/n how to ski, instead she started talking with a random guy.
"Marisa, I'm doing right?" Asked y/n and then fell.
"Yes y/n, it's perfect, I'm going to ski with him ok? You are great!"
When Marisa left, y/n sighed.
"Do you need help?" Asked a boy, giving her his hand.
She looked up and snorted, getting up on her own.
"No"
Charlie sighed.
"Why are you mad at me? Did I do something wrong?"
"I'm not mad. I'm just giving you space to stay with Sarah, wasn't that what you wanted from the start?"
"Shawty... Between Sarah and me there is nothing"
"Yeah sure, is that why she took a condom and looked at you with a smirk"
Y/n felt her cheeks burn.
"I- I swear y/n, there is nothing. I just wanted to spend time with you, alone, because-"
"Because you have to make Sarah jealous. But you know what? You did. She loves you and now you can marry her like you wanted, but don't act like you care about me, Charlie. These months were fantastic, I've always wanted to spend days with you because I like you, a lot. I've loved you since we were little, when you held me in your arms and sang our favorite song to me. But seeing you with Sarah hurts me, so we better keep our distance from now on"
A tear fell on her cheek.

Charlie felt his eyes wet. He didn't want to leave her. He wanted to tell her that she made him happy and that he felt himself with her. He loved taking cooking classes, hanging out together and falling asleep with her on his chest, but it was too late. The girl went inside, leaving the boy alone.
"... Because I like you..."

Y/n was sat in the hall, alone, when Liam and Carlos walked in holding their hands.
"Hey, y/n"
She looked at them.
"Hey"
"What's wrong, baby joy?"
"Nothing..."
Liam rubbed her cheek.
"You are a bad liar"
The two boys looked into each other's eyes.
"Why don't you spend the evening with us? We'll stay in the room making face masks and reading megazines, at least you'll get distracted a bit"
She smiled.
"Thank you guys"

The three were sat on the beds with face masks ok.
"Young Leonardo DiCaprio is the hottest" Said Carlos
"No, River Phoenix is"
Liam agreed with me.
"So, you two... Are you a couple or something?"
The boys blushed.
"Uhm, maybe"
"Ah! I love it! You guys are perfect together! I'm sorry I spoiled your evening..."
"Nah, it's okay. By the way, can you tell us what happened?"
She sighed and explained everything from the beginning.

"So you two were dating for fake?"
"Yes but after it was all real"
"I hate Sarah so much. It's obvious that Charlie has really fallen in love with you but she keeps intrude between you two"
"Nah, I don't think he loves me..."
"Really? I see how he looks at you at school or out school, when he posts something on Instagram or when he talks to me about you or when you two dance together. You two have chemistry"
She blushed.
"Now go and clarify with him. Don't let Sarah spoil it"
"You are right. Now I go to him and tell him that I love him and that I'm sorry"
"And then you kiss him"
She smiled and went outside the boy's room.

Y/n walked towards Charlie's room. Took a deep breath and knocked at the door.
"Charlie I'm sorry, I-"
She stopped when saw the boy without clothes, covered with a blanket.
She looked into the room and saw Sarah on the bed, also without clothes covered by the sheets.
"I- I'm sorry" Said walking away.
"Y/n, wait!"
Charlie followed her and took her wrist.
"Leave me alone!"
Her face was covered with tears.
"Please-"
"No! You lied to me, you said that there was nothing between Sarah and you but then you go to bed together. I was not supposed to listen to Carlos, you don't like me and you will never like me, I was just the way to reach Sarah" And she ran away, leaving the boy alone.
