Barry and Haylee changed into their suits and made their way to the building as fast as they could, an explosion sounded as they reached the building before they rushed by the others and headed into the building. Flames erupted everywhere and people were screaming for help, Haylee let out a slow breath as she focused on the energy of people and began glitching them out of the building and to the street below. "Dr Wells, the sprinklers... They're not working," Barry expressed as Haylee began to struggle to locate the energy auras of people due to the flames and smoke inhalation.
"I see that. Just get everyone out of there, Barry," Dr Wells replied to Barry. "No, I can't. I can't save them all," Barry said as he looked at Haylee, she was taking steady breaths but the blue aura around her was fading; a sign that her power was weakening. "Dr Wells, please, what do I do?" Barry asked. "You create a vacuum. Rotate your arms at super speed. That'll create a wind funnel that will suck the air right out of the room," Dr Wells answered. Barry followed the instructions before panicking as the fire got worse.
"It's making it worse!" Barry told Dr Wells as Haylee tried to rebuild her energy to continue getting people out. "Barry, listen to me. You need to move your arms faster. I believe in you, Barry," Dr Wells expressed while Haylee looked up at Barry. "You've got this," Haylee told him with a small smile on her face. Barry spun his arms at superspeed, faster than before and managed to suction the air from the room, the flames went out allowing everyone to leave the building. "Good job, Bar," Haylee told him, he leaned down and kissed her before they watched Captain Singh and Rob reunite.

Haylee sat on the steps outside the room where Barry was changing out of his suit, she was building energy in her hand and watching as it faded out quicker than normal. "Not good," Haylee whispered to herself before looking up as Barry walked out. "Mr Allen," Dr Wells spoke as he entered the room, Barry and Haylee turned their heads to him. "Tonight, at the fire, I saw hesitation. I saw you doubting yourself. Why is that?" Dr Wells questioned Barry. "I don't know. Uh, I guess I was afraid I couldn't save everyone," Barry answered him. "And I was concerned about Haylee," Barry added as he looked at his fiance, she smiled back.
"Right," Dr Wells began, "But if there is anything I have learned in our time together, Barry, it is that the only thing standing in the way of you achieving every goal that you set for yourself is you." Haylee looked down at his words while Barry watched Dr Wells. "There is no limit to how strong you will get or how fast you will go. Everything that you need, you already have," Dr Wells expressed to Barry as Haylee stood up. "Thank you, Dr Wells. You know, I couldn't have done any of this without you," Barry told Dr Wells who smiled.
"I feel the same way about you. And congratulations on the engagement," Dr Wells told them before leaving the room. "I hate this..." Barry whispered to Haylee, she frowned and wrapped her arms around his waist. "So do I but we need to push through and keep fighting," Haylee told him as she looked up at him. "I saw..." Barry began watching as Haylee raised a brow. "Your powers... the way it faded," Barry continued. "Don't worry about me, Barr. It's just the after-effects of the coma and foreign energy," Haylee told him, though she doubted that.

"It's so strange. I mean, I look at him now, and I know that he killed my mom and sent my dad to jail, but, I mean, sometimes he's just so kind in the moment, I actually like him. But you never did," Barry expressed to Joe as Haylee leaned back on the couch with her eyes closed. "No," Joe replied to Barry. "Well, at least now we know how to trap him. In Cisco's dream, he confessed to everything. If we can recreate those conditions, he'll do it again," Barry explained to Joe while Haylee sat up with her eyes open, she did not want Cisco in that position.
"Man, Barr," Joe breathed out as he turned to look at the man he considered his son. "Taking down bad guys, pulling confessions. I'm the cop. I'm the one that's supposed to be doing this," Joe expressed to Barry while Haylee sighed. "Look, if we're gonna get him to confess, it has to be with someone that he truly trusts, someone that he'll genuinely let his guard down with. He thinks of Cisco as a son," Barry explained to Joe. "Or me. I mean, he has some kind of protective nature over me and like Cisco said, I'm a blood donor to his future creation," Haylee added.
"No. Cisco won't agree to that," Barry told her as he walked toward her, placing his hands on either side of her face. "I won't agree to that risk," Barry told her, his gaze was intense and Haylee let out a breath. "Fine. But the moment I think he's in danger, I'm glitching in," Haylee told him with a stern expression. "Well then, we need to do a better job protecting him than I did protecting you," Joe said pulling Barry's attention back to him. "I'm not sure what that means," Barry replied to Joe as Haylee left the room so they could talk.
Haylee fiddled with her engagement ring, she smiled as the door to Barry's room opened followed by him walking in. "Everything okay?" Haylee asked as Barry kicked off his shoes and walked toward the bed. "Yeah, everything's okay for now," Barry answered as he laid down, wrapping his arms around Haylee's waist and laying his head on her stomach. Haylee began lightly brushing her fingers through his hair as they stayed in silence. "What are we gonna do once we've stopped Wells?" Haylee asked Barry.
Barry smiled as he caressed her side with his thumb, he turned his head to look up at her before leaning up on his elbow. "I'm gonna watch you walk down the aisle," Barry told her before he leaned down and kissed her. "And the future?" Haylee asked once Barry pulled away. "We'll find a way, Haylee. We don't know what happens yet but I trust we'll find a way," Barry told her before he kissed her again, Haylee's legs wrapped around Barry's waist and pulled him against her. And their night was one of passion.

"So, Wells set up a fake showdown with a fake opponent who was never really there?" Eddie questioned the others as they stared up at the fake trap. "He figured if we saw both of them together it would prove that he wasn't the Man in Yellow," Barry explained to Eddie while Haylee stood with Cisco. "This all just keeps getting crazier and crazier," Eddie replied while Haylee scoffed in agreement. "I just talked to Dr Wells. He's attending a lecture downtown, won't be back until five," Caitlin told them as she walked in with Jesse.
"All right, Cisco, you know when he gets here, you need to be working on the trap so he sees you set off the hologram," Barry explained to Cisco while Haylee let out a shaky breath. "Hold on, isn't that, in your dream, when everything went all..." Joe asked as he waved his hand around. "Kali Ma. Temple of Doom. Yeah, that definitely happened. But this time, I'm ready for him and Haylee can't glitch in," Cisco expressed while Haylee furrowed her brows. "Wait, what?" Haylee asked while Cisco winced and looked at her wrist.
Haylee looked down to see a silver band around her wrist, she focused her energy and attempted to glitch but nothing happened. "What the hell?!" Haylee sneered while Jesse looked at Barry and Cisco, "I told you that she'll hate it." Cisco stepped back from the death glare on Haylee's face. "It's for your safety," Barry told her. "My safety!? What about Cisco?" Haylee asked, her anger fading into worry and fear. "I'll be here," Barry told her. Haylee looked around at everyone to see if they would disagree but no one said anything, she scoffed before walking out of the room.
