"One more." She ordered after gulping the shot in one gulp. The bartender looks at her in concern, hesitating to make more. "You have already finished one and a half bottles. You should stop." He suggested earning a glare from her. "I said. Give. Me. One. More. Shot." The bartender sighs going to make another glass for the stubborn girl.

She plops her elbows on the table, placing her chin on her hands. "Agh! I wanna get high so badly!" Shadow clicks her tongue, turning around to look at the front. The place was filled with the smell of sweat, smoke, and perfumes mixed creating a weird smell. People were drunk and high—high on hormones or high on alcohol.

While here she was sitting alone. She just wanted one thing and she couldn't even get that. "Horny as fuck!" She says staring at the couples or strangers touching each other desperately.

"Who? You?" She gets startled by the sudden voice interrupting her looking at the front that was reminding her of herself when she was a teenager and happy in her life. "Who the fuck you are?" The boy gasps, his mouth forming an 'o' shape. "Woah! Calm down, lady."

She eyes him up and down and turns toward the bartender again. "I'm not interested." The boy rolls his eyes, sipping the alcohol slowly while enjoying the dance of the almost naked pole girls.  "I'm not as well."

She raises her brows, tilting her head. "Then why are you sitting here?" He chuckles, shaking his head. "Not everything is about you...." He tilts his head, his silky blonde falling to his side. "What's your name?" He questions, wiggling his brows.

"Not your business." She spits, glaring at the bartender. "Where is my drink?" The bartender looks helplessly at the man hoping he would do something. He cackles at his situation, enjoying it to his fullest.

"Cool name. I never heard of it before. Your name is unique 'not your business'." She glares at him. "Well, if you don't want to tell me yours. Let me tell min—" she interrupted him before he could finish his sentence. "I don't want to know anything about you. Don't you understand?" He pursed his lips, nodding his head. "Okay..."

"You can call me daddy, sexy, hot, seducer...anything you want." He winks, biting his lips. Shadow groans, throwing her head back. "I prefer dick." The corner of his lips turns upwards in a smirk. "If you want to. Girls call me that often because mine's big." She chuckles in disbelief. This man was a total asshole and a cocky-ass bitch.

"I'm just joking. Well, if you're not telling me your name then I'm not telling either but you can call me J since my name starts with it."

J smiles but his smile soon becomes a frown. "Why you're hiding your face and also why are you not looking at me?" Shadows inhale a deep breath, trying to calm herself. "Are you trying to hide from someone? Because if you are, everyone is drunk here and no one's gonna notice you. Also, I can't even see in this place because it's too dark—"

"Can you keep your mouth shut for a second?" She growls, trying to keep herself from punching him. "Nope, because I'm kinda drunk and kinda not. Whenever I'm drunk. I like to talk a lot and let myself enjoy myself with no worries." J giggles, his hand covering his mouth.

"Also annoy people." He nods. "That's a part of it."

"I wanna get drunk!" She nearly screams, grabbing her head. "So drink?" Shadow closes her eyes and tries her best to ignore the asshole who keeps annoying her. "Don't you have something to do?" She snapped, turning toward him.

"Yes, I have so many works to do but here I am....drinking," J says as he gulps the shot while squinting his eyes. "Why are you alone?" He questions, curiously gazing at her.

"Because I want to, any problem?" He blinks at her once, twice, thrice, and rolls his eyes. "Rude...." J pouts and turns his head in front.  "Did you got dumped?" He inquired with a frown. "No—" She taps him, telling him to come closer. "I....killed him." J's eyes widen and he looks at her frightened but after some seconds he bursts into laughter.

"You are kidding right?" He claims, his eyes filled with tears from laughing so much. She shakes her head from left to right, sipping the drink that the bartender finally gave her. If that guy wasn't bothering her, she would strangle the bartender to death already.

Soon his laughter fades and he gulps in fear. "Did you—did you..." He interrogated not wanting to finish the sentence. "Why?" A smile lifts her face as she places her glass on the counter and turns her body toward his direction. "Because he was annoying me."

J tilted his head, his eyebrows drawn together in a deep frown. "That's it?" She nods, confirming it. "I hate annoying people....and you're one of them so shoo away before I kill you too." She warns him in a deep and scary tone giving him shivers.

He licks his dry lips, contemplating whether to go from here or not. J pouts and shakes his head. "No! I will not go." She frowns strings at him acting like a kid. "Why? Do you want me to kill you?"

"You're alone...You will feel bad." Shadow's eyes widen in amazement. She just said she will kill him but he still cares for her. She wouldn't lie, her heart was melted. If only someone could have cared this much for her.

"You don't need to. I–I love to stay alone." She tells, trying to get rid of him. "But I don't like to see people alone." Shadow groans hitting her head on the counter. "You're insane." He states as he watches her banging her head on the counter.

"Hyung!" Soon another voice could be heard but this time it was oddly familiar. Shadow lifts her head to look in the voice direction only to find Jungkook panting like he just ran to come here. 

J's eyes lit up looking at the younger. He stands from his place throwing himself at Jungkook and hugging him tightly, cutting his oxygen. "My lovvvveee~" he sang, cradling Jungkook in his arms. While Jungkook tries to get him off because of his stinky breath

"Uh, I didn't know you had a boyfriend." Shadow interrupts their lovely reunion. Jungkook snaps his head in her direction surprised to see her there. "You? What are you doing here? And for God's sake! He's not my boyfriend! I'm straight!"

"Oh, baby~ don't lie~" he trails his finger from Jungkook's cheeks toward his neck while biting his lip. Shadow bites her bottom lip, enjoying the annoyed look on Jungkook's face. "Hyung, next time I'm telling Jin Hyung—" J immediately straightens up as fast as he could.

Jungkook smiles, patting his head. "Heyy! Don't do that!"

Jungkook sighs and grabs his arm, leading him outside without saying anything.

After 20 minutes of Shadow continually drinking. Jungkook comes back, trying to find her in the crowd. He squints his eyes, scanning everything. His gaze fell on someone who was almost going to fall from the chair.

"Oh shoot!" He runs toward her when he finally recognized her. Shadow laughs, trying to keep her eyes open. Everything was so funny to her right now. She was swaying left and right in her place. "God! I told you not to drink too much!!"

She smiles, reaching for the bartender's face. She squishes his cheeks in her both hands and coos at him. "You're so cute!! Lucky you! I'm so ugly." Shadow pouts, sitting back in her chair.

Jungkook bites his lip trying not to laugh at the bartender's face. He looked like he would throw something at her. "Shadow." She snaps her head toward the voice, squinting her eyes. "Who. You?" Shadow points at him, standing up from her place stumbling in between.

Jungkook scoffs, clicking his tongue. "Why does she always forgets about me when she's drunk?" He sighs. "Let's go home. It's enough."

She raises her brows while tilting her head. "Noooo! No home today!....*hiccup*...." A frown settles on her brows. "...they...are bad! They—don't......hehe." Jungkook blinks his eyes in shock. "What the fuck happened to her?"

He stood there like a statue. He never saw her like this. She was a different person. "No!! Don't—put that glass back!" Jungkook warns the wasted girl. She giggles and gives it a light push. "PLEASE TAKE HER HOME!! I WILL BE FIRED FROM MY JOB!!" The bartender begs Jungkook. Tears at the brim of his eyes.

Jungkook didn't know what to do himself. He looked at her and then looked at the glass. "Shadow—please. Don't—" she smirks and pushes it a bit. "..no! Are you a fucking kid!? STOP!" Shadow stares at him with a neutral face but out of the blue jumps from the chair. She pouts and folds her arms near her waist and walks outside while stomping.

The bartender inhales a long breath and releases it slowly. "I'm saved! Thank God! Please go from here...don't let her come in." He begs jungkook with joined hands. Jungkook laughs awkwardly and runs behind her. "....she is....a disaster."

"Shadow! Shadow!" Jungkook whines tired of her behavior. "What the hell is your problem? You're acting like a brat." She rolls her eyes, avoiding him. "Are you giving me a silent treatment?" He nudges her once, twice, thrice. "Okay, I'm going. Sit here whining like a fucking kid!"

He stands up from a crouching position furiously. Jungkook froze at his place when she grabs his wrist. He slowly looks back to find her still in the same position. His expression softened when he heard some sniffles. He sighed and closed his eyes.

Jungkook crouched down beside Shadow who was avoiding him. "What happened now?" He asks in a soothing voice. She shakes her head. Jungkook clicks his tongue and sits in a comfortable position beside her. "What's wrong? You can share with me."

She clears her throat, shaking her head again. "Okay, if you don't want to tell...." She squints her eyes and slowly turns her head towards him. "Aren't you gonna force me?" She questions innocently, tilting her head.

Jungkook would lie if he will say he didn't awe at that. "No." She pouts and clicks her tongue. "But I wanted to tell..." Again, she was drunk but still, she had so much stress and so many worries. Jungkook chuckles when he managed to hear her mumbling in her breath. "No, tell me! If you don't I'm going." 

"Okay! I'm telling." He smiles at her resisting the urge to pat her head and say, good girl. "So, I met him..." Jungkook frowns, squinting his eyes. "Who?" She purses her lips, inhaling a deep breath as a chuckle—more like a scoff leaves her mouth.

"My...my father." An 'ah' leaves Jungkook's mouth. "I know."

"He wanted me to come to his party or I don't know it was something really important. He came to see me after years just because it was related to work. He's so fucking fake! He just wants to show everyone that was a perfect happy family. I hate him....he—"

A loud sob leaves her mouth. No matter how much she tried to control her emotions she always manages to spill. Jungkook doesn't interrupt her, listening to her. Only Jungkook knew how much he wanted to help and hug her. To tell her she got this and everything will be alright.

"I'm sorry. It just—I couldn't control."

"Hey! It's okay. It's okay to cry. Why are you saying sorry?"

"I don't know. I'm just weird..." She chuckles wiping her tears.

"You're not weird. You just have misconceptions."

"I like these misconceptions." Shadow sighs, facing the sky. "I don't know if I should go or not."

"You should if you're comfortable and want to go if not then don't."

"I wanna go—like I want to tell him I'm strong enough to face everything. I'm better without them and I have been living a perfect life without them...."

"...uh...is this a perfect life?"

"No. But I don't want them to know. I wanna do something unexpected that will shock them to the core."

"Hmm.....boyfriend?"

"I don't have one."

"Hey! Am I not your boyfriend?" She glares at him. "I was joking! Chill."

"You better be." They laugh and a comfortable silence surrounds them. Both were gazing at stars but they were in their world.

"Help me." Jungkook's eyes widen as he whips his head toward her.

Hellooooooooo!!! I'm back. 

I'm sorry to everyone who was waiting for this update (no one did it 🥹) there were a lot of things going on and on top of that, my phone broke. I wanted to update from my phone because it's easier for me but if ill have to just do it since it keeps getting late. I apologize again for the late update BUT I'm giving you a reaaaallllyyyy long chapter to make up for it. 

Sorry for the bad aesthetics. I will soon edit it.
