He only loved her in the sun.
  For in the light she came undone,

  With her he knew that he had won.

  The way the warmth danced in her eyes,
  The way he felt between her thighs,
  She never once questioned his lies,
  Until at last the light would die.

But she,
  — She who feared the falling sun,
  Wanted nothing more than to be one,
With the boy who'd hit her like a ton,
For him she'd die and her he'd none.
 
And so she leapt,
Arms wide and begging to be kept.
By the boy who knew no fear,
She held him close, he held her near.

  And still in the night he'd disappear.
