𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝟐

   𝗡𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻. Everything changed the second Susannah Fisher died. Some would like to say that her time was ready, that she left her family knowing they could handle her departure. Others, like the two joined families, would say that life was absolute bullshit. Nothing was fair. Time moved painfully fast. People were left broken and in need of mending, and there could never possibly be an acceptable warning for what life was going to strike you with.

   Nothing could prepare you for the worst heartbreak to come.

   Susannah Fisher, the soul of summer, was gone.

   If there was anything that could tear apart the one family whose hearts were sewn together with unbreakable string was the loss of Susannah. There wasn't much that could break them apart, if not anything. The Coklins and Fishers were one. Now, it seemed as if they were all falling apart slowly, losing grip of each other and being washed away. This was the lowest their family could go.

   Summer would never feel the same. Their family didn't have their glue. There was nothing to look forward to anymore. But, worst of all, their Susannah was gone.

   It wasn't summer without her.
