WHENEVER YOU AND HITOSHI PLAN FOR ANY SORT OF HANGOUTS, something chaotic is always bound to happen. Chaotic things ranging from having a rap battle with a Karen in walmart to running away from the police with shoplifted spicy hot cheetos down your trousers.

Being the goody two shoes you are, as a student representative, along with all the other responsibilities that had been piling up on your shoulders over the past few years, stealing a few chocolate bars had become one on the only things that helps you understand what it feels like to be normal.

Ever since you were little, you received a long list of high expectations from both your mother and the world overall. Those expectations took years of effort and tedious work to accomplish behind the scenes, as they, of course, weren't something an average person could achieve. But some, if not all, would only see such completions as something natural for someone like you to complete, as you were, fortunately, and unfortunately, born in a prestigious household.

Money isn't something you worry about, nor was the social hierarchy. People told you that you're placed above everyone else without knowing why you were there, and you were given many priceless gifts that would only take up more space in your closet.

Many could only dream of living such an idealistic lifestyle, being able to wake up every day without worrying about rent, or having enough food on their plate to have enough energy for work.

What makes such things unfortunate was the lack of parental affection and affection overall. Such parents of these households aren't able to stick around as much. Understandably so, as they have much more important work required tasks to go to rather than attending their kid's graduation. However, they became less of a parental figure, but more so, just someone who has authority over you.

In a way, your mental health and freedom were sacrificed for good grades and public image. You knew your mother did so only for the best, but you can't help but want to be normal for once. You wanted to play with mud pies when you were three, and play house with the other girls at the park. You wanted to participate in parties where extravagant dresses and heels weren't a necessary attire.

Now that your mother wouldn't be able to tighten the leash around your neck anymore, you're sure to use as much of this time to explore as many things as you could.

It had been a while since you both were able to head out. Hitoshi was grounded for a month for the hot cheetos incident, so it was rather difficult for either of you to form and execute any plans. Of course, that didn't stop him from sneaking out, but that's a story for another day.

While you both didn't intend to eat junk food for dinner, especially after you had just made up a whole food plan for your friend to consider, the thought of raiding another convenience store was much more appealing than eating at a restaurant.

The trip itself was somewhat normal, well, as normal as two socially anxious teenagers could be. Emptying the whole snack aisle, a few employees, if not all, were glaring holes through your brains during the entire checkout process. You felt a bit guilty putting the underpaid college students through so much work, so you pulled a Mr. Beast and donated that eleven cents to whatever charity they were giving it to.

That, however, wasn't enough for either of your's entertainment, so you both decided to spice things up a little bit more on your walk back home.

It started with a few innocent truth-or-dares, but of course, when you put two teenagers together, it was only a matter of time before things started going downhill.

"Slap that porcupine's ass with your quirk." Hitoshi whispered.

And so you did.

— — — — — — — — — —

"Did." The blond, understandably agitated teen whipped his head around and glared at you with the most blood-lust, glowing red eyes you had ever seen. "Did you just grow a fucking cactus on my ass?"

Cowards are something you hate with a passion.

You despise those who don't step out of the box and stand up for what they believe in.

Being courageous is admiring, and in your eyes, attractive. That boiling feeling in your guts being directly confronted by someone is scary, yes, but also shockingly exciting.

You haven't been met with such an intense glare since your mother moved away, it was almost refreshing. The vein protruding from his cheekbones, along with the sound of teeth grinding on teeth. It's a different kind of feeling going against those bullies.

Instead of trying to justify their cowardly actions, this boy here is taking back his dignity that you had taken away earlier. He's showing you that he isn't someone to ignore, nor step on.

No, he's demanding for respect.

And boy, that may or may not had sparked something in your heart.

In all honesty, you thought that one simple slap on those cheeks wouldn't turn out to be as intimidating as it is right now.

Maybe a few awkward glances, or even just some ignorant curses under their breath. A hesitant cough redirecting people's attention, anything that would prove them to be inferior to you.

You aren't oblivious; you're fully aware of where you stand and how people act.

Your rather exotic appearance makes people blush with even the slightest glimpse of you. Boys AND girls both shoot out dozens and dozens of hearts poured out in letters stuffed in your shoe locker. To put it simply, anything that you do, walk, talk, heck even breathe will cause others to fall to the ground in sickening admiration.

But that's only the somewhat tolerable part.

Your status of being one of Japan's top hero's daughters attracts power and money seeking people to you like Gabbie Hannah to drama. They just keep coming and coming. Some are more cunning than others, and sometimes, you find yourself falling for their trap too. Many small friends whom you've somewhat trusted always end up in the trash. Those kinds of people don't see you as a person, but rather, a walking VIP pass with a thick wallet.

That's why you love Hitoshi so much. He always says whatever he thinks whenever he wants to; he may come off as blunt sometimes, but you'd gladly take that over playing mind games any day. Maybe it's because he too somewhat understands your struggles, either way, he always made sure to let you know that he's hanging out with you, for you.

No asking for money, or hosting parties at your place. No empty compliments or random outbursts of confession, all is pure and simple, just like how you want it.

This though? This situation that you've put yourself into?

This is about to get ugly. And you're all here for it.

"Pardon?" you managed to squeak behind Htioshi's figure.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" The boy spat. "Are you looking for a fight? 'Cause boy, I'll gladly give you one, you piece of shit!"

When the boy looked down to glare at you, he was met with stars shooting out from your eyes so bright he had to shield his eyes with his arm. Such reaction to his outburst was definitely unseen, even Hitoshi was a bit weirded out by it. Bakugou expected at least a few stubborn tears to peak from your eyes, not this, the fuck?

Seeing that you weren't giving him a satisfying response, he lunged for Hitoshi's collar instead and pulled it down roughly towards him. This caught you off from surprise and finally brought you out from the stance you were in.

You were perfectly fine with him lashing out his anger on you; in fact, you kind of enjoyed it. But if he dares to hurt Hitoshi, you wouldn't hesitate to plunge him six feet under, face-first to satan's bedroom.

Grasping onto the porcupine's shirt, carefully avoiding the cactus you've grown from his ass, you attempted to pull his arm away from Hitoshi's neck. You caught a few sparks coming from his hands earlier, and you'd be damn sure not to risk Hitoshi's pretty face to get ruined. "Hey!?"

"Keep your girlfriend in check you purple matchstick!" He yelled. "Who the fuck lets their girl smack other dude's ass in fucking public?"

Huh?
Was it just the sugar high, or did the boy assume you and Hitoshi are a couple?

You tiptoed and tapped your finger measly onto his shoulder, trying to pull his fuming head away from Hitoshi's face. That proximity was a bit too close for your liking. If you didn't know better, you'd thought the boy was going in for a kiss. And you don't know how to feel about your friend getting kissed by a stranger.

When the boy's head finally turned towards you, with a flustered face, you spoke. "I know this isn't the point but, Hitoshi and I aren't a couple."

The boy's eyes widened, and seeing the red-tipped ears, it was safe to say he was a bit embarrassed he misunderstood. You could see a hint of... relief? On his face that made you feel more unsettled and confused about what's going through the blondie's head.

"At least not yet." Hitoshi mumbled, just low enough for Bakugou's ears to pick up.

Bakugou whipped his head back towards Hitoshi with a new emotion hinted in his eyes. You couldn't see because his head was turned away from you, but Hitoshi could tell very evidently that he was furious, but this time, for a different reason. And he knows very well, why.

An awkward stare off erupted between the two, and you couldn't find yourself to do anything but let go of the blonde's shirt. After a while, a few snickers were heard from passerbys that found themselves to share the sidewalk the three of you shared. You assume Bakugou finally realized he still had a forest of cactus on his behind as he finally decided to release his hold from of Hitoshi's collar and began stomping away.

"Tch, whatever, I need to fucking go." Bakugou grunted.

Feeling a bit guilty, you stepped up and called him last minute. "W-Wait, do you want anything as compensation?"

"Like..." The boy halted and tilted his head to the side, urging you to continue. Hitoshi found the uncharastertic patience suspicious and raised an eyebrow at the motion.

"... a baguette?" You offered, gesturing to the bread sticking out from one of the many grocery bags you were holding.

Hitoshi deadpanned. "How come I wasn't aware of you purchasing a baguette?"

"No, just leave me the fuck alone." He growled, before resuming to wobble away.

those who spoke up for me, thank you. thank you so so so so much. i saw every single one of those comments u left, ( yes, i was updated and saw every reply u guys left before she deleted the comment ) and seeing the amount of ppl that took a part of their day to help someone like me mJISKSKSK. that means a lot.

being completely honest here, i was rlly upset at what she wrote, to the point where my hands were shaking. mdiekdidk

being told that they'd go for my (very non-existent) self esteem as a writer was a first. and ig it was the tone that got to me.

i never wanted this situation to go that bad, i just expected a quick
"oh okay." not a whole verbal attack and witch hunt from the said person.

I won't be surprised if they did this for attention, there's more than a handful of people doing that already on here. But just so you know, commenting on other's account with criticism is okay. But opinions are not criticism. Hate should never ever be written in your books.

If this were to ever happens to you, reach me out. I'll be there for you I swear.

also, i've been seeing a lot of accounts plagiarizing other creator's work. for fucks sake, just create ur own stuff. taking other people's work and claiming it as urs isn't going to do u any good. if you're caught, just apologize and delete the account.
(i say delete so that u won't be continuously getting hate for ur own past mistakes)

anyways, all of this is a exhausting. im 100% sure with her blocking everyone associated with me, playing the victim and all, nothing would come out of this. I seriously doubt i'll ever get an apology, but i have sweet af readers here to brighten my day, so i don't mind.

i dont know how to exactly show how much I appreciate everything, but i am really thankful for u all. Seeing all this support is almost surreal, unbelievable tbh.

Thank you so much for reading
