The older woman ended the intense eye contact, could not carry on the intense gaze that her daughter had bore into her eyes. Ezaki Shiki let out a soft sigh, taking the lack of communication as an answer of disapproval.

"Y/N this shouldn't be hard for you. We've been travelling all around Japan for years now. I am a businesswoman, and it's a routine." She rubbed her nape, eyes turning to read the contents of the form of confirmation to be transferred to Tokyo's facility.

While she was so engrossed in the piece of paper, her daughter's face held the look of the unamused. For the first time in all her life, she wasn't excited. She remained silent, in her mind were full of contemplation.

It had been a cycle. One of every three years; transferring to a new city just for business. It didn't minded the girl too much, for she enjoyed her life as the daughter of a successful businesswoman who gets to travel around the entirety of Japan.
