โช welcome back to mystic falls, boys . . . โซ

Theo rolled his eyes hearing the blonde Original ramble about nonsense. Granted she was new to the 21st century but to say Theo was fed up hearing the blonde rant about how her brother deprived her of a real life. The siblings had been going off on one another since Stefan had left the trio to secretly go see Gloria.

Growing annoyed with the two he sighed standing to his feet.

"Yeah, I'm still hungry so I'll be back in a few. Maybe I'll find some twins or triplets." He shrugged receiving an amused smirk from Klaus.

"I'll come with you." Rebekah perked up looking up at the vampire.

"I think I can find them myself." He said before disappearing through the warehouse's door.

In actuality he didn't feel like feeding, he just need some air and space away from the two Originals. He quickly walked down the sidewalk, the streets weren't as busy as they were during the day time. The occasional sounds were of the cars and buses that drove by followed by families who entered the small shops or restaurants.

He furrowed his brows hearing heels clicking behind him. Shrugging it off he continued making his way to where Gloria's bar was at.

Smelling the familiar expensive feminine fragrance he hadn't smelled in months wafted the vampire's nostrils. Theo came to an abrupt stop.

The sounds seized.

Clenching his jaw he sped the figure into an abandoned alleyway. His eyes now black glaring down at the beautiful Petrova vampire.

"Hello handsome." She trailed her manicured fingernails against Theo's collarbones beneath his leather jacket and white t-shirt.

Theo shoved her into the brick wall harshly stepping away from her.

"I always liked it when you were rough." Katherine mused, a look of lust glimmered in her doe eyes. "Stefan and Damon were always so gentle with me. But you - damn." She bit her lip seductively looking Theo up and down hungrily - as if she had truly been starved for decades like she was supposed to have been in the tomb.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Theo hissed ignoring her comments. "Klaus is here, didn't think you were stupid enough to show your face within a 100 mile radius. Then again you weren't the brightest."

Katherine feigned a pout, "Ouch." She said placing a hand over her chest, "But if you must know, I'm looking out for you and Stefan. Is that so hard to believe?"

"Yes." He said blankly.

Katherine rolled her eyes walking around the vampire tracing her index finger against his broad shoulders. "Well, I am. So much so that I know where Stefan is."

"I know where he is too." Theo rolled his eyes grasping her wrist harshly, halting her movements. Katherine swallowed looking up at the vampire who wore a glare. "So, go bother someone else, kitty kat." He said using her old nickname he had given her years ago.

With that he side stepped the vampire.

Katherine huffed in irritation and sped in front of him. "Do you really think Gloria is going to be an angel and just tell him what she knows?" She asked the Salvatore boy. "No? Exactly. Which means Stefan is gonna need back up. And seeing as how she's a witch who says she can take on two big bad vampires, like us?" Theo rolled his eyes, "So what do you say partner, wanna make a deal with the devil for ol' times sake?"

Theo gritted his teeth laying out his hands for her to lead the way. With a smirk she skipped past the vampire making her way down the side walk, Theo followed next to her.

The two came across the bar. His eyes narrowed hearing his brother's moans of pain. The two looked to one another and nodded speeding off into the bar.

"--she's the doppelgรคnger, and that's why Klaus can't make anymore hybrids." Gloria concurred and chuckled.

"Well, this is creepy." Katherine shrugged from next to Theo who pressed his lips into a thin line. "You're no fun." She pouted at Theo, just as the witch turned around Katherine drove a knife into her neck. "Night, night."

Theo rolled his eyes and helped his brother free from the table he had been laid on. "You got it handled?" He mocked his brother's words he had used when Theo had suggested he confront Gloria instead of Stefan himself.

"So, the Salvatore brothers reuse and reduce ancient jewelry like the women they take it from?" Terra asked Rory as she bit into a strawberry harshly. Rory winced at the girl's words, subconsciously twirling her necklace that was given by one of the said Salvatore brothers. "Sorry. It's just Elena went from Stefan - who in my opinion is the better Salvatore." Rory rose a brow at the strawberry blonde, "What? Okay, Theo is nice to you and just a sarcastic dick to everyone else, wow he's like Damon." She murmured.

Rory scoffed shaking her head, "You're not helping."

"I know, I know, sorry. It's just she went from one of the better brothers to the worse one." She grumbled, "Like, how could you let someone like Stefan go? He clearly still loves her and is doing all this for her protection." Rory listened intently, recalling the vampire's twin. Madison noticed her best friend's daze. "Just like Theo is doing for you." She added softly.

Rory sighed biting into a strawberry tart.

"Hey, dad said we're leaving." Alec said once he reached his sister's side. "Bonnie already left." He nodded to the strawberry blonde who frowned, "We'll drop you off before heading home."

Terra nodded with a thankful smile. "Sounds good."

The three exited the room and out of the Lockwood mansion seeing Elena and their father hovering over a limp body. The three widened their eyes rushing to the front of the home - thankfully everyone had either left the Founders party or were inside conversing.

"Oh my, God." Terra breathed out seeing Alaric dead on the floor.

"He'll be fine." Nathan grunted holding up his best friend's hand showcasing the Gilbert ring.

"What happened?" Rory asked softly looking at her father.

"Damon happened." Elena said in disgust - though she was angry with the vampire she didn't hate him as much as she tried to portray her distaste for the eldest Salvatore and they knew it. Though she was angry he had killed her guardian even if it were for a small amount of time.

"Shocker." Terra scoffed.

"Come on, let's get him to your car." Nathan nodded to Elena as Alec helped his father carry the semi-dead man into Elena's car.

"Looks like you do need us for your diabolical plan." Katherine noted with a smirk.

"Oh. Do tell." Stefan mused.

Theo shrugged leaning against the bar observing the two.

"Well, you must know that Klaus is too paranoid to ever fully trust either of you." She looked between the two, "But the sister, she loves Theo here like it was yesterday." She tilted her head at the vampire who let out a groan. "She's the easier mark. But you can't just pretend to care, because Klaus will know better, so you do the opposite. You both bond with him; make her feel left out. That will only make her want you more."

"Oh! Good to hear, did you hear that brother?" Theo stepped forwards to Stefan who looked up at him with amused eyes. "I'm going to be the male version of our lovely ex here. Boy, this has been a dream of mine." He breathed out placing his hand over his heart.

"Memorable moment." Stefan added.

Katherine rolled her eyes ignoring the two's comments, "The only question is why? I mean, I get it, you both want to keep Klaus away from Mystic Falls, but . . . What else do you both expect to get from it?" She questioned in genuine curiosity.

"You know what's funny? You keep talking to us like we actually trust you enough to tell you anything."

"Oh, come on, we're beyond that." Katherine let out a groan of annoyance. "If I didn't call Theodore here, you would still be trapped by Hilda the high voodoo priestess."

Stefan glanced to Theo who nodded with a sigh.

"Ok. We know them, back in the twenties. They were running from someone. Someone who scared them."

"The hunter." Katherine noted. "I heard stories about him centuries ago."

"Don't you wanna know why an Original not one but two who can't be killed, are terrified of one measly little hunter?" Theo questioned stepping forwards standing next to his twin.

Katherine's eyes gleamed with confidence and desire, "If you two are planning on making a move against Klaus . . . I want in."

"That's good." Stefan nodded, "It's good to want things, Katherine."

"Stefan--"

"Katherine." Stefan mocked, "If you're looking for a diabolical parter in crime, I suggest you look elsewhere. I'm in this alone." He said carrying the witch's dead body.

"Theo." Katherine wore a pleading look in her doe eyes.

Theo shook his head pressing his lips into a thin line, "Goodbye, Katherine."

And with that the twins left the Petrova vampire alone.

Theo gnawed on his lip as he recalled Stefan's and his plan on the way back to the warehouse. He sighed in annoyance, but nonetheless listened to his brother.

Maybe it was stupid of him, but he was torn.

And once a Salvatore had their mind set on something, it wasn't a piece of cake trying to change it.

"You really think she wanted to help us?" Theo asked with a grunt helping him toss the witch's body in the dumpster.

Stefan sighed, "Since when does Katherine want to help anyone but herself?" He asked.

Theo shrugged.

"Hey." Stefan grabbed his brother's forearm glancing around the alleyway. "I meant what I said; doing this on my own."

"Stefan--" Theo began.

"No, I mean it. If by some miracle we get out of this and we can go back to Mystic Falls, I want you to focus on Clara. I know Damon will take care of Elena, just keep your mind on her. I'll deal with Klaus." Stefan stated.

Theo shook his head in disbelief, "Are you joking? Did that witch screw with your damn mind, Stef? I'm not going to just leave you to take care of . . . Two immortals who can't be killed." He hissed.

Stefan smiled sadly, "Just trust me."

"Why?" Theo asked with a frown.

"I made you and Damon turn. Damon left, but you stayed behind. Whether it was a twin thing or just brotherly instincts. You stayed. You helped me, protected me. You and Lexi. We lost Lexi already, I can't lose you too. I can't lose Elena, Damon and even Clara." He admitted, "And I can't even imagine what you'd go through if you lost me or Damon. Or Clara." Theo's eyes softened at his brother's words. "Just promise if we go back, you'll keep her safe. You'll let me do this on my own. I need to do this, Theo."

Theo chewed on his lip looking at his brother.

"You're back." Rebekah's voice rang through Theo's ears snapping him out of his thoughts. "Finally." Theo nodded glancing at the coffin next to him then to the blonde. "Nik went to check on the witch. Dreary, isn't it?" She asked walking closer to the vampire.

"What?"

"The family cargo." She explained.

Theo furrowed his brows, "Why don't you undagger them?"

"Because he would hunt me down and kill me." Rebekah stated as a matter of fact. Theo's eyes softened at her words, "He's a vindictive little bastard, my brother."

"I could never imagine doing that to my siblings." Theo admitted.

Rebekah smiled softly, "And that is what I always admired about you." She said taking a seat on the coffin, Theo cringed slightly as he followed her movements. Silently apologizing to the semi-dead Original who laid beneath him.

Theo hummed, "I don't know, I just - I wouldn't feel right knowing my brothers were trapped inside of a box and I could easily help them. Family is family. Even if they do exhaust you at some points." Rebekah parted her lips at his words. "Like being on the run?" He casually asked.

"What do you mean?" Rebekah asked.

"Well, uh, the last time my brother and I saw you, there was a man looking for you. You both seemed so afraid. I just -- I wouldn't think Klaus would be afraid of anybody." He shrugged.

"No one in this world is truly fearless, Theodore." She said softly, "Not even Niklaus."

Theo nodded his head, "I understand. It's just strange."

Rebekah frowned; a part of her wanted to tell him everything, have someone to open up to other then her brother. Though, there were numerous things she couldn't tell him but with Theo it felt so easy. Like she could tell him anything.

Shaking her head she stood up, "We shouldn't be talking about this."

Theo stood up quickly, "I'm sorry I asked, Rebekah." He said softly.

Rebekah looked up at the vampire's emerald orbs and frowned, "He told me about the girl you loved. The one you left." Theo swallowed avoiding her eyes and nodded slowly, "He also told me that you're only with him is because of your brothers."

Theo nodded, "Yeah."

"I think he admires that about you as well." She smiled, "He to would sacrifice anything for family. Don't tell him I told you that." She whispered.

Theo chuckled, "Promise."

Rebekah grasped his wrist and pulled him into her attaching her plump lips against his own. Theo's widened his eyes but nonetheless relaxed in her hold.

He cringed at gesture, but reminded himself of his brother's words.

He placed his hands on her hips squeezing the surface. Theo pulled away breathlessly as he looked down at the blonde Original who gazed up at him.

"Do you think you'll ever fall in love with anyone like you did for that girl?" She asked.

Theo steadied his heartbeat and nodded, "Maybe."

Rebekah smiled falsely, placing her hand against the vampire's jawline. Allowing her thumb to trace his bruised bottom lip. "I can always tell when you lie, Theodore."

Theo swallowed, "I'm not--"

"Don't bother. Your kiss already gave you away." She stepped away from the vampire.

"Gloria's gone." Klaus' voice rang through the room following by Stefan Salvatore who looked between the two. Seeing the look on his brother's face and Rebekah's he figured things didn't go quite as planned. "She's cleared out. We need to find a new witch immediately. What's going?"

"Something's wrong. He was asking about Michael." She answered, Theo glanced to Stefan then to Klaus. "They aren't with us, Nik. I can sense it."

"She's wrong. Klaus--"

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

Theo groaned rubbing at his neck sitting up. "Dick." He muttered. He furrowed his brows seeing Stefan looking around them frantically and a smirking Klaus Mikaelson across from them. He looked around their surroundings to what looked like to be the back of a truck with his families caskets. "We can explain."

"No need. I'm not mad, I'm just curious. Rebekah seems to think you two hold onto something. Now, with Theodore I already guessed it has to do with that gorgeous huntress. but you, Stefan. So I thought I would check it out. See for myself what it is you've been hiding, both of you." Klaus mused.

Stefan sat up worriedly.

The two brothers sat up squinting as Klaus listed the trailer's door up allowing the bright sunlight into the truck.

"Welcome back to Mystic Falls, boys."
