' I can't tell Jin hyung..he won't be able to hide his happiness and Joon will know instantly' Jungkook sighed taking the scroll back' I can't let him know now.... I have never told you but am also scared.... I have been scared since the moment I saw my appa eomma and him in that fire... I am scared of loosing people whom I love and I can't loose Tae... Eunwoo frowned sadly ' What are you going to do now?'

' Joon needs his revenge and I need my love... Let's play along till I get my Tae to myself....' Jungkook sighed ' If I had told Joon about the truth and if he had understood me then he would have dropped the plan..'

' No' Jungkook replied ' Joon dropping the plan means.. abandoning Taehyung... He might get ready to leave his revenge but he still won't be ready to accept his enemy's son as my mate...until and unless he himself see how Tae really is and for that Namjoon must go to Alwarak... Also... Jungkook was pacing around the room... His wolf howled in happiness as finally his and Taehyung's wedding is fixed... They were back from Alwarak and Jungkook was on cloud nine... But he was still scared about Namjoon.....His thoughts broke when he heard a knock on the door

'You sent for me?' Eunwoo asked walking in

' Woo...am getting married to Tae'

' Isn't that a good news?' Eunwoo asked confused seeing the frown on the prince

' Because it's a secret' Jungkook said seriously and Eunwoo just wanted to hit himself with something for being friends with such a creature

' Ok ..tell me...how did the meeting with Taehyung go...I mean for Joon hyung' Eunwoo asked

' It went way too well..and he probably by now has a soft corner for Tae... Can't blame him.. my Tae is so adorable.. anyone will be head over heels for him' Jungkook said nodding to himself

' Whipped' Eunwoo scoffed ' Anyways You sure about what you said about Joon hyung Kook?'

' Oh I am..and to strengthen it there is one more reason' Jungkook said excitedly ' Turns out that Taehyung is Joon's cousin brother'

' The hell?' Eunwoo spat ' Woah now this is really twisted'

' I know...but the thing is... I want to check whether Joon still want the revenge...'

and saw Namjoon and Jin discussing about something...and listening to them Jungkook got a faint idea that Namjoon definitely is rethinking his decisions

Jungkook saw the mates nod again as he walked out

Jungkook groaned as he walked towards his Arcane Why did Joon just nod his head...as if he just agreed to me...oh no no..Joon we don't need the revenge..oh god... What will I do now? Eunwoo looked at the broken male... Jungkook and Jin had an argument regarding their revenge and the fight just heated up leading to Jungkook loosing his control and his powers coming out ( refer chapter 19 for the fight between Kook and Jin)

' Kook...it was an accident' Eunwoo said softly

' I almost killed my Jin hyung again... ' A tear fell from Jungkook's eyes ' If Joon hadn't pulled Jin to himself.. anything would have happened to him.... How will Tae survive with me Eunwoo? How can I be assured that Tae will be safe with me...'

Eunwoo struggled to find the right words to make Jungkook understand that it's not his fault when the said alpha again spoke up

' May be That's why Hoseok hyung said that we don't need another Icarus'

' Hoseok hyung' Eunwoo chirped up ' You have a new friend? Yaa!! I thought I was your one and only friend...am offended' Eunwoo shut his mouth when he saw the done look on the prince

' You have met him?' Jungkook asked puzzled

' I have...' Eunwoo sighed ' Anyway... What he wanted you to see was...when Icarus got the wings of wax...the first thing he did was to fly towards Apollo..or as we say to the sun... And what you have to understand here is... Apollo never betrayed him.. because Icarus knew what he was doing... He was not a fool to not know that the closer he get to his love...the less is his chance of survival... The world might say that Apollo cheated him....played with him...but Apollo too yearned to be with someone whom he was not allowed to. It depends on from whose perspective you are addressing a situation...

Jungkook... You also know very well that in the end you will be hurt... If Namjoon accepts the truth then your fear for hurting Tae will pain you...and if Joon carry on with his revenge..then seeing Tae suffer will hurt you...'

Eunwoo paused for a second before continuing ' You are like that Icarus..who became the happiest when he was with his love..even if that was for a short while.. but Kook... Taehyung is no different than the betrayed Icarus about whom the world talks about... He is getting betrayed in a way... You might love him with your everything..but you are hiding your biggest truth from him... When Hoseok hyung said that Alwarak nor Mirawik need an Icarus ..he meant the both of you... So take each your step carefully... It might take years to build up the trust and love between two people..but it just takes some mere seconds to break them... '

Eunwoo stood up walking out but not before saying 'Its the red string of fate that binds two souls together Kook..but once the thread is severed no matter which life you are...which universe you are in..no Force no miracle could ever bring you together'

Relief spread over him at the sight of his hyung...It was the morning of the wedding and Jungkook was in his chamber finally deciding to tell the truth to atleast Jin and ask his help in talking to Namjoon... The talk with Hoseok at the temple the same morning did wonders to him ( chapter 20)

' Jin hyung' Jungkook rushed towards him but a hand was held out even before he could step any closer.. making him halt in his steps

' Stay back' Namjoon growled

' Joon?' Jin frowned seeing his mate ' What are you doing?'

' I can't let you get hurt' Namjoon said... ignoring the way Jungkook's face paled

Hurt him? I could never hurt him intentionally Joon...

' Shut up Joon..' Jin snapped

' Jungkook.... I know you won't intentionally hurt him... But...am sorry.. we should be careful' Namjoon said looking straight at the alpha prince

' It's fine hyung' Jungkook nodded ignoring the pain in his heart Its fine...after all hurting others is what I have always done.... How will my Tae survive beside me

' Joon stop over reacting...it was an accident and it was not the first time right' Jin reasoned out

' Enough' Jungkook's said... His breath raging

' You saw the Taehyung who says a million I love yous everyday to you..but once he sees your real face..the same Taehyung will say how much he hates you..and one day you will end up hurting him!'

' I won't!' Jungkook yelled' I won't hurt my Tae'

' Everytime Taehyung will say that he loves you... remember this Jungkook...' Areum stepped closer ' That The day is not far when you will become the reason for his death...when you will see him dying in front of you just like your Eomma Appa and him...'

His wolf struggled to be left free.. howling in agony as Areum's words pierced through his heart... The cruel words bringing back the memories of that damn day that changed his life... Even while he was making love to his Taehyung...his head was filled with Areum's words... He tried to forget it as he explored his mate... loving every inch of him...all the while trying to suppress his Wolf and  just as if to add to it... Taehyung whispered to him as he fell back into the bed

Painful screams and agonizing wails filled his mind.. numbing his senses as the image of his dying parents blinded him... His mind grew weak as his wolf took over...overpowering him... He heard the cries and begs of the omega under him... pleading him to stop..but his wolf was more powerful and berserk now...as the cries of the omega reminded him of the cries of the Mirawikians who were burnt to death.... Jungkook struggled to gain back control over his wolf and by the time he was back to his senses it was way too late.... His world stopping as he saw the bloodstains on the bed...and the pained face of his unconscious mate...

What have I done Jungkook stumbled into the bathroom... plopping under the shower as he cried I promised to never hurt him... What have I done Oh goddess He hit the wall till his hands bled...his heart tearing off into a million pieces as the realization hit him that he did hurt his Taehyung

Taehyung had his arms wrapped around the alpha..who by now was a sobbing mess as he told his story

' T-that day Tae..when you saw Areum leaving my office..she..' Jungkook chocked on his sob as he continued ' She came there to mock me..sa-saying that she was right when she said that I'll hurt you..she said that she saw the wound on your hand while you were with Yeonjun in the nursery... I was drowning in guilt and decided to stay aw-....stay away from you so you'd be safe...'

Jungkook raised his head as he looked at the tear stained face of his mate ' I never wanted to ignore you Tae...But I was too deep in guilt that I felt it difficult to meet your eyes... I was so ashamed of myself that I left before you wake up... fearing to see the hatred in your eyes for me for hurting you...I felt like dying and finally decided to tell you all the truth and let you decide the rest on the day of coronation... I was coming to you after the ceremony when Namjoon stopped me... He...he told many things which he shouldn't have... I was already in guilt and pain and what he said ticked me off... '

Taehyung flinched when Jungkook suddenly took hold of his hand ' Taehyung... Taehyung Trust me ... trust me when I say-'

' Koo relax' Taehyung's heart broke seeing the state Jungkook was in now....the painful wails piercing through him like silver arrows

' No..li-listen..' Jungkook begged as he sobbed ' Trust me when I say that... What-whatever you heard that day was not the truth... I was angry and I just wanted to provoke Namjoon...it had no other meaning.. Taehyung I could never kill you... scratch that I could never even see you hurt ... I wanted to tell you everything...I wanted to love you... wanted you to hug me..kiss me till I forget all the pain..I wanted you to hold me close till I heal.. I wanted you to love me Taehyung.. I love you so much that it hurts...it hurts to even think of breathing a second without seeing you... I love you Taehyung.... please trust me... I can't see you hate me... I-'

' Jungkook' Taehyung cried out ' Look at me.. please' He cupped his cheeks... ' I love you....I love you so much my Seraphine'

Jungkook cried more hearing that name...oh how much he missed it

' I love you Tae'

Taehyung couldn't hold back anymore as he pulled the alpha close as he joined their lips.. moving it harshly against the elder's pillowy ones.. Taehyung bit his lips aggressively making the alpha gasp in pain... Taking which as an opportunity he slid his tongue in exploring the warm cavern of his mate

Jungkook could feel the pain..the love..the care and all other unsaid emotion in that kiss as he closed his eyes letting Taehyung do whatever he wants

Taehyung pulled back when he felt his lungs burning 'I forgive you....You were so in pain all along... Even though it was me whose heart was broken.. it was you who bled... Even though it was me who was fighting with death..it was you whose heart stopped... Even though it was me who was in the cold... it was always you who needed the warmth'

' Jungkook.... you have suffered enough for a life time and now...I promise you that all those who even thought of hurting you will suffer... I will make each and everyone one of them beg their forgiveness... I will show them who the real Merikh is'

' Tae' Jungkook breathed out

' I will show the world that you and I...we are the embers of the same fire..the sparks of the same flame that will burn down any evil that comes its way...They will see the wrath of an omega whose alpha was wronged all his life...'

' Then what about the sins I have committed... what about the lives..even though unknowingly..was taken by me... it doesn't make me less of a murderer...it doesn't make me less of a sinner' Jungkook asked pulling Taehyung closer by his nape

' You deserve every ounce of Love and Justice my King... And I'll give you both' Taehyung tilted his head...his breath hitting the alpha's lips ' For love... I'll handle your sins....And for justice I'll show u mine' With that Taehyung joined their lips into a heated kiss again
