Seventeen-year-old Reyna walks through the halls of a large building, her eyes wander over the different images of famous racers over the years. A wide grin rested on her face as she looked at the recent photo, Christopher Roshani. He had won his last eight races in a row, he was a crowd favourite and everyone adored him. She was Reyna's idol, the way he held himself and the confidence he brought to every situation he was in.

She and Benny admired the man their father was, not many people could willingly say that their father was their hero. Reyna knew that her father was one in a million and due to this, she took every chance she got to be around him. She walked into the main room and spotted her mother, Mariah Roshani and her older brother, Benny. Benny walked over to her with a bright smile, "Mum and I are going to visit the grandparents... You wanna come with?" Reyna looked from her brother to her father before shaking her head.

She hugged her mother as she walked out before turning to her brother, "I'll see you when you get back! We still gotta race to see who is better." Benny laughed at his sister's words but agreed nonetheless, he was interested to see if she could beat him in a race. Benny and Mariah left, Reyna raced over to her father with a smile as he pulled her into a tight hug. "Let's get on that track then," Christopher spoke getting a nod from Reyna.

They made their way down to the track, Reyna climbed into her car before putting on the seatbelt. She started up the car and drove up to the starting line, she turned to look at her father with a smirk. "If I win, you shout me to lunch, movie and you have to do a dare," Reyna spoke making her father laugh. "All right, then if you lose, you have to do the dishes for a month. Spaghetti night included." Reyna nodded in agreement. Christopher's dare was to dress up in a pink dress and sing a Shania Twain song in public.

Two days later, Reyna pulled up to the gate for Race Wars, her beauty Chevelle ready to decimate the competition. "How are you, Bro?" Reyna spoke to Marty at the gate, "I'm good. Welcome to Race Wars, Rey." Marty handed Reyna a bracelet, "Thanks, Marty!" She drove up into the line for the races, someone approached and wrote 372 on her back windshield as she's waiting in line. She watches in front of her as cars race one after another, a lot of imports winning in the process. She began to feel the effects once she noticed she was next in line to race, her heart began pumping faster as she closed her eyes.

Her stomach filled with butterflies as adrenaline began pumping through her veins, her heart racing as a smile appeared on her face. She slowly opened her eyes and pulled up to the second spot near the starting line, turning to look at the import next to her. He smirked, "Hey dollface, how about you stand off to the sidelines. I don't wanna make you cry, though I'd love to hear you scream my name." Reyna rolled her eyes, "Why don't you put your money where your mouth is." The guy smiled as Reyna smirked slightly.

The guy proceeded to smirk, "I'll race you for that sweet little ass." Reyna rolled her eyes before she looked back at him, "You want ass, why don't you hit Hollywood Boulevard." She leaned over slightly as the two cars in front raced off, "You want an adrenaline rush, it'll be two large. Right here, Right now." She held up the cash, "What's it gonna be, import?" He stayed quiet for a moment before holding up his own money, "You got it." Reyna smiled as she looked forward.

They both pulled up to the startling line, Reyna took a moment to look over at the other car as information scattered through her brain like a blueprint to its engine. She smirked knowing she's gonna win this race easy, the guy winked at her before blowing her a kiss. She shook her head before looking in front of her, 'You should've thought this through, pandejo.' Reyna thought to herself as she revved her engine getting the crowd excited as they cheered. She grips the steering wheel, a smile resting on her face as the woman raises her arms before dropping them.

The two cars are side by side at first, Reyna hardly pushing as she presses the pedal a little more putting her in the lead. It was around just before halfway through the race when the other driver hit his NOS too early making Reyna smirk, "Too early..." She felt giddy as she hit the NOS sending her past the other car and across the finish line with a wide lead. She slows to a stop and steps out of the car, the driver approached her with a slightly annoyed expression. "Nice race, you should remember not to NOS early. A common mistake," Reyna spoke politely as he handed his money over before nodding.

She got back into her car and drove over to the team, parking her car close to the trailer with a smile. She shut off the car and made her way over to the team, Letty approached her first with a smile. "Nice race, baby," Letty spoke as she pulled Reyna into a hug. "Same to you, chica. You had him on the ropes," Reyna smiled proudly before walking up to Dom. "I'm proud, you worked hard on that beauty. That's real racing," Dom spoke as he pulled Reyna into a hug.

She smiled proudly as Leon approached them, "Yo! Heads up, bro. We got problems." Reyna stepped forward with Dom, "What?" Reyna turned her head to see the Jetta, Jesse's ride driving away from the racetrack. "Where's Jesse going?" Reyna questioned Leon who sighed in defeat, "He raced Tran for slips." Reyna's eyes widened as Dom frowned, "Oh, shit." Tran drove over to the team, pissed off.

Tran stepped out of his car and approached Dominic, "Where's he going?" His voice was venomous and Reyna knew things would get out of hand. Vince grabbed Reyna's hand and pulled her back to stand with him knowing things could go bad pretty quickly. "He went to the car wash," Dominic lied while Reyna shifted on her feet worried about Jesse, he just got himself in some deep shit. "Whatever. Go fetch my car," Tran demanded making Dominic scoff at him, "Go fetch your car? We're not on your block anymore. You better watch who you talk to like that." Dom turned to walk away, locking eyes with Rey.

"Toretto!" Tran yelled, "Swat came into my house, disrespected my whole family because somebody narked me out!" He continued yelling as his guys made their way over ready to stand with their leader, the Toretto crew turned to look at them. "And you know what? It was you!" Tran screamed out catching everyone's attention to the scene. Reyna looked at Vince before looking back towards Tran and his people, she just wanted to find Jesse.

Dominic punched Tran in the face sending him to the ground before he continued punching him. Leon pushed some of Tran's men back as Vince stood protectively in front of Reyna who is standing frozen by the scene in front of her. Letty threw a punch into Lance's face sending him to the ground, a slight smirk rested on Letty's face. Vince raced over to help a security guard pulled Dom off of Tran, Letty walked over to Reyna and pulled her away from the scene making her heart race.

That night Letty, Leon, Vince, Reyna and Dominic are getting ready to leave for a job, hijacking one last truck is what they are hoping for. This would be the first time for Reyna but she knew what she had to do. Mia walked over towards Dominic, her intent was to convince him this was a bad idea and the others were in agreement with that. "I have respected you and I haven't said shit. Now, I am asking you not to go," Mia spoke before looking at Reyna, "And don't take Reyna along, you didn't want her involved in this." Dom looked between Rey and Mia but he had his mind made up.

Mia hoped that someone else would speak up, Reyna wanted to but she couldn't find her voice. She was too worried about Jesse, he was in trouble and Tran wouldn't care about the car by now; he'd just want revenge on Dom. "I'm doing this for all of us," Dominic spoke back to Mia, catching the worried expression on Reyna's face knowing she'd be worried about Jesse which is why he's dragging her along otherwise she'd look for Jesse and the last thing he wanted was her running into Johnny Tran alone.

Mia shook her head as she stared at her brother, "Don't give me that crap. You're doing this for you. Why are you insisting on this?" Mia's eyes began to water, Reyna and Letty made eye contact which only reassured Reyna that this is a bad idea. "Dom, please, just don't," Mia pleaded with her brother but he wouldn't budge, his mind was set no matter how heartbreaking it was to see his sister so upset, they needed this last job.

Dominic looked over at the others before nodding at them, Reyna climbed into the car with Letty while Vince was riding with Dominic and Leon on his own, Jesse usually riding with him. Reyna closed her eyes for a moment as Letty started up the car, "You gotta bad feeling too, bubs?" Letty questioned causing Reyna to open her eyes and look at her, "Yeah, I really do." Reyna looked down at her hands before looking up again.

She had to talk to someone, "Hey bubba." Letty glanced at Reyna before nodding, "Yeah?" Reyna let out a breath, "If I knew something that everyone should know, but I keep it to myself which leads to them finding out eventually..." Letty looked at Reyna and sighed, "Bubba." Reyna leaned back in her seat, "Do you think everyone would hate me if I kept a secret that could tear the family apart?" Letty smirked, "Bubs, none of us could hate you. We'd be upset but we'd understand." Reyna nodded as they continued on their way.

Brian approached Mia after witnessing the argument from the trailer, "Mia, What's going on?" He stood in front of her as she tried to act natural, wiping away the stray tears as she worries for her family. "What?" Mia asked confused. "You know what I'm talking about," Brian was concerned about Reyna knowing she wasn't a part of the hijacking considering she had alibi's for all of them but now she was joining them. "No, I don't," Mia argues back, she wouldn't give up any information. She'd protect her family first, always.

Brian shook his head, "You always have tears in your eyes when Dom drives away?" Mia looked up at Brian slightly shocked by his tone. "What's the matter with you?" Her expression becomes one of slight confusion, she couldn't understand why he was pursuing this so badly. "What's he racing off in the middle of the night for? Why did he take Reyna with him? You know about the trucks?" Brian rambled on with questions treading thin ice knowing he would have to reveal himself.

Mia shook her head as she ran her fingers through her hair, "No, Brian! What trucks? Jesus Christ. What?" Mia rambled until Brian grabbed her by the shoulders, "Listen to me, Mia. I'm a cop." Mia looks up at Brian, her eyes full of betrayal and confusion as he blows his cover knowing the danger the Toretto family is in. "What are you talking about, Brian? What is this?" Mia questioned confused and hurt.

Brian sighed, "Ever since the first time I met you, I've been undercover. I'm a cop." Brian spoke truthfully as he watched the betrayal and hurt flash through her eyes. "Oh, you bastard. You bastard," Mia spoke pushing away from him as she tried to walk past him. "Mia," Brain tried to stop her, reach for her but she pushes him away, "Get off of me, Brian!" He was so annoyed with himself, Reyna's words flashed through his mind and he had to do something.

Brian grabbed Mia's arm, "Mia! Listen to me! Everything I ever said I feel about you was real. I care about you, I swear to God. You have to believe me, Mia. But this isn't about you and me. Your brother and Reyna are out there to pull a job, we're running out of time." Brian's worry starts to show making Mia focus on his words, "Those truckers aren't laying down anymore. Maybe they'll make it through tonight, but every law enforcement agency is coming down on them." Brian let out a breath as Mia calmed down slightly.

The two of them began to worry more, "If you don't want anything to happen to your brother, to Letty, to Vince, to Reyna, or to Leon, you have to get in the car with me right now and help me." Brian held her other arm carefully, "Mia, you are the only person that can help me right now. Please, Mia. Please help me," He knew without Mia's help he wouldn't find them, but she agreed for the sake of her family and for the promise to Benny - To always protect Reyna.
