He won't call them daggers
FROM THE TIME THEY ENTERED THE TARDIS, LEAVING THE WAREHOUSE BEHIND, HOLLIE'S HEART WAS RACING. The Doctor was quiet, working on the device Canton sent the video recording of the Silence to, as well as the television. She didn't dare ask him what he was actually doing, just watched him mess with the small TV he had resting on the console.
Nova stood beside him, helping the Time Lord. River had disappeared into the corridors when they got inside the blue box. Orion and Cassiopeia had gone in search of the kitchen with Rory, forcing the human to eat something because he hadn't in hours (how they could even stomach anything right now was beyond her). Still, they could, which left her sitting in the chair near the console, watching the Doctor and the young blonde woman work.
Hollie bit her lip, watching the pair silently. She desperately wanted to shower—to leave them to finish whatever they were doing so they could get Amy back. The quicker they rescued the redhead, the faster she could find her art room or the observatory and be left alone.
But she couldn't do that. She'd promised the Doctor she'd stay nearby. He'd given her that look, used that stern tone of his, the one that could send enemies running away. He didn't want her too far, just in case the Silence were nearby, somehow one step ahead of them.
So she stayed, remained sat in the seat by the console, feeling more like she didn't belong than ever, her eyes fixed on the Doctor as he fiddled with the television, brows knitted as he worked on it with his screwdriver. Nova stood beside him, helping, occasionally using her own screwdriver on the small television.
They were at it for a good half an hour. Hollie remained quiet for the most part. The Doctor had probably even forgot she was there, muttering about wires and this 'plan' of his, whatever it actually was, needing to work.
After a while, Hollie decided that she could just get up and leave, go for the shower she desperately needed and be back in time without him even realising she was gone.
She left the console room quietly, the Doctor didn't even notice, of course, he didn't, he was too engrossed in whatever he was doing. While Nova did notice, she turned slightly and gave the slightest of nods as Hollie crept out of the console room and into the corridor.
She found her room quickly, thankful for the TARDIS helping her and didn't spare any time in stripping and entering her bathroom. The shower was already running and at the perfect temperature.
"Thank you." She patted a tiled wall of her bathroom, smiling when the lights flashed slightly as she stepped into the water and sighed, the water running over her instantly, washing the horrible grime clinging to her body. It had been months since she was able to shower properly in hot water that was the right temperature; it felt like years since she had been in the shower of her room in the TARDIS.
She wished she could stay in it forever, forget about the looming threat of the Silence, forget about her horrible dreams and the fact that the Doctor only saw her for her broken body under Stonehenge, in front of the Pandorica, but she couldn't. Sooner or later, the Doctor would look round and see she was gone. He'd probably blame Nova for letting her go, it wasn't her fault, and surely if she thought it wasn't safe, she would have stopped her.
Hollie got ready quickly, partly drying her hair and letting it just hang before she got dressed. Black t-shirt, black jeans, black boots and a dark green button-up shirt, undone to go over the top. Practically the same clothes she had on before, just with less sweat and grim from months of not having a decent shower.
When she arrived back in the console room, everyone else was there now too, and the Doctor was picking up the television and unplugging it from the console. He frowned at her, eyeing her slightly wet hair. "I thought I told you to stay with me?" He questioned, walking towards her.
She crossed her arms. "I needed a shower, Doctor. I haven't had a decent one in months, and you didn't even notice I had gone until now." She accused. "It was like I wasn't even here when I was."
He opened his mouth to say something, but no words came out, and he snapped it shut before turning and pulling a lever on the console. The TARDIS lurched and wheezed, groaning before she settled, and the Doctor led the group to the doors, passing the television to Hollie as he went.
The Doctor opened the door and poked his head out. "Oh." He took in the Silence all stood around Amy. Hollie poked her head out next as the Doctor stepped out of the box, and she frowned. It looked very much like the spaceship on top of Craig's house all that time ago.
"Interesting." The Doctor hummed, stepping further into the room. "Very Aickman Road." He flicked a glance at Hollie; she nodded. So he did think it too then. "We've seen one of these before," he added, half to himself. "Abandoned. I wonder how that happened?" He suddenly spun around as River stepped out of the TARDIS, already pointing her gun at the Silence, Rory trailed out behind her cautiously, the triplets close behind him. "Oh, well I suppose I'm about to find out. Keep one Silent in eyeshot at all times." He ordered the group.
"Oh, hello." He turned to the Silence again. "Sorry, you were in the middle of something. I just had to say, though, have you seen what's on the telly?" He took the television from Hollie as he walked past her and walked into the centre of the room. "Oh, hello, Amy. Are you all right?" He asked and continued to speak as she opened her mouth to reply. "Want to watch some television?" He set the television down, and the Silence hissed, stepping forward.
"Ah. Now, stay where you are." He warned spinning to face them. "Because look at me," he held his hands out for emphasis. "I'm confident. You want to watch that, me, when I'm confident."
He then nodded towards River as she stepped closer, still pointing her gun at the Silence around them. "Oh, and this is my friend River. Nice hair, clever, has her own gun, and unlike me, she really doesn't mind shooting people. I shouldn't like that, but given the circumstances..." He shrugged.
River nodded. "Thank you, sweetie."
"I know you're team players and everything, but she'll definitely kill at least the first three of you." He warned.
River tilted her head. "Well, the first seven, easily."
The Doctor blinked. "Seven? Really?"
"Eight for Holliekins." She smirked.
"And not for me?" He huffed slightly."
She rolled her eyes at him. "Not everything is about you Doctor."
He grumbled. "Why can't it be?"
Amy huffed. "Is this really important? Because I feel like I should be higher on the list right now."
The Doctor nodded at her. "Yes. Right. Sorry. As I was saying, my friend here is going to kill the first three of you to attack, plus him behind," he pointed at one of the Silence behind them as Rory with Orion headed over to where Amy was tied up, "so maybe you want to draw lots or have a quiz. Or maybe you could just listen a minute." He ordered the Silence as he began to move around the room.
Hollie bit her lip, hand inching towards her daggers as the Silence continued to watch the Doctor silently. Cassiopeia and Nova stood together, eyes darting between each of the Silence.
"Because all I really want to do is accept your total surrender and then I'll let you go in peace." He paused and the Silence said nothing. "Yes, you've been interfering in human history for thousands of years. Yes, people have suffered and died, but what's the point in two hearts, if you can't be a bit forgiving, now and then?"
He stopped in front of one of the Silence; it stared down at him while he looked up into its empty eyes. Hollie's gaze flicked between the Doctor and the alien in front of him.
"Ooo, the Silence. You guys take that seriously, don't you?"
Orion pulled out his screwdriver, flashing his screwdriver at the locks on her feet first.
"Okay, you got me. I'm lying. I'm not really going to let you go that easily. Nice thought, but it's not Christmas. First, you tell me about the girl. Who is she?" He questioned, leaning against the small table where the television was perched. "Why is she important? What's she for?"
"And we're getting a picture on the TV." The television cut in.
The Doctor raised a brow when the Silence didn't respond. "Guys, sorry, but you're way out of time." He pulled the antennas of the television all the way up and patted the top of it. "Now, come on. A bit of history for you. Aren't you proud? Because you helped." He rested his arm on the small television. "Now, do you know how many people are watching this live on the telly? Half a billion." He clicked his fingers at Nova. "Or more accurately, 650 million. And that's nothing, because the human race will spread out among the stars. You just watch them fly. Billions and billions of them, for billions and billions of years, and every single one of them at some point in their lives, will look back at this man, taking that very first step, and they will never, ever forget it."
"Okay, engine stop. ATA on the descent. Modes control both auto. Descent engine command off." The TV echoed.
"Oh. But don't forget this bit." The Doctor pulled Hollie's phone out from his pocket. She blinked completely forgetting he had that. "Ready?" He spoke into it.
"That's one small step for man—" The speech of Neil Armstrong on the TV fizzed out, and the image of the Silence lying in the Area 51 prison appeared on the television. "You should kill us all on sight." It ordered before disappearing.
"You've given the order for your own execution, and the whole planet just heard you." The Doctor smirked.
The Silence hissed, and Hollie gripped one of her daggers tightly in her hand as the Silence looked visibly enraged. Orion was still trying to unlock the cuffs on Amy's hands.
"What's wrong?" Amy hissed.
"It's harder than it looks!" He hissed back.
"One giant leap for mankind." Neil Armstrong's voice came through; the image of him on the television was back, as if it had never disappeared in the first place.
"And one whacking great kick up the backside for the Silence!" The Doctor exclaimed. "You just raised an army against yourself and now, for a thousand generations, you're going to be ordering them to destroy you every day. How fast can you run?" He asked. "Because today's the day the human race throw you off their planet." Hollie swallowed hard, backing up slowly as the Silence grew closer to the Doctor. "They won't even know they're doing it. I think, quite possibly, the word you're looking for right now is oops. Run!" He stepped back as electricity crackled around them, coming from the enraged Silence. "Guys, I mean us. Run!"
The Doctor quickly ducked a moment before one of the Silence shot lightening in his direction. River fired her gun, shooting back at the Silence. The Doctor pulled Hollie down beside him as he ran to her, while Rory pulled on the material binding Amy to the chair.
"We can't get her out!" He shouted.
"Go." She ordered. "Go."
"We are not leaving without you." Rory snapped as Orion flashed his screwdriver at the lock again.
"Look, will you just get your stupid face out of here" Amy snapped back.
Rory stared at Amy, almost in shock, and Amy looked back at him, confused for a moment before her eyes softened slightly. Orion laughed as the lock swung open. The Doctor ducked under shots from the Silence and also from River. He dragged Hollie with him towards Amy. Cassiopeia and Nova ran towards the TARDIS, running inside and opening the doors to help the others get in.
"Run!" River shouted. "Into the TARDIS, quickly."
The Doctor pushed Hollie towards the doors.
But Hollie had other plans, she swallowed hard and made her split second decision, feeling her dagger in her hand. If River was right, if she had to start to defend herself and protect the Doctor and not just rescue him anymore, than now was no better time than ever to start.
She ducked under his arm swiftly, sheathing her dagger. The Doctor didn't even see it coming, and he spun around when his back was to her with his eyes widening in the process. "Hollie!" He screeched in a mix of panic at the same time, Amy and Rory ran to the doors of the TARDIS with the triplets.
River continued to shoot at the aliens while Hollie pulled out her own gun, the older blonde gave her months ago when this whole mess had started.
The Doctor's jaw dropped as he stared at the weapon in her hands.
Why the hell did Hollie. His Hollie Aria have a damn gun?
Then his eyes narrowed, proving more and more that she wasn't his Hollie Aria anymore, more a shadow of the person she once was. His eyes drifted to the curly-haired blonde beside her, shooting at the suit-wearing aliens.
River. Song.
Hollie started to shoot at the Silence around her, only missing a few shots while panic set into him and he asked the question, knowing exactly what her answer would be anyway, with a snapping tone:
"Where in Rassilons name did you get that!" He backed up towards the duo, waving his sonic at the aliens surrounding them. His back pressed against Hollies, and he tilted his head enough to look at her, narrowing his eyes as they met her own.
"River," Hollie answered a slight smirk on her face which disappeared as quickly as it came, as she concentrated on the task at hand again after one of the Silence got a little too close for comfort.
She almost looked like she was enjoying herself.
It made him feel ill. How long had she had this evil weapon for? And how long had she been practising how to use it? Was this what she had been doing in the three months since the Silence split them up? Between running from the aliens, had she been shooting at them too?
Why did I even ask? He thought with an angry huff. "You're a bad influence on her!" He shouted over the gunfire at the other blonde.
"She's got to protect herself one way or another if she's staying with you." River replied casually while firing at the Silence. "And she's a pretty good shot."
The Doctor huffed again before he turned his head around slightly to try and look at Hollie better than before. "We'll talk about this later." He shot her an annoyed look before turning to River. "Don't let them build to full power."
"I know!" River replied. "There's a reason why I'm shooting, Doctor. What are you doing?"
"Helping." He replied.
Hollie giggled slightly before turning around to look at him only to raise her gun up past his left shoulder and fire at a Silence right behind him.
The Doctor swallowed hard and quickly ducked towards the TARDIS. A scowl covered his features.
"You've got a screwdriver. Go build a cabinet!" River shouted.
"That's really rude!" He snapped back.
"Go learn how to drive!" She shot back again. The Doctor grumbled in response but did as he was told and went into the box.
"Holliekins." River looked at the fellow blonde and nodded toward the TARDIS.
Hollie nodded back and headed towards the box, the Doctor held the door open, allowing Hollie inside, his eyes following her silently with a frown on his face before he followed after her.
River began spinning around and shooting at the same time, not missing a single shot as Silence after Silence fell down, dead on the ground.
Finally, after a couple of spins, River stopped shooting, ducked, then turned and clocked Hollie with her head poking out of the TARDIS. "Your boyfriend didn't see that, did he?" She asked. "He would get ever so cross."
She scowled. "He's not my boyfriend."
River tilted her head. "He was the last time I saw you."
"He left me in Warwickshire for eight months after I last saw you." Hollie countered.
River sighed and rolled her eyes. "Idiot. Of course he did."
Hollie's eyes widened, and River swung her gun-hand back as one of the Silence stood up. "He's such a child." She shot it without even looking before twirling her gun between her fingers and dropped it into her holster.
"You're telling me," Hollie grumbled.
"You two, inside!" The Doctor shouted.
River rolled her eyes and smirked at Hollie as she strode into the TARDIS.
Hollie closed the door and followed River to the console, watching as she turned a dial and started to pilot the TARDIS.
"You can let me fly it." The Doctor pointed out.
"Yeah, or we could go where we're supposed to." She shot back, eyes flickering to him. Hollie stood with arms crossed, a frown carved into her face as she moved her way around the console to the opposite side while the Doctor refused to look at her for more than a few seconds, anger still blazing in his eyes. "You can stop being in a strop with her now, Doctor." River spoke quietly.
"You gave her a gun." He said, not looking up as he continued to try and fly the TARDIS. Hollie scoffed and went to sit on the stairs leading under the console.
"She already thinks she needs knives—"
"Daggers." River corrected.
The Doctor scowled harder. "Why did you give her a gun?"
"Trust her, Doctor."
He shook his head, looking at the back of Hollie's head as she pulled out a dagger and turned it over in her hands. At last he tore his eyes away, looked back to River, then towards the corridors as footsteps echoed away—blonde hair disappearing round a corner and out of sight.
He sighed slightly and shook his head again.
Hollie had no idea how much time had past since she arrived back here. She had been sat in her art room, alone, staring at the blank canvas in front of her, frowning at it. How long could she keep going like this? She thought to herself. How long can she put up with his anger and distaste towards her? He looked at her like she was a monster, not even a shell of the person she used to be, because that shell was long gone, replaced with a new one in 102 AD.
Hollie bit her lip. She knew she couldn't keep going on like this, but it didn't look like Amy or Rory were leaving anytime soon. What would they say if she said she wanted to leave? Would they be upset? At her? At the Doctor?
She sat there, on the stool opposite the canvas for a long time, the white empty perfection of it a small comfort in her imperfect life.
Her fingers itched to pick up the brush. To let the paint speak where her words had failed her, but every time she reached for it, the weight in her chest pressed her hand back. She wasn't sure what she'd paint anymore, certainly not stars, not alien skies and definitely not him.
She swallowed against the burn in her throat at the thought of him, the look in his eyes when he saw her fire that gun. She blinked back the tears threatening to ruin her fragile composure. She couldn't crumble, not here, not now.
The canvas stared back at her, perfect and untouched. She almost envied it.
Hollie dragged her gaze from the canvas as the faint hum of the TARDIS shifted. She frowned, hearing footsteps. She thought she'd have more time alone before others came looking.
A knock, gentle, defiantly not the Doctor or Amy tapped against the door. "Hey," Rory's voice filled the room, warm and quiet but loud in the silent space. He leaned in, hands tucked into the pockets of his jacket. "The Doctor set me for thermocouplings. Figured if anyone knew where they'd be it'll be you."
She tried to smile, but the mention of him left her feeling a little sour. "The green and blue ones?"
"Yeah." Rory nodded. His eyes flickered to the untouched canvas. "Not thought had any ideas?"
"A bit hard to after everything..." She shrugged, avoiding his gaze.
For a moment, silence stretched between them. Rory seemed to weigh his words before speaking again. "Amy told me what's happened with you and the Doctor. I know he hasn't said it, but he doesn't hate you. I don't think he even can."
Her chest ached at the thought, the bitter part of her whispering that Rory was wrong. "Feels like he can."
Rory didn't argue. He just gave a small nod. "Anyways, the thermocouplings?"
She jerked her chin towards the corridor. "Storage room, second door down. "He keeps them in the blue crate on the left, bottom shelf."
"Got it." He turned to leave, then hesitated. "Well... if you ever want to get away from here." He gestured to the room around them. "For a bit, you know where to find me and Amy."
He disappeared down the corridor, hunting for the parts.
Left alone again, Hollie exhaled slowly. The quiet didn't feel peaceful anymore; it pressed on her, like a horrible weight that was now heavy and suffocating. She pushed herself up from the stool and left her art room, boots thudding softly on the metal corridor floor.
She wasn't heading anywhere in particular, but the comforting warmth and golden glow of the console room welcomed her, even if there was a two-hearted Time Lord standing at the console. Amy was beside him, leaning against the controls. They must have already dropped River off, the Time Trio no doubt having left soon after that.
"Because you're my friend," Amy replied to something the Doctor had said. "You're my best friend."
"That's rude." Hollie piped up, forcing a smile at the ginger as she joined them by the console.
"You're both my best friends." Amy glanced over with a smirk.
The Doctor hummed, sparing a glance at Hollie before looking back at Amy. "Did you tell Rory?"
"No."
"Amy," the Doctor frowned. "Why tell us and not Rory?"
Ah... Hollie thought. The pregnancy.
"Why do you think?" She frowned back at him. "I travelled with you in this TARDIS for so long. All that time. If I was pregnant for some of it, wouldn't it have had an effect?"
Hollie frowned, unsure what exactly Amy had meant by that. "I don't want to tell Rory his baby might have three heads or, like, a timehead, or something."
Hollie couldn't help but crack a small smile as the Doctor couldn't help but chuckle. "What's a timehead?"
"I don't know, but what if it had one?"
"A timehead." He repeated.
She rolled her eyes. "Shut up."
"Oi, stupid face." Amy called aloud, leaning towards the stairs leading down to the corridor Hollie had come from moments ago.
"Er, yeah?" He called back, slowly walking up it. "Hello." He added slightly nervously.
"I'm taking that away from you, if you're going to listen in all the time."
"Okay, that's a fair point." He noted. "But you should've told me that you thought you were pregnant. I'm a nurse. I'm good with pregnancy."
"Not, as it turns out, that good." She chuckled slightly. "So please stop being stupid."
"Er, no, never. I'm never, ever, going to stop being stupid." Amy laughed loudly as Rory suddenly picked her up, hugging her tight. The Doctor rounded the console to the scanner and typed on the keyboard. Hollie leaned against the console, smiling at her two friends as they laughed and shared a kiss—until the Doctor cut into the moment.
"So, this little girl. It's all about her. Who was she?" He smiled slightly. "Or we could just go off and have some adventures. Anyone in the mood for adventures? Because I am. You only live once."
Hollie bit her lip at that. You only live once, she thought. Not in our case... She frowned, catching a flicker of worry in the Doctor's eyes. She moved round the console towards him; he quickly pressed a button. The screen went blank.
She frowned, trying not to make it obvious to Amy and Rory who were still unaware of the unease and worry on the Doctor's face.
What are you hiding from us Doctor? Hollie wondered.
It didn't take long for Amy and Rory to disappear out of the console room, sleep calling to them, and while it was also probably a good idea for Hollie to go to bed soon too, especially after the few months she had just endured, she didn't feel at all tired. She blamed that on the alien currently working under the console. Goggles covering his eyes as he sat in the swinging makeshift chair, screwdriver in his hand.
Hollie sat in silence on one of the chairs in the console room, scrolling aimlessly on her phone as the silence (bar the Doctor's screwdriver buzzing and him scolding the TARDIS every so often when it sparked at him) surrounded her. It was almost like a sort of warm blanket in a weirdly comforting way.
The comfort didn't last long, possibly an hour or two until the buzzing of the Doctors screwdriver ceased, and he sighed, the sound of footsteps coming up the stairs filling the room before he appeared, walking up to her. "Hey." She tore her eyes away from her phone, looking up at him, frowning slightly at the torn look on his face. She should have expected that.
"Hey," he replied, his voice slightly off as he crossed his arms and casually leaned against the side of the chair.
"Hey," Hollie repeated, matching his tone this time and setting her phone down as the Doctor let out a sigh.
He looked at Hollie, slightly puzzled but slightly disappointed. "You used a gun and you have those knives..." He scowled at the thought.
"Daggers." She corrected."
He gave her an annoyed look. "Daggers..." He said almost as if he was cursing by saying the word which was completely ridiculous because he could say the word 'gun' absolutely fine.
"To help save Amy." She replied with a nod. "And Rory and you."
The Doctor shook his head. "River could handle it."
"River thought I should help." She frowned stood up to talk to him properly. "Doctor, I'm not going to sit there and do nothing. What if River couldn't shoot one of the Silence that were trying to shoot at Amy because she was shooting one trying to kill me?"
The Doctor frowned, but eventually he softened slightly under her gaze. "I just... I don't like weapons."
"I know." Hollie nodded, she hesitated for a moment, unsure if he even wanted her touch, but it was still her, still him, she raised a hand and lightly cupped one of his cheeks, running her thumb along his cheekbone, the Doctor had to hold with all of his strength to not shiver under her touch. It felt so comforting but still so foreign at the same time. "I'll be careful."
The Doctor slowly nodded, but his eyes still said otherwise. "I still don't like it, though. It isn't you."
"Isn't me?" She questioned, pulling her hand away from him, frowning. He cringed slightly at how quickly she pulled away. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"The Hollie I know wouldn't go around shooting people." He replied as if it was obvious.
Hollie narrowed her eyes slightly. She was getting bored of having the same conversation with him. "The Hollie you know is dead. This is who I am now. We've been over this countless times."
"So the Hollie you are now is a murderer?" He snapped harsher than he intended to, his eyes widening as the words left his mouth.
Why did he have to be such an idiot?
"Is that what you think of me?" She questioned in a harsh tone while crossing her arms at him. "I didn't use it because I wanted to, you know? I did it to help rescue our friends and keep you safe."
"I don't need saving Hollie." He countered. "And no one held a gun up to you and made you do it."
Hollie sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose; their bickering back and forth was going nowhere, sooner or later they would end up having a worse argument than this, no doubt resulting in her storming out of the TARDIS again, perhaps next time she wouldn't get so lucky and the location wouldn't be anywhere on Earth.
Hollie was far too tired to deal with being stranded on an alien planet after the months she had just endured.
"Where's River?" She grumbled, knowing she probably was back in prison but if anyone could help her right now it would be River Song.
"Back at stormcage." He answered. "She asked for you, you know."
Hollie rolled her eyes. "At least someone's asking for me."
The Doctor frowned, anger bubbling inside him. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Exactly what I said." She glared up at him. "Eight months, Doctor." She practically hissed. "And then another three running away from those... things." She couldn't help but shiver. "And not once in that time have you acted like you actually cared about me."
"If I didn't care, I wouldn't be here right now." He countered. "Stood right here, talking to you."
"You're only here because what I did breaks your 'morals'." She protested. He frowned at her again and opened his mouth to shoot something back at her, but she continued, shaking her head. "What did River want?"
"In the future, we always say goodbye." He murmured. "Apparently, you never let her leave without a hug."
Hollie frowned, shaking her head. "Right." She muttered. "I presume those three went not long after."
He nodded silently, and Hollie didn't say another word. He stood while she sat back down, silence surrounding them, this time not comfortable; it was suffocating, and she hated it.
Minutes passed before she broke that silence. "I'm going to bed." She told him, going to walk past the Time Lord, his gaze following her as she went past.
"So that's it?" He asked, turning to her back as she continued to walk away. "You're keeping it?"
She frowned. "If 'it' means the gun." She gestured to it on her. "Yeah. I am. River gifted it to me. She knows the future; it's obviously important. You can't stop me, Doctor." She informed him, not even turning around to look at the Time Lord. The Oncoming Storm was no doubt brewing behind his eyes, but she didn't care, though. She was trying to keep him safe, keep them all safe. He called her his rescuer, and yet he wouldn't let her rescue him anymore, not since she changed her face. "I won't use it all the time, but if it keeps us safe, then I'm using it." She added just before leaving the console room.
The Doctor frowned but didn't say another word or decide to chase after her and fight back again. Instead, he listened as her footsteps grew quieter before silence filled the air around him
He then looked down at the ground and sighed, slowly shaking his head. She was so confusing.
And he loved it yet hated it equally at the same time. It was infuriating.

I've had this one in the drafts for a while, but it needed some polishing and then I was having headaches, so I didn't want to write... turns out I needed glasses for computers and concentration tasks, been called Clark Kent a few times since I got those... oh well at least I can write again. Hope it was worth the wait! <3
