The next day, y/n got up before the alarm, put on a pair of beige pants and a black t- shirt, then went down to the kitchen and had breakfast with her grandmother.

"What are you going to do this afternoon? Will you go to Alexa?"
"Uhm, maybe we will go out together and study"
She nodded
Y/n thought back to what Alexa had told her about Ryan, she hated having to lie to her granny and also her friend's father, but maybe today she would really go out with her.
"I must go, see you later!"
"Have a nice day sweety!"

Y/n took her skateboard and went to school.
It was really early, so there weren't many students.
The girl went to her locker to put her books inside. Took her notebook and smiled, thinking about all the songs that she was writing with Luke.
She thought about the proposal the boy made to her and sighed. She really wanted to be in a band.

Suddenly, a boy leaned against the locker next to hers.
"Where is Alexa?"
"Good morning Ryan. Yes I'm fine, thanks"
He rolled his eyes
"So, where is your friend?"
"I don't know, she is always with you. Oh, that means you lost a girl? What a surprise"
"We will hang out together at the party next week end"
"Good luck with her dad"
"Oh don't worry, I have a plan"
He smiled while y/n looked at him confused
"You are so creepy"
"She loves me, accept it"
"No, she likes the idea of you"
"Like you with Luke?"
She blushed
"What?"
"I saw you two, I saw how you looked at him"
She was completely red
"That's not true, we are just friends!"
"Yeah sure, see you"

When he left, another boy approached her.
"Hey, are you okay? I heard you screaming at Ryan"
She looked at the boy with blue eyes and blonde hair
"Oh, yes. He was just acting stupid, as always. Thanks Alex"
"Don't worry... Anyway, did you think about being a member of sunset curve?"
He asked with puppy eyes
She giggled
"I don't know..."
"Please, we are too much boys, I will appreciate a girl in the group"
"I will think about it, ok?" Asked sweetly

The two continued talking. Y/n found the boy very nice and sweet, he knew how to make her laugh and worried about her. At that moment, she thought that had found a new friend.

Suddenly, Alex's gaze fell on Luke, who was at his locker with a girl.
"Who is she?"
Y/n turned to look at them
"Ugh, she's Clarissa. Is in my dance class. Yesterday she dropped me, hurting my ankle, she's a bad person"
Clarissa was laughing with Luke.
They seemed so perfect together that y/n looked down, closing her locker.
"Hey, I'm sure they're just friends, Luke isn't that superficial"
"I have to go to class, see you for lunch?"
He nodded

When lunch time came, y/n sat down at the table with Alexa. Soon, Alex and Reggie arrived and sat with the two girls.
"H- Hi" Said Reggie to Alexa
Y/n smiled at how embarrassed he was
"Hi, uhm, Reggie?"
"Yes!"

After a bit, Ryan joined at the table and sat next to Alexa
"Hello sweetheart" said kissing her cheek
"You encourage me to vomit" Said y/n looking at him
Alexa glared at her
"She's jealous. Where would you like to go this afternoon?"
Alexa thought before answer
"She is busy. She has lesson with Reggie, he is her new Spanish tutor"
Alexa looked at the boy in amazement
"Really?!"
"Y- Yes!
Reggie looked y/n as to say 'Thank you very much'
"Thanks Reggie, but today I'll hang out with Ryan, can we do another day?"
"Oh ehm... Sure..."

Later, Luke arrived at the table but he wasn't alone, he was with the blonde girl, Clarissa.
He sat next to y/n.
"Hi, do you guys know Clary?"
"Yes, the girl that hurt my ankle"
"Ehy, you fell by yourself"
Y/n took all ger things and got up
"Rosy- cheeks, wait!"
Said Luke following her

He took the girl by her arm
"Leave me"
"What's going on?"
"Nothing, I just want to stay alone"
"Ok... Listen... Did you th-"
He was cut off by the girl
"If you are going to ask me if I thought about your stupid band, the answer is no, I didn't. Why you always think about that?!"
"First, if you are mad at me, you shouldn't say bad things about my band, second, I love my band, is my everything"
"So, ask Clarissa to join you in the group"
So she went away from him

She couldn't stop thinking about what she had told him. She had been mean, and she didn't understand why she had reacted like that. She felt ridiculous. Luke probably didn't want to talk with her anymore.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the bell that rang to sign the end of the lessons. Y/n went out of school to leave with Alexa, but saw the girl leave with Ryan in his car.
"Great, completely alone"
"May I can help" said a boy
She turned to see Alex
"Oh hi Alex"
"You look upset"
"Well, Alexa abandoned me for a stupid boy, Luke hates me and I don't know what to do"
"What? No, Luke doesn't"
"I argued with him today. I don't even know why I was mad at him but-"
"But when you saw Clarissa you couldn't see them together"
"He can hang out with all the girls of the world, I don't care"
"I saw the chemistry between you two"
Y/n blushed
"Don't worry, I won't tell nobody"
"Thanks, you are a great friend"

"What would you like to do today?"
"I don't know, I would like to write songs nut I have no inspiration"
"Mh, I have an idea"

Alex got in the car with y/n and went to a shop, then bought three cans of ice cream.
Y/n was shocked
"Strawberry form me and vanilla for baby Reggie. What is your favorite?"
"Uhm, I think yogurt"
Alex smiled
"You know, it's the same as Luke likes"
The boy took the third can and paid
"Hey, you should't pay for mine too!"
"Shhh, is what friends do"

The two went to the garage where the band used to rehearse, inside there was only a sad Reggie
"Oh Reggie, sweety, you look so depressed"
"Uhm, I am"
"Alex and I took some ice cream, do you want some?"
He looked up
"Vanilla ice cream?"
"Yes"
He smiled
"Yay"
Y/n laughed at his reaction. He was so precious

The three were sitting on the floor, eating their ice cream, laughing and joking
"I've never had so much fun, thanks guys"
"You are now our friend, you are so funny and nice"
She blushed
"Thanks"
"Also thank you for what you did with Alexa"
"Now you can spend time with her!"
"Yes! I'm studying Spanish only for her"
"Let me see" Said Alex
"Hola! Soy Reggie!"
Alex and y/n looked at each other and laughed
"Very good!"

"You know, I would like to join the band"
"Really?!"
She laughed
"Yes"
"Yes! We will have a beautiful singer in the group"
"To be honest, I don't know if for Luke is ok..."
"Hey, he had the idea of you in the band, he will be happy"
"Y/n..."
"Mh?"
She looked at Reggie
"You like him?"
She blushed
"What?! No!"
"You sure?"
"To be honest, I've never really cared about boys, but since I started hang out with Luke, I've felt a weird feeling"
"We've known Luke for years and he seems to have changed for the better since he has known you"
She smiled

The moment was interrupted by the arrival of a boy. Y/n turned and met Luke's eyes.
She bit her lip.
"Uhm, hi..."
"Hi..."
Luke looked the ice cream on the floor
"Ehy, you eat ice cream without me?!"
"Yes man"
They laughed

Luke was on his couch in silence, composing music. Y/n felt embarrassed.
Alex and Reggie noticed the tension between the two.
"It's late, y/n want a ride home?" Asked Reggie
"Oh no thanks, I will walk, thank you anyway"
She took her bag
"See you tomorrow"
She bit her lip seeing that Luke hadn't looked up and hadn't spoken to her
She sighed and walked out of the garage

"Man, are you serious?" Asked Alex looking at Luke
"What?"
"What? Bro since you go out with her, you are different, she makes you happy. You enjoy writing songs with her. Go to her and take her home"
Luke bit his lips

He got up and ran out of the garage.
"Rosy- cheeks!"
She turned around
"Luke?"
He was panting
"Sorry for today"
"No, it's my fault, I'm sorry..."
She looked at the ground and made Luke smile softly
"Hey, I was the one who was with Clarissa and neglected you"
"It's okay, the important thing is that we are back together... Like friends!"
She blushed making him laugh

The two walked towards the girl's house
"Thanks for you taking me home"
"Your welcome, see you tomorrow"
"Ah Luke..."
"Yes?"
"Can I join the band?"
She bit her lip
The boy smiled
"Of course"
"Goodnight guitarist- boy"
