After many weeks of exams Will finally graduated from college. All his hard work paid off; happy to be given a deal with the apprenticeship course; even if that meant moving a small distance away from Hawkins he was still elated; knowing this would be best for him. Standing in his cap and gown the reality of the situation struck him. He was graduating. It felt unreal almost as if it was only yesterday that he started.

Parents flooded the gates of the hall, aiming to leave and take pictures before going out to celebrate. Even his big brother Johnathon was here, flying all the way from New York just to see his little brother graduate.

"Okay now pull a funny face" Dustin shouted holding the selfie stick in his hand, taking many pictures of the crew including Lucas who was officially crowned as part of the young kids' club. Will grew impatient; loving to take pictures but this was like the 100th photo being taken in the past ten minutes with little variation.

"Dustin! I swear to God" Max raised her fist being pulled into the picture, she scowled; her voice flat. El on the other hand was the exact opposite; bubbly and full of life. She smiled, multiple bouquets in her hands, holding all of them in every photo and somehow still managing to interlock fingers with the redhead, the pair remained inseparable; no one was able to separate them today.

"Fine!" Dustin sighed "We'll take a five-minute break" He jokingly sighed running over to Steve and Robin. After learning Will worked at Scoops Ahoy, Dustin made it a priority to meet him and over time developed a little brother relationship with both Robin and Steve. He waddled off into the short distance.

Will shuffled to his mom and brother hugging to congratulate him. Both believed in him offering support the whole way. Johnathon would even send what little money he made over to help his family. "So how does it feel, Will Wheeler?" Johnathon joked; the chestnut-haired boy scrunched his face "Ugh! That doesn't sound right"

"I mean you are going to be a Mr Wheeler one day" Johnathon crossed his arms

"Don't mock him Johnathon" Joyce reprimanded, learning about Mike's age and real job about a year ago. It was not a pretty sight when she found the truth; a whole fiasco hit the Byers household and Mike was forbidden to even been mentioned in the home, but after seeing how distraught and quiet Will was without the ravenette, reluctantly Joyce gave them her blessing to date; but warmed up to the idea knowing that a mature man would be good for her son.

Will rolled his eyes, "Well at least my boyfriend is a professor" He spat.

TAP TAP

Two rhythmic taps pressed against the shoulder of the chestnut-haired boy. He jumped, turning his attention to the touch. "Oh, Hey Richie!"

"Hi... I didn't get a chance to congratulate you" He stuttered "Congrats Will!"

"You too Richie!" The chestnut-haired boy smiled stepping away from his family

"Oh, by the way Will, I wanted you to meet someone" The tall boy fidgeted nervously

"Oh..., Okay" Will blinked surprised

"Follow me" he cheeped, guiding the small boy around until they reached another boy around the same height as Will, graduating on the same day with the same cap and gown. His hair neatly kept, swifted to one side; prepared for the day, almost the complete opposite of Richie who threatened to come to the graduation in flip-flops

"Eddie!" He spoke, shooting Will out his thoughts

"Hey Richie" The boy gushed, excitedly shaking his arms

"This is Will! The boy I was telling you about" Richie flipped his attention between both boys pointing at each of them "Will this is Eddie Kaspbrak"

"Wait! EDDIE? Like 'Eddie' Eddie? Like boyfriend Eddie?" The chestnut-haired boy's mouth widened

"Yep" He simply responded

"Omg it's so nice to meet you!" Will chirped; after losing feelings for the glasses boy Will was able to get closer to Richie and become closer friends then before. When learning that both boys in fact had a crush on one another at one point their hearts broke but now they can look back and laugh about it.

"It's nice to meet you too?" Eddie awkwardly raised an arm, obviously the nervous anxious type

"This is my Eddie-muffin" Richie flirted placing an arm around his boyfriend

"Please stop calling me that" Eddie rolled his eyes

"Never Eddie-muffin" The tall boy affirmed

"You lot are so cute! So, Eddie..." Will playfully spoke "How is Richie treating you?"

"Like a dream" he deadpanned, wafting a hand over

"Hey, I treat you amazingly" Richie jested. "And I'm a great kisser"

"Eh! I'd give you a 4 out of 10" Eddie matched his energy, mocking the tall boy

"Really?" Richie faced the auburn-haired boy toward himself, grabbing his chin facing it up to his face pecking his lip

"Ugh! PDA" Will playfully scrunched his face

"Where's your boyfriend Will?" Richie smiled seeing his boyfriend blush

"Well, he's definitely somewhere" The chestnut-haired boy nodded looking around for his own prince charming

"I'm right here honey" Mike popped up out of nowhere, standing next to him

"Woah speak of the devil" Will mocked

"I actually came to speak to you" The raven-haired boy grabbed the hand of the smaller boy, taking him away from the crowd toward a more remote area. Wanting to be secluded from everyone; even though it was the last day he would see most people here. He just didn't want to get Mike into trouble for dating a student; keeping the majority of their relationship in secret either at night or out of town

"Congrats! I guess you did good in my class" Mike mocked

"Well with such an amazing teacher how could I fail"

"I'm glad you're mine" The ravenette smiled embracing the small boy

"Who said that?" Will weakly wrapped his arms around, mocking Mike

"I did! Because I love you" The tall boy blushed hugging tighter

"You what?" Will's eyes widened, standing stiff

"Shit- F-forget I said anything" Mike panicked, jumping away from the smaller boy. Nervous never saying that to him before; worried of how he would react. Would Will think they were moving too fast? Did Will even love him back? Anxiously, he placed both hands over his ears afraid of what the chestnut-haired boy might say; his thought spiralling with all the worst ideas

"Mike..." Will spoke softly, flashing a tender smile, placing his hands atop Mike's he lowered the ravenette's hands, "I love you too".

"You mean it? This isn't some sort of pity thing, right?" Mike stuttered; a bright blush on his face hearing his sweetheart reaffirm his love. Will nodded tiptoeing. Planting a peck on the lips of the ravenette, knowing any longer and they'd risk being caught. Mike lost composure, tightly embracing the small boy cradling him in the nook of his collar, Will froze from the unexpected movement yet hugged back even tighter. "I love you soo much" Will Whispered into the ravenette's ear.
