"Ricky you haven't spoken to me all week please just tell me what is wrong," I huffed as I walked to him, thankfully the doctor had taken me off of the crutches last night which meant I was actually able to maintain his pace,

"Aurora it's nothing," He snapped and continued walking,

He has been acting weird ever since Nick and I made plans

"Richard bloody Bowen, I've known you since we were in diapers. I can tell when you're lying," I crossed my arms as he finally stopped and turned to me,

"I don't want you going on a date with Nick," He said as I scoffed,

"And what makes you think that it is your decision?" I asked him as I tried to not get annoyed,

"He is going to hurt you," He stated as I rolled my eyes,

"Look, Ricky, I appreciate the concern but I am going on this date whether you like it or not," I tried to explain to him,

"Don't come crying to me when you get hurt," He said as I threw my bag on the ground out of frustration,

"You know if you actually got to know Nick, you'd realize that he is actually a really nice guy," I shot back as I walked off.

"Please tell me you two haven't said anything embarrassing," I said as I ran down the stairs to see Nick busy talking to my brothers,

"No, we were just telling him we wanted you home before midnight," Sebby explained as Nick nodded,

"And to leave space for Jesus!" Jackson yelled from the kitchen as we all laughed,

"Should we get going?" Nick asked as I nodded,

"Bye boys!" I yelled before I shut the door.

"Sorry about them," I giggled as we walked over to his car,

"Don't worry about it, it's sweet how close you are to them," Nick said as he opened my door for me,

"Thank you, yea everyone thinks it is nice that we are all close. Now can you please tell me what we are doing?" I asked him as he laughed knowing that I didn't know anything about the date,

"You'll find out later, Blake," He smirked as I pouted and jokingly huffed,

"You'll enjoy it I promise," He added as he flashed me a smile,

"How many girls get that winning smile?" I joked as he scoffed,

   "Let's not think we are special now Aurora," I flashed him a fake hurt expression as he laughed,

"We're here," he said as he stopped the having his trunk face the sunset,

"If this is your time to kill me the just be quick," I joked as he chuckled and came around to open my door,

"So now can you tell me what we are doing?" I asked sounding like a child as he nodded,

"We are going to watch the sunset and eat food and just talk," He explained as I aww'd in my head,

"Babes got a soft spot huh," I giggled as we both got into his trunk and he pulled out a wooden picnic basket,

"Is this place like Mary Poppins bag?" I asked as he laughed,

"I sometimes worry what goes through your mind," He muttered as I scoffed and hit the back of his head,

"And to think that I was going to ask you to hoco," I fake cried as his cheeks turned a bright shade of pink,

"Who said that was going to stop you?" He smirked as I got an idea,

"The quality of your cooking," I giggled as he opened the picnic basket,

"I didn't know what you would like so I went for a goodie and brought these," he said as he opened a container to show me a bunch of chocolate-covered strawberries.

"Those are my favourite," I smiled as he handed me the container,

"Where did you even find this place?" I asked as I looked out to the sun which was setting over the mountains,

"My dad used to take my brother and me here all the time when we were younger, and since then I come here to think," He explained to me as I smiled,

"Why did he stop taking you?" I asked him as I realized that I had hit a wound,

"Oh, I'm sorry-" I said feeling slightly embarrassed until he shook his head,

~Mentions of Drug Overdose~

"No don't be, I just assumed that most kids in the school knew. He was on a business trip and the morning he was meant to come home we got a call from Daniel his business partner and he said that he overdosed. It will be four years in like a month." He explained to me as I scooted over and gave him a hug,

~Done~

"I'm sorry how is your mom doing?" I asked him as he flashed me a small smile,

"You know you are the first person who asked me how she is now doing," He said to me as I remembered how in love my parents were,

"Well cheers to late parents who will never be forgotten," I said as I held up my coke can and he did the same,

"Cheers," He let out a small chuckle.

"Thank you for tonight," I smiled as we pulled up to my house,

"No problem, so homecoming?" He asked as I giggled,

"What colour is your suite going to be?" I shot back already planning on matching with him,

"So it's a white shirt with a green tie and blue pants, my mom planned my whole outfit," He explained to me as I let out a laugh,

"So I'll see you on Monday?" I asked as he nodded,

"Let me walk you to the door," Nick offered as I shook my head seeing Ricky sitting by my bedroom window,

"How about you just watch me from the car?" I asked as he nodded, I leaned over and kissed his cheek,

"Goodbye Loverboy," I said as he gave me a wave.

I walked straight upstairs since the boys were fast asleep,

"What are you doing here?" I asked Ricky as he looked to the floor,

"I came to apologize for being so harsh about Nick," He answered as I smiled,

"But why did you come to tell me, what if my brothers came in?" I asked and almost laughed picturing the sight,

"Look, I care about you princess and it is going to kill me if someone hurts you," He said as I went and gave him a hug,

"There's the Ricky I know and love, so you staying over?"
