(Author POV)

The sun shining brightly as ever but still, the cold wind made its way, the weather was perfect to go out for a walk with your loved one, and there stood a couple with their hands intertwined.

"Stop putting Ice Cream on my nose." the girl said giggling.

"Okay. Okay, no more Ice Cream on your nose." the boy said with his honey-laced voice.

"Do you want to walk more or straight back to your apartment?" he asked.

"Let's go, I have to look through a case"

"Don't overwork yourself Y/N-ie"

"I won't Jimin-ah"

(Y/N's POV)

Sitting on my chair I closed the file of the case I have been studying for half an hour now and it's pretty easy but I have to make sure to recheck everything to stay organized.

I closed my eyes leaning back on my chair with a huff.

It has been two years since I left Busan and my life there. I and Jimin got engaged few weeks after coming to Seoul, it was nothing big just some of our friends in a small cafe.

I left the night of the party after meeting Jungkook.

Jungkook, I haven't seen him in two years just his pictures sometimes but I miss him like hell but I don't think he even thinks of me now considering the fact I left him the night he proposed to me.

The pain is still in me but I try not to show it to Jimin because he has been super nice to me and I treat him like he deserves to be. We don't do much couple stuff but I try my best to act nicely in front of him.

Jimin is a nice friend and even better finance but I can't love him because of my stupid heart he told me he loves me and that's the moment a lie begins I still remember that clearly...

(Flashback)

"Y/N-ah I know we don't mean anything to you but you mean the world to mean and I love you."He said with a sweet but sad tone.

I just looked at him in shock I never expected him to love me or even be okay with this marriage but...

"It's okay if you don't love me I get it." 

I don't know what came to my mind but I can't do this and be so cruel to him. I turned him around and looked into his eyes.

"I love you too" I spoke trying not to sound guilty for lying to him.

"You do?" he asked holding my shoulder lightly and I just nodded.

He picked me up and spun me around the room while I was just giggling.

He put me down and looked at me and cupped my cheek.

We leaned closer and he attached our lips.

I could feel him pouring his all in the kiss but I just tried my best not to cry for feeling so bad for lying.

I am sorry Jimin but it's for your happiness.

I still don't have that type of feeling for him but I have become numb to pain or guilt at this point.

I can't bring myself to say the truth and I have decided to lie as long as it's possible cause it's the best option.

(Author POV)

"How long will you hide from me?" A man said with a sad smile on his lips, "I promised to never give up on us, no matter how much you try to run away from me Gongju."

He was none other than Jeon Jungkook, the guy who was still insanely in love with Y/N and he was sure she still loves him after all she promised her existence after him.

He closed his eyes thinking of the time they were together and happy.

(Flashback)

"Where are we going, Y/N-ah?" Jungkook asked with an excited smile.

"Just wait, Kookie" she replied giggling.

When they reached the place, Y/N removed the blindfold and when Jungkook saw the beautiful scenery in front of him, he was mesmerized.

The moon was shining brightly giving the place a beautiful shine and there was an orchid tree making the place even more beautiful.

"This is my favorite spot in the whole Busan, it's the calmest place I could ever ask for," she told him while looking at the moon.

"Why did you bring me here then?" he asked going and back hugging her.

"Because I wanted to show you something special to me, as you showed me your painting book" 

"This is our secret place from now on," He said making butterflies jump in her stomach.

At her favorite place with her favorite person, what else does she need?

"So we have to make something to mark this place right?" she said to him as a joke.

"You're right," he said picking up a stone from the side and going towards the tree.

"Here we go!" he told her after writing their names together on the tree.

"You can do anything right? "she asked him seeing his actions.

"For you everything and anything" he replied with a sly smile.

The couple was just smiling and looking at each other with all the love in the world.
