The Previous Night
After Mob walked home with (Y/n), she went to her home while he continued walking a bit more until he reached his. He opened his front door and shut it gently behind him, removing his white sneakers as he announced. "I'm home." He walked up the stairs and began doing his nightly routine; take a bath, change into his blue-striped pajamas, and settled down.
When that was all down, Mob went through his school bag and pulled out the enrollment paper, walking his way over to his desk and plopping down whilst grabbing a pencil. He stared at the paper for a good while, eventually lifting his pencil until a sudden knock caused him to look at his door and watch it open to reveal a boy with black, spiky hair and dark eyes enter his room.
The boy's name was Ritsu Kageyama, Shigeo's younger brother by a year and despite being younger, Ritsu was a bit taller than him. Ritsu didn't have a Quirk like his brother, he was just like his parents, and he sorta envied his older brother.
"Nii-san, you didn't eat anything when you came home?" The boy questioned, raising a brow while Mob just smiled at him and replied. "Oh, Ritsu, I'm fine. I had ramen with (Y/n) and Master." Just hearing that last word made Ritsu scowled. He didn't like Reigen. Not one bit. He hated that his brother and his friend were associated with that sweaty rat and his shady job, but, if his brother and friend want to work with Reigen, then they can.
"Oh, I see." He said, glancing over at Shigeo's desk and noticed the paper. "Is that the highschool application? I heard they were finally being passed out today." He asked as he walked his way over to Mob's side and looked down at the paper. Mob turned away from Ritsu and looked down at the paper, slightly nodding. "If you need help on deciding, don't hesitate to ask," Ritsu said, smiling down at Mob, who smiled back before returning his gaze at the table.
"Um... I guess I do need help." The raven-haired muttered, making the younger brother look at him curiously. "On what?" Ritsu questioned as Mob played with the pencil between his fingers and finally said.
"I think I wanna do the hero course."
This immediately caught Ritsu's attention, his eyebrows were raised and his eyes slightly widened at the sudden sentence. "The hero course? What made you change your mind about taking that instead of the General Education?" Not that it bugged Ritsu, he was just simply wondering at the change. Shigeo has talked about taking General Education for his highschool years from time to time, but he rarely mentioned about becoming a hero.
"I've been thinking about it lately..." Mob answered, though, he was mostly looking back at the word's (Y/n) had told him earlier. "...but I don't know if I should."
"Whatever decision you decide, I'll support it either way," Ritsu stated, "but if it were me, I would go for the hero course." Ritsu always wanted to be some sort of hero, seeing how the adults would save people from danger made him secretly happy. Heck, he sorta planned what he wanted to do for future plans until that was wiped away when he was told he was Quirkless.
A sudden thought occurred to the younger brother, making him abruptly ask. "More importantly, though, what highschool are you wanting to go? You haven't mentioned which one specifically." There was a pause. Mob formed a small sweat and continued looking down at the desk. "U-Um... U.A...."
Now, this surprised Ritsu even more. "U.A.? The school (Y/n) wants to go to as well? I heard it's one of the hardest schools to get in." Mob only nodded while his younger brother just formed a small smile and started walking out of his room. "Like I said, I'll support whatever you choose, Nii-san. Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
With that, Ritsu closed his bedroom door and left Mob alone in his thoughts. The more he thought of (Y/n) and her words, the more he started seeing a small positive light in him and was being slowly persuaded. Maybe U.A. can help him control his power more, that's all he's ever wanted. He's wanted to protect the people he cared for and loved from harm's way, and this could be a start in doing that.
And with that conclusion, that leads to Mob choosing the course and U.A. and surprising the class, his teacher, and (Y/n) the next day when he turned it in. Now, it was after school that day, both (Y/n) and Shigeo were at Reigen's office again, looking at their boss from their seats. They had just explained to the dark blonde that they chose the school they wanted to go to, which made Reigen spit out the drink he was drinking due to the information.
"You guys want to go to U.A?!" Reigen shrieked, his hands slammed against his desk as he stared at both (Y/n) and Mob, who nervously nodded. "But Master... didn't you say that you went to U.A. as well?" Mob questioned, clearly catching Reigen off-guard as the rat cleared his throat and slowly nodded, a sweat forming. "Erm, yes... I did. I was the top student in my class. Only reason why I'm surprised is that I never thought you guys would apply to that school, especially you, Mob." The blonde quickly said, regaining his posture as the boy flinched.
Mob looked down and shifted in his spot as (Y/n) eyed him in the corner of her eyes. All-day, she was wondering and curious as to why he suddenly wanted to change his mind, or so she thought. She was positive that he wouldn't aim for U.A. of all places, but it's nice to get a change once in a while.
Mob remained quiet and looked off at the side while (Y/n) glanced away from him and over at Reigen. "I've wanted to go to that school for quite a while actually." Reigen hummed in response, standing up from his desk and looked down at the two teenagers. "Well, if you two want to get yourselves in U.A., first, you must start training."
"Weren't we training already?"
"Yes, but now we have to amp up the game," Reigen stated, as he did his many hand movements before pointing between his two disciples. "Muscles!"
"Huh?"
"If you want to get into U.A., you gotta be fit," Reigen declared. "and you guys don't have the most athletic body, so starting today, I, Reigen Arataka, will be your personal fitness coach!" He smirked while his disciples just stare at him with small sweats.

Two days later - Early Morning at Dagoba Municipal Beach Park
Big trash surrounded the small portion of the beach and within that trash, Izuku was trying to pull a heavy fridge with the support of a rope, straining a lot while All Might, who was in his buff form, sat on the fridge and stared at him. "Hey, hey, hey! This is such a comfy fridge to sit on!"
While Izuku tries to pull harder, he accidentally trips, making him fall face-first on the ground and slightly groan. "If you could move it even a little it would be a little easier." All Might said as Midoriya pushed himself off the ground and sighed and looked over at the hero. "Well yeah, I mean you weigh 274 kilograms, right?" The man looks away and his smiling face could be seen as sheepish looking. "No, I lost weight, so I'm only 255 kilograms now, in this form."
The timid boy let out a sigh of relief and turned away from the #1 hero and over at the trash. "Anyway, why am I dragging trash at the beach park?" All Might just laughs and pulls out his phone as he starts taking pictures at Izuku. "It's 'cause, you know, you're not a proper vessel."
"What you're saying now is the opposite of what you said before!" Midoriya cried, looking at All Might before looking away and let out a yell while All Might jumped down from the fridge and continued taking pictures at the poor boy. "I'm talking about your body." The man said, approaching him and making Izuku stop yelling and look over at him. "My Quirk, One For All, is the fullest psychical ability of many people gathered into one." All Might started to explain, "An unprepared body cannot inherit it fully. The limbs will come off and the body will explode."
"The limbs will what?!" Shrieked the boy before shaking his head and rubbed his hands up his arms. "Then... I'm picking up trash in order to train my body...?" he looks back up at All Might, who gives him a thumbs up. "Yes! But that's not all." He turns around and trots his way over to the fridge. "After some research on the internet yesterday, I discovered that part of this beach park's coast has been like this for many years." He taps on the fridge with his knuckles which instantly causes a dent to form.
Izuku stands up from the ground, looking around at the trash. "Yeah. For some reason, because of the currents, objects drift here a lot, and people take advantage of that to hide their illegal dumping... The local residents don't come near here, either." He looks back at All Might and watches him walk behind the fridge, saying. "Heroes these days are all after the showy stuff." He slaps his hand on the roof and pushes it down with force. "Originally, being a hero meant doing volunteer service. Even if people called that boring or whatever. You can't waver from those roots."
Once the crushed fridge hits the ground, a huge gust of wind was sent out, which causes some trash behind All Might to fly high in the sky and reveal the rising sun. "You will restore the horizon for this whole section! That is your first step toward becoming a hero!" Midoriya's eyes widen at All Might speech, looking around the trash in bewilderment. "My first step...? Clean... this... All of it...?!"
The boy sweats nervously as All Might stands straight and puts a hand on his hip. "Young Midoriya, you want to go to U.A., right?" Izuku immediately turns around and responds. "Yes... Yes! Because it's where you went!" He then smiles, small blush dusting his cheeks as he puts a hand on his chest and looks down with shining eyes. "So if I'm going to go... I thought... it would definitely have to be U.A...."
"You're a go-getter fanboy!" All Might chuckles, making Midoriya shyly chuckle as well. "But I've told you this before." The hero says, putting both his wrists on his hips as he looks at the sun. "It's not something you can do without a Quirk. It's sad, but that is what the reality is. And U.A.'s is the hardest hero course to get into. In other words..." He trails off when Izuku lowers his arm and rushes behind him and finishes the sentence. "In ten months until U.A.'s entrance exam, I have to complete my vessel!"
All Might turns around, suddenly holding a stack of papers and taps it. "That's where this comes in! I came up with this: "Aim to Pass: American Dram Plan"!" It was daily schedules and phases for Midoriya to prepare himself for the exam. "It's a training plan to help you finish cleaning up the beach. I'll have you follow this in every aspect of your life!"
Izuku quickly grabs the papers and looks at each and every one of them. "Even sleep time is included..." All Might slides his way over to the boy's side and whispers lowly to him. "Frankly, this is a super hard schedule. Can you follow it?" Midoriya starts to sweat, a somewhat determined face was shown as he continued to stare at the training plan. "Of course... I have to work many times harder than anyone else, or else I can't do it!"
And with that, the training for those ten months began.
Midoriya was pulling trash, hauling them, or running with them on while All Might continued giving praises and boastful cheers. He even began to practice his exercising while at school in secret, though, he would get caught falling asleep in class due to him waking up so early or writing plans on what to do with his training, making Bakugo annoyed whenever Izuku starts his famous muttering.
Meanwhile, Mob and (Y/n) were sorta doing what Midoriya was doing, but less extreme. With the help of Reigen, it was a bit easier . They jogged, lifted a few weights, did floor exercises, practiced their Quirks, and many more.
(Y/n) was sorta getting used to the training, but for Mob, he was still far behind since he has anemia. He was slowly catching on though. His pace was getting faster, he was able to lift heavier weights than Reigen, and he was able to beat (Y/n)'s push-up score, with her's being 19 while Mob's went to 35.

It was now the fall, Midoriya was hauling a safe on his shoulders while All Might, in his True Form, was riding on an electric scooter in a park,Β listening to Izuku's heavy breathing until he heard him fall to the ground. He stops the scooter and looks behind him. "Hey, hey, what's wrong? There are only three months left! You won't make it!" Izuku just lays there, heavily breathing while All Might continued his chant. "Wanna give up? Wanna take it easy and rest today?"
Midoriya weakly tries to move, but his body refused to, which makes All Might's eyes widen. "Overwork...? The "Aim to Pass: American Dream Plan was adjusted with your body in mind to make sure you'd make it in time for the entrance exam..." A sudden realization occurred to the hero. "You haven't been sticking to the plan, have you? Overdoing it will have the opposite effect! Don't you want to get in?"
"I do..." Izuku huffs, clutching his left hand. "But I can't just get in... I have to work a lot more than other people... or I won't be able to catch up..." He shakily, and slowly, starts getting up from the ground while All Might just watches him. "I want to be like you." He looks up at the hero, tears in his eyes while snot was dripping down his nose. "I want to become the greatest hero, like you!"
'He's looking far into the future, huh?' All Might thought before transforming into his hero self and picked the boy up by the back of his exercise clothes. "You go-getter fanboy! I like that! But if that's the case, then you really can't rush things now. But I understand your feelings. Leave it to this old guy to adjust your plan!"
"You're not old... All Might..."
All Might just bellowed a loud laugh at Izuku as he helped the poor boy up to his feet.

February 26 - The Day of the Entrance Exam: 6 a.m.
The three months had finally come to a close. All Might was in his True form, getting out of his truck and walking to the beach while wearing some warm clothing. He stops his walking when he hears Midoriya let out a loud scream, making him look up to see him standing on a pile of trash, shirtless and drenched in sweat as the hero's eyes widened.
All Might jogs over to the stairs leading to the beach, completely astounded as he looks to see it completely cleaned. Not a single bit of trash was left on the sand. "Hey, hey, hey..." He began to mutter, "He even cleaned outside of where I told him to! Seriously? There's not even a speck of dust left! Seriously?!" The man's mouth dropped. "He finished at the last minute! More than perfectly! Oh my... Oh my..." A sudden wave of proudness was in the hero, as he had transformed into his Hero self. "...goodness!"
Izuku stumbles, his body exhausted as he falls over and was about to hit the sand, but All Might quickly rushes over and catches him in his arms. "Good work." He says, making Izuku look up at him and gave a weak smile. "All Might... I did it... I did it!" All Might gives a slight nod, a chuckle can be heard as he responded. "Yeah, you surprised me, you entertainer! Teenagers are amazing!"
He puts Izuku down, making him stumble again before regaining his composure. All Might pulls his phone out of his pocket and opens an earlier picture of what Izuku was like and showed it to him. "Here, take a look." Midoriya looked at the picture with half-lidded eyes. "This is..."
"It's you, ten months ago." All Might stated, staring at the boy with admiration. He came so far from those ten months. Before, he didn't have to strength to hold a heavy tire and was fairly skinny, but now, he was well-built and had cleared everything up. "You did good. You really did!" The man stated proudly. "The mirage of it is finally just barely visible, but you have certainly become a suitable vessel!"
The boy smiled at his hero before looking at his shaking hand. "I feel like I'm cheating..." All Might looked at him questionably, listening to Midoriya continue his sentence with tears falling down his eyes. "You did all this for me... I'm too blessed..." All Might quickly let out a laugh, patting Izuku's back. "We'll have to fix those leaky eyes of yours. Now, it's time for the award ceremony, Izuku Midoriya!"
Izuku quickly wiped the tears away and stared at the tall man, a determined smile was on his face as he nodded. "Yes, sir!" All Might stood in front of him and plucked a piece of his golden hair out and held it between his fingers. "This is something I was once told: "Something that you receive because you're lucky and something that you are given because you are recognized are different in essence." Take that to heart. This power that you earned because of your own effort."
Midoriya stared at the man for a moment before nodding determinedly, his hands balling in a fist as All Might stretched his hand out to him. "Eat this."
"Huh."
All Might chuckled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck. "It doesn't really matter what it is as long as you take in my DNA."
"It's too different from what I imagined!"
"Now, there's no time! You'll be late for the exam! Come, come, come!"

8:40 a.m. - The same day: U.A. High School Entrance Exam Location
Izuku quickly jogs his way over to the exam's entrance while other students walk past him with warm attire. Midoriya was wearing his black middle school uniform, gripping his signature yellow backpack. "I made it..." He muttered and began walking his way in, looking up at the tall building. 'In the end, I didn't have time to test out the power I received from All might.'
He thought to himself and as he looked back on it, he slightly groaned. He held his hand up to his mouth, eyes half-lidded as he muttered to himself. "I swallowed the hair, but did I really receive his power...?"
"Outta my way, Deku!"
Midoriya's eyes open fully, removing his hand from his mouth and looked behind him to see Bakugo approaching, wearing his middle school uniform and a light yellow scarf wrapped around his neck. "Kaachan!" The boy exclaimed while Bakugo just narrowed his eyes and growled lowly. "Don't stand in front of me. I'll kill you."
Instantly, Izuku flinches and gives a nervous smile while stuttering. "M-Morning. Let's both do our best..." He stops himself when he watches Bakugo just walk past him, leaving him confused and looked over at him. People noticed Bakugo's appearance, making them start gossiping and whisper to each other.
"Hey, isn't that Bakugo? The one with the sludge villain?"
"Oh, he's the real thing!"
Midoriya forms a thin line on his lips and furrowed his eyebrows. 'Ever since that day, Kaachan didn't do anything to me.' He looks away and lets out a sigh, slumping forward. 'I was just scared of him out of habit!' He shakes his head and stands up straight, a firm look now showing as he looks up at the school's symbol. 'I'm different from before! Remember these past ten months! Take the first step...' He smiles to himself, his legs shake for a tad moment before he moves forward. '...to being a hero!' But he trips himself and starts falling to the ground.
'Or I'll just die.'
A force suddenly abrupts his fall, making him stare at the ground dumbfounded. "Are you all right?" A girl's voice spoke, making Izuku return back from his confused gaze and begin letting out small shrieks as he was floating in the air. The girl quickly helps him to his feet, making him look over to see her. The girl had short brown hair that reached the edge of her chin along with small pink circles on her cheeks. She wore a pink scarf with a white grid on it and wore a dark brown coat.
She smiled at him before closing her eyes and pushed her fingers together. "It's my Quirk. Sorry for using it without asking first. But it'd be bad luck if you fell, right?" Izuku just stared at her, his eyes widened as she continued her smile and held her backpack straps. "Aren't you nervous?" The poor boy flinched and he started fumbling over his words. "Uh..."
"Let's do our best." The girl said, now opening her eyes and began walking away without giving him a small wave first. "See ya!" Midoriya watches the girl leave, stuck in his spot before a derpy smile made its way on his lips and a small blush forming. 'I talked to a girl!' He began cheering to himself, not realizing he was being rather loud as his peers began looking at him confusedly and nervously.
While Izuku was congratulating himself, at the U.A. Entrance Exam, Mob and (Y/n) had finally arrived. Both of them, of course, were wearing their Salt Middle School uniforms along with scarves; Mob wearing a light blue one while (Y/n) wore an (F/c) color one with small zig-zags on it. The two stare up at the building, both gawking and admiring it. (Y/n) formed a bright smile, looking over at Mob and said. "We're finally here. Are you nervous?" Mob looked back at her, then at the ground as he shifted in his spot. "Ah... A little. What about you?"
"Extremely."
Mob looked back at her saw her chuckle meekly with small sweat forming at the side of her head. The boy formed a small, comforting, smile at her and said. "You'll do great. You always are." For some reason, (Y/n) turned pink at his sincere words. He said it so smoothly, it sorta caught her off guard, but regardless, it helped her bit. "T-Thanks." She replied, cursing herself for the stutter.
They then began walking towards the building, glancing at a few students from different schools or some they recognized due to the uniform. They noticed Izuku standing still with the same smile on his face, wondering why people were looking at him or what he was doing, but they brushed it off and entered inside.

U.A. High School Hero Couse - Exam Orientation
After Mob and (Y/n) removed their warm attire and were seated at their school section and by each other, the lights inside the exam room started to turn on while the big screen in front of them also turned on revealing their logo. "For all you examinee listers tuning in, welcome to my show today!" A man announced. The man had long, spiky blonde hair with a small mustache. He wore glasses and headphones while also wearing a black costume. "Everybody say "hey"!"
Silence.
"What a refined response." The blonde said. "Then I'll quickly present to you the rundown on the practical exam! Are you ready? Yeah!"
Silence, yet again.
From his seat, Izuku's eyes shine at the man, his fingers covering his mouth as a blush circled his cheeks. "It's the Voice Hero, Present Mic! Wow...! I listen to him every week on the radio. I'm so moved! All the teachers at U.A. are pro heroes!" Next to the excited boy was Bakugo, whose arms were crossed as his gaze on Present Mic never leaving. "Shut up."
"As it says in the application requirements," Present Mic started to explain, "you listeners will be conducting ten-minute mock urban battle after this!" The screen behind him started to present the exam room, and seven sections by letters. "You can bring whatever you want with you. After the presentation, you'll head to the specified battle center, okay?"
Again, it was silent.
"Okay?!"
Bakugo and Izuku picked the Exam Tickets that were sitting on the desk, looking at it for a moment. Katsuki looked over at Midoriya and said. "In other words, they won't let you work with your friends, huh?" Izuku flinches, a small nervous smile forming as he looked back at his paper to see that he was in Battle Center B while Bakugo's was A. "Y-You're right. Even though our examinee numbers are consecutive, we're assigned to different battle centers."
"Don't look. I'll kill you." Bakugo hissed as Izuku backed away and continued his nervous smiling. The blonde clicked his tongue in annoyance. "Damn, now I can't crush you."
Meanwhile, (Y/n) and Mob were both looking at their Exam Tickets, with (Y/n) grimacing at the picture of herself with her eyes closed and her smiling. She looked over to see what Battle Center she'll be in. She glanced over at Mob and leaned over to his ear, whispering. "What Battle Center are you in? I got B." Mob flinched at her closeness, turning slightly red before looking back at his ticket. "I-I'm in B t-too."
(Y/n) smiled to herself and moved away. "I guess we're the lucky ones, huh? But now we gotta pretend were not," She then quoted the air, "friends or else they'll catch on and separate us." Mob nodded in response, glancing at her before looking back at his card then placing it down and returned his attention back to Present Mic.
The screen then changed to a picture of tall buildings and what looked like a city. "Three different types of faux villains are station in each battle center." Present Mic continued, as pictures of three robots appeared and showed how many points they were worth. "You earn points for each of them based on their level of difficulty. Your goal, dear listeners, is to use your Quirks to earn points by immobilizing the faux villains. Of course, attacking other examinees and any other unheroic actions are prohibited!"
The pro-hero then waved his finger to the air until a student stood up from his spot and raised his hand. "May I ask a question?" Present Mic looks over at the boy and points his finger at him, smiling. "Okay!" A spotlight shined down on the boy. He had blue hair, blue eyes, and sharp eyebrows as he also wore glasses.
He was fairly tall and his body looked like a box. He held the paper up of the faux villains and their points as he tapped on a fourth one they haven't mentioned. "On the printout, there are four types of villains. If that is a misprint, then U.A., the most prominent school in Japan, should be ashamed of that foolish mistake." He lowers the paper and holds his blue striped tie as other students look over at his outburst. "We examinees are here in this place," He then holds up a fist, "because we wish to be molded into exemplary heroes."
He then looks behind him and points at Izuku, who was also staring at him. "In addition, you over there with the curly hair--" Izuku looks around then points at himself, sweat forming as the blue-haired boy stated. "You've been muttering this whole time. It's distracting! If you're here on a pleasure trip, then you should leave immediately!" The students begin to quietly giggle and laugh at Izuku being called out, making the boy cover his mouth and looked down at his desk. "I'm sorry..."
"I feel bad for him..." Muttered (Y/n), looking at the green-haired boy as Present Mic started calming everyone down. "Okay, okay, Examinee Number 7111." He gives the blue-haired boy a thumbs up. "Thanks for the great message." The fourth faux villain then appeared on the screen. "The fourth type of villain is worth zero points. That guy's an obstacle, so to speak. There's one in every battle center-- An obstacle that will go crazy in narrow spaces. It's not impossible to defeat, but there's no reason to defeat it, either. I recommend that you listeners try to avoid it."
The blue-haired boy, who was still standing and had the spotlight on him, bows and says. "Thank you very much! Please excuse the interruption!" He then sits down and the lights disappear as people started mumbling to each other about the fourth faux villain.
"I see... it's like the obstacles you avoid in video games, huh?"
"The whole thing is like a video game."
"That's all from me!" Present Mic shrieks, "Finally, I'll give you listeners a present--our school motto! The hero Napoleon Bonaparte once said: "A true hero is someone who overcomes life's misfortunes." Go beyond. Plus Ultra!" Present Mic says as a glow shines in Izuku's eyes while he picks up a piece of paper.
"Now, everyone, good luck suffering!"

U.A. High School Hero Course - Entrance Exam: Battle Center B
After being transported to the Battle Center on the bus, everyone who was assigned at Center B was changed into their exercising clothes. Mob was wearing his middle school exercising clothes since he didn't have a lot of training attires. The top was white with the outlines being red and the shorts were all red. (Y/n) was wearing a purple, short-sleeved, workout hoodie and black, baggy, pants. The group of examinees stared up at the Battle Center's gate and stared at awe.
"What is this?"
"It's like a city!
"They have more than one of the school grounds?"
"U.A.'s amazing!"
On and on, people gawked and talked about the Battle Center and U.A. while Izuku stood at the very back, his famous nervous smile appearing until he slapped both his cheeks and shook his head. "Mock battles..." He looked over at everyone, noticing them either stretching, talking to people, or standing still. "How can everyone be so confident? Aren't they nervous?" He muttered. "They even have equipment to go with their Quirks..."
His eyes then land on the brown-haired girl from before. "Oh, it's the person I met at the school gates! The nice person! She was assigned to the same battle center, huh?" He muttered yet again and began making his way over to her in a very robotic way. 'Oh yeah, I have to thank her for earlier.' He stops walking though when he feels a strong hand on his shoulder, making him look over and flinch when he noticed it was the blue-haired boy from before. 'He's here, too?'
The boy glances over at the girl, noticing how she was prepping herself up and says. "That girl appears to be trying to focus." He then looks back at Midoriya. "What are you doing here? Are you taking the entrance exam to interfere with everyone else?" At the sudden outburst, yet again, everyone looks over at the two with curiosity.
Mob and (Y/n) were chatting with each other, both stretching a bit until they look over at them as well, with (Y/n) frowning slightly. 'He keeps getting called out today, huh?' She thought to herself as Izuku shakes his head and waves his arms. "N-N-No, of course not..." Instantly, people started recognizing him and began talking about the poor boy.
"That guy's the one who was about to trip in front of the school gates, right?"
"The one who winced after being called out."
"At the very least, we have one less rival to worry about, huh?"
"Lucky for us."
'I feel like the others think they lucked out because I'm here...' Izuku thought until the sound of Present Mic's voice rang out on one of the watchtowers. "Okay, start!" The group looked up at him confusedly, which makes Present Mic raise a brow at them below. "What's wrong? There are no countdowns in real fights! Run, run! The die has been cast, you know!"
"Huh? Huh?"
Izuku looks behind him to see everyone beginning to rush in the Battle Center's entrance, hurrying as the green-haired boy was left behind. "What?! I... I'm behind already!" He screamed and began following the others. As they enter in a group still, Mob was panting hard next to (Y/n) while her breath steading as she couldn't help but look over at the timid boy in worry.
A small thought formed in her head, which made her smile and look down at him. "Tell you what! After we finished the exam, I'll buy you some milk!" Instantly, Shigeo's eyes widened and they began to shine, a bright smile showing despite struggling to breathe, "Really?"
"Yup!" (Y/n) grinned, before the group started splitting off. "Good luck, Mob! You'll do great!" And with that, the two separated and went their own ways. Meanwhile, Izuku was still far behind, running around as he kept reassuring himself. 'Calm down, calm down. It's fine. It's fine! I have All Might with me.' As he kept running and assuring himself, one of the faux villains bursts out of a building, making Midoriya stop in his tracks and gasped. "One point!"
The faux villain turned and stared at Izuku, it's robotic voice stating. "Target acquired. I'll kill you!" It begins charging at him and reel it's arm back, making Midoriya yelp. "It's coming! It's coming! It's coming!" He tries to move, but his body refuses him to, making him shake in fear and stare at the oncoming faux villain. 'Why can't I move? Idiot, why?!' He closes his eyes, waiting for the hit to come until a bright blue laser destroys the robot.
"Thanks for distracting it!" Izuku eyes shot open and he looks over to see a boy with stylish blonde hair and sparkly, purple eyes stare at him with his hands behind his back. "A laser?" The blonde just smiled. "Merci! We made a good team. But I don't think we'll meet again." He sends a wink at the green-haired boy before dashing off. "Adieu!" Midoriya just watches him leave, a brow raised as he mumbled. "We won't meet again...?"
"Six minutes and two seconds left!"
Instantly, Midroiya gasps and starts to panic. "Oh no! Oh no! Oh no!" He begins running and starts looking around, but whenever he went, the faux villains were wither destroyed or someone was taking care of them. "Points... I need points fast!" He continues running until he comes across a two-point faux villain, making him stop and stare at it with a small sweat. 'There's one! I need to act fast!'
As he was about to charge at the robot and ready to attack it, it suddenly floats in the air with a purple and bluish aura surrounding it, making Midoriya stop his running and stare at it in puzzlement. The robot then gets crushed by a force, and the aura disappears and drops the faux villain. Izuku's eyes widened and his mouth drops as he stares at the black smoke now coming out.
"Oh, were you trying to get that? I'm sorry."
Izuku looked up at the source to see it was Mob, his hand revealing that aura before it disappeared. 'H...He just crushed it like it was nothing!' Izuku thought to himself, shaking in astonishment as Mob started growing embarrassed at his gaze. "I'll be out of your way next time. I'm sorry, again." Mob apologized one more time before he walked away.
Izuku eyes followed his form and rush over and peek at the corner to see him take down more faux villains like they were a pest. 'He's so strong! How?!' But the boy shook his head and dashed off. 'There's no time to think, I gotta find a point... fast!' While Midoriya rushed away, Mob was still taking down the robots by either destroying them or turning them off.
He destroys, yet, another one and drops the robot to the ground, staring at it until a sudden figure was in the corner of his eyes. He looked up to see (Y/n) swinging on her webs, a big smile on her face as she noticed a two-pointer and a three-pointer. Her smile grew bigger as the robots noticed her, both ready to attack her until it was cut short with the Spider girl sending a web out of her hands and began wrapping them together.
The faux villains tried escaping the sticky web, but it was no use, as (Y/n) had pulled on the web and swung it behind her shoulder. The two robots get destroyed as she retreats her webs back to her hands with a triumphant smile before swinging off again. Mob watched the whole thing go down with an amazed smile, his eyes glowing at (Y/n)'s movements. '(Y/n) looks so cool. It looks like she's having fun.' He thought to himself, staring at her from afar before continuing on his way.
As (Y/n) continued swinging around, she took notice of a one-pointer. She smirked and swung her way down to it, ready to attack, but a yellow aura surrounded the faux villain and was sent flying into a building, making (Y/n) yelp and pulled herself back from harm's way. She quickly looks over at the source to see a boy with shaggy, unkempt blonde hair, and piercing blue eyes had stolen the point from her.
He stared at the destroyed robot with a smug look before glancing over at (Y/n). He sent her a smirk before he walked off, leaving her alone with the robot.
Back with Midoriya though, he rushes out from an alleyway and gasps when he sees most of the faux bots had been destroyed by a ton of other examinees. He quickly looks around, trying to find at least one until he spots the same girl running. 'The nice person!' He watches her use her fingers and tap against the robots as it sent them floating in the air.
The girl placed her fingers against each other, her voice straining as sweat started dripping down her face. "Release!" The faux villains were then dropped to the ground with a crash while she panted. She looked behind her, muttering. "That's twenty-eight points!" She then ran off while Izuku stared in shock. 'What? Twenty-eight?' He then notices the blue-haired boy dash over to a two-pointer and destroys its head with his feet. "Forty-five points!"
"Forty-five?!" Izuku was now starting to panic even more as others started announcing their point out loud.
"That's thirty-two!"
"That one's mine! Don't take it!"
"It's first-come, first-served!"
'The number of enemies is decreasing fast!' The panicked boy shouted, worried tears forming his eyes. 'Oh no!' Izuku begins running around, still desperate to find a faux villain until the ground begins to shake and several buildings collapse. Everyone stops what they were doing and looks up to see a giant faux villain, a.k.a, the Arena Trap. Izuku let's out a small squeal, his body shaking as he started sweating bullets. 'Isn't it a little too big?'
The Arena Robot then reels back it's giant fist and sends a punch down to everyone, a huge gust of wind blowing against the group as they let out small yelps. Amongst the group stood Mob and (Y/n), side by side while Mob simply had a barrier around them. Mob stood so casually for people to notice with (Y/n) slightly covering her face and in a stance. Once the wind died down, all that was left was dust flying in the air.
The group of examinees began running away from the robot. "Okay... I think that's our cue to join the others." (Y/n) muttered, her eyes staring wide at the giant machine before grabbing Mob's wrist and began running with the others. The boy stumbled on his footing from how fast he was being dragged but eventually caught on as they hear Present Mic yell out to the crowd.
"Less than two minutes left!"
They continued running until a sudden loud crash made them stop and turn around. Everyone's eyes widened at the scene and their mouths dropped, including Mob's. The giant robot had been punched in the face from none other than Izuku after he saw the girl's for trapped underneath that rubble. The punched caused Midoriya's arm to get swollen and turn purple from the impact. Everyone was just stuck in their spots. They were just staring up at him with so many emotions in them.
"One minute left!"
Oh yeah, they completely forgot about the time as well. Midoriya, who was still high in the sky, gasps and begins to fall down, a panic scream ringing out as he grew nearer. 'Wait, this is All Might's power. I'm able to jump this high now. Landing should be a piece of cake-cake-cake-cake...' But all his limbs except for his left arm had been broken from the overwhelming power Izuku used. 'Break?!'
He then started screaming again as tears edged his eyes yet again, but he shook them away. He clenched his teeth together and glared down at 'Think! What do? What to do?' He quickly remembered a move All Might had used in several fights. 'Detroit Smash! If I am that move at the ground...! Both my legs and my right arm are broken. I only have my left arm! And the timing-- If I'm too early or too late, I'll die! Even if I succeed, I still won't have any points!' He balled his hand into a fist and reeled back. 'if I break my left arm, there's no way I'll pass!'
He continued getting close to the ground, screaming loudly until he was suddenly slapped across the face from the girl. Izuku suddenly floats and gasps while the girl touches her fingers together. "Release..." Izuku was then dropped on the ground and a piece of a Faux Villain she was on drops as well. The girl lets out a small sigh, but she quickly covers her mouth, hunches over, and throws up.
'I'm safe...' The poor boy started to think, stiffly looking up at the girl with the same tears. 'No, she saved me... Is she all right? She looks uninjured, at least...? I'm so glad... And... thank you!' He forms a fist again and the tears fall down his face while he begins to weakly crawl. "If I can just get one point..." But unfortunately, Midoriya doesn't get that option as the time was already done.
"Time's up!" Present Mic grinned and the alarms start blaring for people to stop. Everyone sighed and looked somewhat relieved, but not for poor Izuku, he still hadn't gotten a point he desperately needed. It shocked the boy so badly that his eyes begin to roll behind his head and fainted right at the spot. The alarms soon stopped and people immediately looked over at Izuku, whispering to each other once again.
"What was that guy?"
"He suddenly jumped at the obstacle."
"He seemed to have a reinforcement-type Quirk, but that was unusual..."
"But if he had such an amazing Quirk, what kind of life did he live that made him so jumpy?"
"Maybe he was acting to trick others?"
"But it doesn't look like he gained anything from doing so."
"Anyway, there's no mistaking that he's an amazing guy."
The Spider girl and Psychic boy stare at Izuku's form in awe as the loud chatter continued. "Wow..." (Y/n) breathed out when the sound of an elder woman's voice spoke, making everyone look behind them to see a short old lady wearing a hero costume and walking with a cane. She had a small syringe between her grey hair bun as she also wore a purple visor. Her clothing looked like a lab coat and she had yellow gloves on. "Okay, good work. Good work, good work."
She digs in her coat and pulls out a few gummy bears. "Here you go. Here are some gummies." She gives it to one examinee, who smiles down at her and gently bows. "Thanks." She smiled back and continued walking, this time, making her way over to both Mob and (Y/n). She dug in her lab again and held the gummy bears in her hand. "Yes, yes, you, too."
The two look down at her, blinking a few times then accepting the gummies. "Thank you." They both said, bowing their heads and looking at the squishable bears in their hand as she walked away and over to Izuku.
In the group was the blonde with purple eyes, who chuckled and winked while pointing. "That Mademoiselle is the backbone of U.A." The Spider girl and Psychic boy glance at him before watching the old woman approaches Izuku's fainted body. "Oh dear, you were hurt this much by your own Quirk?" She frowned at his state. 'It's as if his body is not used to his Quirk yet.'
The old lady then puckered her lips, crouched down, and gave a small kiss on Izuku's head. "Kiss...!"
"Wh-What was that?" Someone asks as the same blonde from earlier answers his question while holding his arms. "U.A. High's licensed school nurse..." The old lady stands up and smiles while other examinees stare at her with mixed emotions, "... the Youthful Heroine, Recovery Girl!" A green aura then began to form around Izuku's right arm and legs as it began healing the broken bones and swollen arm. "Her Quirk is the super-activation of healing ability. U.A. can only go through with such a reckless entrance exam because of her."
"Let's finish this quickly. Is anyone else injured?" Recovery Girl questions, looking around as some examinees respond with a shout or raise their hands.

One Week Later
The sun had just finished setting. Shigeo was in his pajamas, eating dinner with his family in silence. He scooped up some rice in his spoon and brought it to his mouth to only have the spoon bend and drop the food. He looks down at the table and the mess. "Ah..." His mom looks up from her bowl, a small sigh was let out as she began to scold him. "That's the third time you bent a spoon this week. You really need to drop that habit."
"Come on now, hon," His dad spoke as Mob was cleaning up the mess while Ritsu grabbed the spoon and slowly fixed the spoon back to normal, "I'm sure Shigeo is nervous about his test results. I would be too if I was in his shoes, so let him bend as many spoons as he wants." His dad smiled while Shigeo sheepishly smiled as well. His mom, again, sighs and returns back to eating her food. "Well, I understand that without a doubt, but maybe not our silverware."
"Don't worry too much about it, Nii-san," Ritsu reassured, handing the spoon back to his older brother. "I'm sure you'll get in, after all, you do have an amazing Quirk." Shigeo smiles warmly back at his brother, grabbing the spoon and nodded his head.
After everyone was finished with dinner, Shigeo had returned to his room and finished setting up his tatami futon on the floor, he walked over to his bookshelf and grabbed the manga he was currently reading. He sat down on the bed and opened the part it was bookmarked on. Silence had loomed the air for the boy's reading.
If he were, to be honest, he felt a tad bit nervous about the results. He didn't keep count on how many points he collected on that exam and he felt like he didn't reach the expectation. He continued his reading, flipping to the next page until his bedroom door swiftly opened. He ripped his eyes away from his book to see Ritsu standing at the door with a wide-eyed expression. "Nii-san!"
"Ritsu? What's wrong?"
His younger brother then held up a white envelope with a red wax seal in the middle. "Your results, it's here!"
Mob's body froze and his eyes were glued on the white case. He began to sweat bullets as he slowly stood up and staggered his way over to Ritsu. He gently grabbed the letter and walked over to his desk. Ritsu closed the door behind him and watch his brother's hands shake. "Do you want me to leave you alone?" He asks, but Shigeo shakes his head. "No, no. You're fine. You don't have to leave."
Mob lets out a small sigh and hesitantly began opening the envelope. In it, was a nicely folded, white piece of paper. He grabbed it from the case, opened the folded paper, and began reading it. Ritsu just stood near the bedroom door, waiting in anticipation until Mob had let out a small gasp.

"Nii-san?"
Mob looked away from the letter and over at his brother. His eyes were glowing and a small smile was on his lips. "I... I got accepted."
"W-Wait, really?"
Mob only nodded, handing the letter to his brother. "Here." The spiky-haired boy grabbed the letter and began reading it as well. He looked away from the paper. "Congratulations, Nii-san! I knew you would make it."

(Y/n) was sitting on her couch, a bucket of ice cream sitting on her lap as she was just watching some random thriller movie. She took a scoop and shoved it in her mouth before repeating the cycle over and over again until her parents came into view and stood in front of the screen.
She stopped eating her ice cream and placed it in the bucket as she looked up at them. (Y/n) most definitely had her mom's looks, since her dad was completely different from the two. Her dad had eight arms and had eight eyes, just like a real spider. You can guess where she gets her Quirk from. Her mom's appearance was normal like her, and her Quirk was Bat. Despite not looking like one, when she uses her Quirk, that's when the appearance will show, as she it helps her fly, use echolocation, and use an ultrasonic attack.
"What's up?" (Y/n) asked, raising a brow at their smiling selves. "Well..." Her mom dragged out, glancing at her husband before smiling down at her daughter. She then stretched her right arm over to (Y/n) and held the U.A letter to her. "Guess what just came in the mail~!" The (H/c)ette nearly choked on her saliva, her eyes shooting open at the letter as she snatched it and held it in both her hands.
Her parents sat down on the otherwise of the couch, giggling at their daughter's reaction. "Well? Aren't you going to open it?" Her dad questioned. The girl bit her inner cheek then proceed to rip it open. There, the letter gently floated to the ground, making her quickly shoot a web and retreat it back to her hands. She gulped. She heard amazing stories of this school from her grandma and how she enjoyed her time being there.
She flipped open the paper and started reading it in a fast pace. Her heart skipped a beat. She got accepted. U.A. accepted her. "I'm going to U.A.!" She squealed, looking over at her parents to see them ecstatic at the news. She rushed to their side and hugged them both, making them laugh and hug her back. "We knew you were going to make it! Our little girl is going to become a pro-hero!"
(Y/n) chuckled back, but quickly pulled away. "I gotta tell Shigeo about this." She snatches her phone and rushes her way upstairs. "I'll be back!" She enters her bedroom. Her room was sorta similar's to Mob's, but it was more cramped. She had posters on the walls, figurines, and albums stacked on a shelf along with books too. She jumped on her bed and dialed the boy's number, listening to it ring until it was picked up.
Hello?
"Hey, Mob! I got the U.A letter!"
I got mine too, what a coincidence.
"Did you open it?"
There was a pause.
I did. I got accepted.
A grin made its way on her face. "Seriously? That's amazing! I got into U.A too!" From the other side of the phone, Mob smiled at his friend's excitable tone.
It made him happy she finally got in. Hopefully, this school will make the best of their high school years.
