YOUR name was called by your good boss, Kiyomizu. As you stood up from your office chair and walked your steps towards him, he spoke; "We will be having a new member for the Metropolitan Police Department Modern Crime Prevention.."

"So..?" you raised a brow at him, not having a single clue what you are supposed to do with the 'new member'.

The boss in front of you continued, "..so with that being said, I am asking you and Haru Kato to keep an eye out for him on his first day today."

You nodded stoically but demonic screaming was hovering inside your head. You were supposed to have a day off today but seems like the world hates you.

An exasperated sigh escaped your lips as you sat back down on your office chair, pulling yourself closer to your computer desk. Kato noticed how you were sulking nonstop, "What's up? Did the boss tell you again a really boring task to accomplish?"

"Dang, yeah." you replied quickly while pouting then you turned your head to look at Kato. "And you're doing the task too." you giggled a little.

Kato laughs sarcastically, "Ha-ha, how funny. Don't lie, you got me." he took a long pause before asking you, "You're joking, right?"

You grinned and chortled at him. You shook your head at him while smirking for a clear answer. Then you saw and heard Kiyomizu saying something to you.

He laughed sarcastically again with a forced smile on his face, "Ha-ha-ha-ha! Again, stop lying! You do know that I deserve a day off today after yesterday, right? I literally saved your ass from that pervert trying to-"

You slapped your palm on his mouth to prevent him from continuing what embarrassing thing he was saying. "Shut up." you grabbed his arm, pulling him and dragging him out of the room.

"We are gonna do the task now. Boss said that the newbie is already outside the building."

"Daisuke Kambe."

The man in an all black-fancy suit showcased his I.D in front of your and Kato's face. Your eyes scanned him from his head to his toes, he already looks like one of those professional CEO's.

"Hey Kato."

"Mhm?"

You leaned closer to your friend's ear, whispering something that could potentially make him annoyed. "You look like the bottom besides to this top newbie."

Kato took steps away from you with a what-the-fuck expression displayed on his face. "I am not gay, (Y/n). What the hell!"

Daisuke glances at his watch, the scene in front of him didn't even bother him a bit. "Where am I supposed to go from here?" he asks, looking at Kato then at you.

When both of you made eye-contact, you can't help but think how gorgeous this man is. You'd by lying if you said that he isn't sexy or attractive at all in first glance. His future wife is so damn blessed.

As you realized that you were already staring at the newbie, you stuttered completely, "U-Uhm, uh.. our boss said that we are going to keep an eye from you today so just do whatever you want?"

Kato wraps an arm around your shoulder which startled you, he was looking directly at Daisuke with that I-got-my-eyes-on-you-maderfucker look; you were just confused.

Dumbfounded, Daisuke just took his exit from the building and you and Kato automatically followed him.

You and Kato was just standing while watching Daisuke buying coffee inside a café. You suddenly smelled something disgusting then you looked at Kato.

"Did you just fart?" you asked him with a concerned look on your face.

"What?.. no, I didn't-"

"It's okay. Release your demons."

Daisuke came back with a fancy coffee drink on his hand, you really can't help but study his appearance because you thought that the perfect man doesn't exist.

"I don't understand what to do." Daisuke mumbles yet you clearly heard what he said because the surroundings was peaceful.

"You don't? Well, too bad." you said while covering your nose while giving Kato a disgusted look.

Daisuke stared at you and Kato for a long second then randomly asked a stupid question. "Are you guys dating?"

Kato glanced at you, not saying anything. You immediately shook your head at the man questioning, "Uh, no. We are just really, really close friends." you emphasized while smiling.

Kato pouts at you, "Are you friendzoning me?"

"Wh..What?"

Daisuke made a tiny smile while watching you and Kato being hilarious. You glared at Kato while he was just smiling like an idiot with a peace sign on both of his hands. "Just kidding."

You yawned, stretching your arms to get rid of those swollen muscles; it felt nice when the warm breeze of the air made you sleepy already. "Are we done already?"

8 o'clock in the evening. It has been three and a half hours since you and Kato have been walking, walking, walking and walking around the city just to follow Daisuke.

So far, both of you still didn't know what the point of this task is for you two.

Daisuke pressed two fingers on his ear while saying something, "HEUSC, get me a car at XXX. I think my first day here is done."

"Wow, are you really just going to leave us here?" you asked Daisuke, he only ignored you which irritated you a lot. What a handsome cold-blooded demon.

You didn't even realized because you were already sleeping but Kato was gently, softly enveloping his fingers on one of your hand while both of you are walking back, heading towards somewhere.

Both of you reached your apartment, he pulled out a spare key he had of the exact same copy of your key for your apartment which you didn't know about; you know, for emergency cases and stuff like that.

He pulled, hauled you gently to get you inside your apartment. Kato sometimes visits your apartment every time when he wants to eat, or lonely or is just bored.

Then he laid you down on your living room couch and grabbed you a comfy blanket. When he was about to leave the apartment quietly, you yawned again and slowly opened your eyes.

You rubbed your eyes like a baby. When you saw Kato just about to leave, you called his name; "Yo.. where am I.." you were so sleepy and exhausted that you kept yawning endlessly.

Kato was surprised you woke up, "Wha.. uhm, you don't remember that you have an apartment?"

He was waiting for your reply but when he takes a short glance at you again, you were asleep again. He mutters something under his breath.

"Wish that you'd stop friendzoning me, (Y/n)."
