It was two hours after school and I was working my ass off. Maybe I don't need those stupid sunglasses?.
Ward comes over with someone new but I feel I recognise them
"Hey Maya, this is John-b he's your new co-worker and I want you to show him the ropes."
"John...b? Why don't people just call you John?"
"Maya, please don't question his name just get to work"
"Okay, okay!! Sorry I was just curious."
Ward walks away
"It's okay it's no problem by the way. It's only because my middle name is Booker and my dad was also called John" john-b explains
"Oh. And sorry if you thought I meant it in a rude way I would never... anyways you ready for the worst hour of your life?" I smile
"As ready as I'll ever be"
"Okay so our job is the anchors and...-"
I bend down into a box
"..Inflatable vests"
I wiggle the vest
He laughs
"I think Sarah would like you. Too bad she's with Topper"
"Really?, you think so?"
"Yeah but don't mention it"
"Your not as bad as JJ makes you out to be y'know"
"OH MY GOD I THOUGHT I RECOGNISED YOU! YOUR A POGUE"
"Yeah" he laughs
"I guess not all pogues are devilish gremlins...huh not what I was expecting"
I bend down and grab 3 vests and store them
"And your not the stuck up heinous bitch we thought we thought you where."
"That's fair...how's jj's 'injuries'?"
"Healing" he says sarcastically
"Too bad. He deserved it I'm guessing"
"He was just trying to get you to slow down on the drinks you drank too much and then he tried to take the cup off you and it flung on your shirt so you got mad. And then he was a bit of a dick so I guess he did"
"Wait?- he was trying to help me?"
"Yeah when I mentioned it to him he said so what she won't remember if I'm nice to her she's wasted"
It goes silent for a few seconds
"Really? He said that? Yeah right very funny."
"He really did but don't tell him I told you."
"Sureeeeeeee. Now you can just take the anchors to the supply cabinet so we can leave early. Here's my key"
"Okay. You got it boss"
"Thank you."
He leaves
I go find Ward
"Hey we're done"
"Already?!"
"Yeah can we leave now?"
"Of course you can, good work"
"Thanks"

John-b's Pov
I walked to the supply cabinet thinking it would only be ropes and junk until I realised it was a boat lover's paradise everything you could ever want and need was here. I couldn't help thinking if I should take some, I mean, she wouldn't notice right? And if she did I'll just leave. I mean, she doesn't deserve to lose her job. But I'm completely sure they won't notice.
I stuff everything I want into a box and walk back upstairs place the box in a corner and walk up to Maya.
"Hey heres your key back we're all set"
"Amazing thank you" she smiled
And left.
I go back to the box and as I'm just about to walk out ward stops me
"What's in the box mr Routledge?"
"Nothing.., just the empty inflatable vests box. I'm taking it to the garbage."
"Oh good man, don't tell Maya I'll slip another 5 dollars into your pay check." He winks
"Thank you, mr Cameron but really I-."
"No really I insist now get yourself home."
"Okay bye"
He leaves

Back to Mayas pov
I walk up to my car then I see John-b going to his...Hippie van?..with a box?! He didn't have a box before.
I walk up to him and ask him why he has that box and he claimed mr Cameron gave it to him for his boat. I knew that was a fat lie because he doesn't do that because even when Topper needed a new spark plug he was so stingy and still wanted him to pay. So he would never give away stuff unless you pay for it no matter who you are or the price. He'd even do the same thing to me! The girl that grew up with his kids.
"I know your lying John-b now just hand me the box and we can come to an agreement to sneak it back in"
He puts the box in his car , gets in and locks the doors
I bang on his window shouting at him to bring it back
He starts the engine and I'm kicking on the door to the point it's dented
And he drives off
"FUCK YOU" I yell
I get into my car and follow him then he goes through an alley way which would not fit my car but lucky I know where he lives I'll just go there and tell his little pogues. I can't believe i actually thought he was different.
I pull up and jj, kie, and pope come out.
I get out of the car
"Hey! JJ your friend is a thieving little rat! I could get fired!!!"
"Well what are you gonna do about it"
Your gonna tell him to bring it back and if he does I'll pay for the dent to be fixed on the 'hippie van' and I'll owe you."
"Hippie van?" Kie says
"Maya, it's called the Twinkie thanks for asking"
"Whatever that doesn't matter anyways will you do it?"
"Beg me" jj says with a sexy smirk on his face
"What!"
"Come on, beg me. Get down on your knees"
"I'm not playing into your weird sexual fantasy you have of me jj it's really unhealthy y'know"

I look down and all I can see is wet mud
"Great let's all just soak our work clothes in mud shall we. And for the record Ward's gonna be pissed"
I get down on my knees
"Please help me jj, I can't do this without you" I say sarcastically
"Say it better"
"Jj stop being a dick. You got what you wanted now go" pope yells at him
"Okay I like him much more than mr I have a dick on my forehead"
"What do you mean?" Jj says confused
They had drawn a dick on his forehead while he was asleep
I laugh
"Nothing nothing now hurry the fuck up I'm gonna lose my job jj"
"How? He did it didn't he?"
"Yes"
"So calm the fuck down he will get fired and the stuff will get taken away"
"No I gave him my key to put some anchors in the supply room I'm the only person with that key and ward will automatically blame me because I gave him it" I explain
"Welp that's your problem there"
"Oh fuck you! I'll do it myself"
"Look maya I'm sorry. I'll do it"
"Really?"
"No" he laughs
I walk away
"Pain in the ass" I say under my breath
"What the fuck man go after her,now" pope says
Jj rolls his eyes and runs after Maya
"Okay I'm actually sorry this time and I will do it"
"Thank you I really appreciate it even tho you where a cunt" I smile
"Whatever let's just get this over with."
