⮫ small world building below, that i believe it's rather important
☄ soldiers and guards are different: with guards often considered of a higher position since they are basically bodyguards. soldiers protect everyone from zombies, and the best soldiers are chosen as guards.
☄ every six months, leader, advisor and guards go to an specific gang. it changes every time, and the meeting can be arranged sooner than planned in case of an emergency.
☄ there are exceptions; rin works as both a bodyguard and soldier, possibly the only guard since they are considered 'perfect'. north's guards don't have that title as such, and they rotate based on who is at top of all the soldiers. it is an honor to be assigned as a guard, but i do believe it is only a formality. yoichi is able to defend himself.
☄ animals aren't affected by the virus; so they are used as messengers between gangs. there are some walkies talkies, but these are only reserved for the higher ups. yori managed to keep hers when she left though, so now the rebels have one as well.
☄ there are members that dont have specific roles. it depends on the gang you are what that means. for example, for north gang that means that you are worth nothing; but for east gang, it simply means that your tasks will not be as heavy

★ — notes ;; a bubbly girl, but who curses a lot! she seems to be decided to find a cure, so cheers for that i guess? but she is clearly too delusional if she believes that she can save everyone. she seems to get along with that rin who he talks so greatly of, and i guess that means she is loyal and would do anything to protect them. that is a huge weakness, she should probably rethink her priorities. she is weak and naive, but she has some knowledge in the medical field and seems to be willing to help the west gang simply because of the 'lets get a cure' goal that belle says to the world. and i mean, it is true, that is the goal of the gang isn't it? but she needs to realize that the ways to acquire that will not be all sparkles and rainbows. is it better manipulation wise for her to not fully accept it? yeah. but it is kinda annoying to some extent, i guess.

★ — danger level ;; eight and higher, i believe it depends on how aggresive they are.
★ — weapon ;; none, for what i know rin uses their body as a weapon
★ — notes ;; belle's best creation, and a kid who seems to be obsessed with jellyfish. i say 'seems', because they are usually quiet and doze off unless you mention that topic, so that is clearly something that interests them. quite sure that rin could speak faster if they wished to, but no one has asked them to so they have not done it. they are... extremely obedient, not caring about their well-being when they fight, or maybe they just lose too much rationality in that state to remember that they are not a doll whose only purpose is to be useful. like, they are really aggresive. they kinda scare me in that state. they lack empathy, i mean, one time i tripped in front of them and they didn't even react! not even a laugh! ugh... but they are useful, useful enough for me not being able to say anything mean about them.

★ — notes ;; appears to be rather similar to rin, yet they have a few differences. i am quite sure that rin just doesn't know what emotions are, while taru doesn't show them as much but i have heard from her supervisor (while she was conscious) that she was nice. i have no idea how i managed to get into that conversation, but it helps me to write this so cheers to that. when she fights, she simply becomes more focused and quiet in her objective, so that is another difference. i am comparing her a lot to rin because he does the same thing and i guess i don't know the kid that much to describe her properly. her interest uh... art and bird watching i believe, might be wrong. oh! and best part of all of this? i am quite sure she is yoichi's sister. that'll be fun, won't it?
