Chapter 15

Disclaimer: I do not own BNHA or the Quirk Impulse. Impulse was created by @hawkin_headlines on Instagram. They have a Comic Villain Deku AU Series on Instagram and I encourage you to check it out. It's really awesome! BNHA itself was created by Kohei Horikoshi. I own nothing but the plot for this story.

Midoriya P.O.V

Right before the trials had began, Caterpillar Man told us that the one with the lowest mark would be expelled. So very typical of the Heroes, to discard those without a strong Quirk. Many failed to see the potential in many Quirkless people, such as myself. Although I no longer am Quirkless, the feeling of loneliness had remained. Then it turned out he was lying.

"...so we won't be expelled?" asked the kid with yellow hair. I couldn't remember his name...was it something like Kaminai? Why did I care, anyways? It's not like I'm planning to stay here at UA forever; just as long as the League needs. Then, I'll be long gone.

"That's right. We only said that so you would work harder." I gritted my teeth, glaring at the man. How very typical. I wonder how many other secrets the Heroes are keeping from us?

"So you were lying?" I asked, rubbing my arm. There was a tender spot where Caterpillar had punched me during our little brawl; and was made worse by the trials to get 'in'. He watched as I rubbed my arm, raising an brow. I dropped my arm and averted my gaze, if only to draw suspicion away.

"Yes. For you own benefit, though." I closed my eyes and sighed. These Heroes just don't get it, do they?

"For now, go into the change rooms and change into your uniforms. Class will start in 10 minutes, with All Might was your teacher. " great. Just great.

-------

After I changed my pants, I tugged my shirt over my head. I dug through my small locker for my uniform. I found it, and put it on, buttoning it up afterwards.

"Hey fucking Nerd." I grinned. So, the wolf has come to speak at last.

"Yes, Katsuki?" I smiled as I turned around, pulling my usual red shoes on. Standing up, I faced Kacchan. As usual, he looked down at me, and I looked up at him. Not only because he was taller than me, but also because he thought I was a weakling.

If only he knew how wrong he was.

"What the fuck happened to Kacchan?" my eyes narrowed. That wasn't what I'd been expecting; but it was sill funny.

"What, do you want me to call you that now?" he frowned, and shook his head.

"No. I just want fucking Dek-Izuku back." wow, so that's what this was about? Smiling, I replied,

"Sorry. Izuku's long gone. I'm Deku." he shook his head, perplexed.

"But...you registered under that name." I smiled up at him, never taking my eyes off his throat. I thought about how easy it would've been to snap it right in half, and watch the light disappear from his eyes bit by bit, until there was nothing but emptiness left. I looked higher, into his eyes.

"The name is all that's left."

Aizawa P.O.V (Hehe surprise!)

That was no ordinary kid. That crazed look in his eyes when he fought me, and how easily he dodged all my attacks were bothering me. He looked relaxed, almost like home when he was fighting. The boy had smooth, graceful movements, which only added to his amazing abilities.

When I had stood up after I entered the classroom, I saw him sitting at the back. Those green orbs were narrowed and he was talking to a spiky haired ash blonde. When I entered face first, I didn't get to see his reaction. Too bad.

During battle, it was almost like a fuse had lit inside him. His eyes widened and he seemed to be enjoying the rush of danger, of battle.

Something told me to be on the lookout.

Midoriya P.O.V

Personally, I would rather die than sit in my seat, listening to All Might rant on and on about the honors of a Hero. Maybe I could get that half and half kid to stab me with a piece of his ice, I didn't know. Maybe borrow one of Himiko's knives!

"Young Midoriya, are you listening?" I nodded, placing my chin on my palm and staring out the window. The worst part, was that All Might didn't even seem to remember me, the boy he passed his power onto! How pathetic.

"Young Midoriya, please tell me what the best way to take down a Villain is, and why." how ironic. I, myself, am a Villain. To answer would pretty much betray my own kin, so I gave them a wrong answer.

"To arrest them." I placed my hands behind my head and leaned back, smiling. All Might's face frowned slightly, but soon morphed back into its typical grin. Insufferable, as always.

"Wrong, Young Midoriya." I sighed. Of course.

"Sorry..." I had to act the part, otherwise I was going to get screwed.

"It's alright. The correct answer is to try to avoid a battle, and try sneak attacking." I nodded, smiling. Turning my head around me, I could see the faces of my 'classmates' staring, with the exception of Kacchan, as usual. That was never going to work. Villains, after all, were smarter than they were given credit for.

"Thanks, All Might."

Not.

--------

Walking back towards the bar a second time, I hummed a little tune. Mixed with sadness, anger. With betrayal. Smiling a tad, I walked towards the 'bad' side of the town. Dark, forbidding buildings lined up along the streets. Cracked windows, brown grass, and shadows loomed from every corner. I liked it here; it made me feel at home.

After turning several corners and walking down abandoned streets, I arrived at the bar. Creaking open the door, I peeked in. Suddenly, I was shoves backwards and fell on my butt. This was the fourth time since I joined the Villains. Dabi was on the couch, scrolling through his phone. Himiko was on top of me, smiling down.

"Izu-kun! You're back! I missed you so much!" I wriggled form underneath her and smiled back.

"I've missed you too, Himiko." she gave me and hug and I hugged her back. Sometimes, feelings like this couldn't be described as words. I felt happy, something I haven't felt in a long time. Giddy, even. And it was all because I had found my home.

--------

"Students, we will soon be hosting a Sports festival in 4 weeks! Before then, we'll do serious trainman with Quirks!" called out All Might before our training had started. A sports festival?

Perfect.
