A PLACE LIKE NEVERLAND

THE MARAUDERS HAD STAYED up until one am--ten hours before the Hogwarts express leaves.
Lily had already gotten her old uniforms ready, folding it neatly as she puts it inside the paper bag. The group flew quickly to the Orphanage, Lily riding with Remus as her broom is a little damaged.
They cast invisibility charms as the cold and quiet wind brush past as James went down to the balcony, sneaking inside the room.
Quiet snores he heard as he approached Gambit's sleeping figure, shaking her softly.
Gambit was startled seeing James in her room,
"What--what are you...?"
James put a finger to his lips, motioning for her to follow him out the balcony.
Gambit saw everyone in their brooms, grinning as they quietly greeted her a happy birthday!
The brunette smiled, thanking them. Asking once again why they were here.
"It's one in the morning?"
Gambit was interrupted as Belle walked out the balcony, seeing the little group and the others flying in brooms.
"Gosh you weren't kidding.."
She huffed, crossing her arms.
Everyone was shocked, the ones flying went down on the ground as the balcony became more crowded.
"Calm your knickers, I know.. Alright, follow me," Belle turned around walking out the room, seeing the group walking carefully behind her as she lead them to the kitchen.
Where Aunt Marge was waiting, brewing tea and making snacks for them.
"Auntie? What's... Going on here?"
"You're leaving today, aren't you? I might as well see you one last time before you fly off," She set the tea down as James stood behind the older woman,
"Do you take sugar or milk in your tea, James?"
Aunt Marge poured milk as James stood silent.
"I don't."
He snickered as Aunt Marge paused, sighed and gave him the tea with milk, "Thank you Auntie," he sipped his tea.
"Getting comfortable, Prongs?"
Sirius laughed, sitting himself down.
Aunt Marge encouraged the teens to help themselves and eat before they leave. She smiled, seeing the table lively as they all talked softly and quietly--trying to not disturb anyone's slumber.
Lily turned to Gambit,
"Here are some of my old uniforms, I'm positively sure they'd fit you."
"Thank you, Lils. I appreciate it," Gambit looked at the paper bag, seeing four white shirts and a grey v-collar.
Gambit already had the grey knee-length stockings and her shoes, all she needed were uniforms which Lily provided.
She didn't mind if they were old.
Belle disappeared for some time but came back holding Gambit's trunk that Aunt Marge and Belle had packed for her,
"You guys didn't have to.."
Gambit sighed, seeing Belle put the trunk on the table.
"These are your clothes, with parchment scrolls. No Quill, so you'd have to buy that at...?"
Belle glanced at Aunt Marge,
"Diagon alley."
"Yes, that place."
Belle yawned, sitting next to Sirius as the seats beside Gambit were both taken.
The other young wizards were confused at how Aunt Marge knew a lot for a Muggle.
"Oh I'm not a Muggle. Technically, I'm a half-blood, but I'm a squib really. My sister told me about Hogwarts during her time there," she reminisced, tea cups softly clanging in the plate below them.
Gambit had slipped away to wash herself and change--wooden board creaked under her as she tried to not wake someone.
Wearing the uniform, she dried her hair with her towel and went down the stairs.
She grabbed her robes, tie and James pointed to the key hidden away by everything in the box,
"Great, we have the key to your vault! We can get you some galleons and you can pay me the five galleons you owe me," the boy grinned, giving her the golden key.
"Is this so important?" "
"Very. You can't get money without that," Peter explained, helping himself with more biscuits and tea.
Sirius tried flirting with Belle but she rejected every advances he made. Remus laughing at Sirius' fails as it was now time for them to go.
⠀
"I love you, Gambit."
"I love you too, Aunt Marge."
They both embraced, before Gambit was engulfed by a tight hug by Belle.
"You better not say goodbye."
Belle whispered,
"I won't..!" Gambit chuckled, "I'll see you soon, Belle. I'll explain everything to Quill once I'm back,"
They stood apart, Belle and Aunt Marge waving the six wizards goodbye.

They rode brooms all the way to Diagon alley, stopping in front a brick wall as the moon is slowly going down. It was now four in the morning, as the group strolled the street.
Gambit looked around, seeing all sorts of people tending to their stores--still closed. They weren't that many people, as she saw kids gawking at the recent broomstick displayed by the window, she saw owls, cats and toads and other pets. Shops also selling robes and mountains of spells books, quills and piles of potion bottles. A shop called Ollivanders.
Lily hooked an arm around Gambit, leading her back to Gringotts bank.
The line was long. James had said this is perfect, with all the shops opening at five, they'd be finished with Gringotts back and can buy supplies for Gambit.
The teenagers waited, patience wearing thin as the line shortened.

James and Gambit strolled at the front, the short girl trying not to stare at the goblin as it spoke with distaste in his tongue.
"Morning! We've come to take some money, please."
James smiled, his neck craning up.
"Out of whose vault, sir?"
"Ah, Ms Gambit Gaunt's safe,"
The goblin paused slightly, but continued. But James' voice echoed as a few heads turned to look at the group,
"You have her key?"
Gambit nodded, showing the goblin her key. He jumped down, received the key and grabbed a lantern. Leading them down a spiral staircase, rubble falling down as he opened up the vault.
Mountains and mountains of money rushed down, almost spilling out the door--some fell to her feet.
Everyone's eyes almost gauged out of their sockets, especially Gambit. She grappled two handfuls of galleons, with shaking hands, putting it inside her coin sack. She turned to James,
"Here's the five galleons I owe you."
"Thank you,"
He smiled, putting it in his pocket.
Before they left, the goblin said something that almost caused them a heart attack.
"There's another vault?!"
"Yes Ms, the second one is combined with your mother's."
The goblin stated, walking back up. Followed with the teenagers,
Gambit's mind imploded as she didn't expect to be rich rich.
