// Ponyboy's Point of View //

I sit at home in the couch, watching tv and eating a bag of marshmallows. Daniel was in the shower and I didn't need to take one.

The house was quiet and I was surprised because it was almost never quiet. Both of us together and you'll get loud noises and laughter.

That's one of the many reasons why I love Daniel. He makes me laugh and has always been able to cheer me up when I feel sad.

But do I really do the same for him? Do I do enough for him to make him happy?

I really hope I do because Daniel is the best thing to ever happen to me and if I lost him, well I would be absolutely lost myself. Sighing, I shut the tv off and stand, careful not to hit my arm.

Today, I was going to do anything Daniel wanted and I was going to do anything Daniel asks me to do, unless he asks me to relax...

Just then, Daniel walks out in his usual mean outfit and a t-shirt. He smiles at me and kisses my forehead.

"How's the arm baby," he asks me.

"Eh, a little pain when I move it too much but it's nothing I can't handle," I say.

"Why don't you relax baby, I don't like when your on pain..."

Oh he did not just tell me to relax. I've been on the couch all morning and he tells me to relax?

"No I'm fine," I say softly.

"Are you sure Pony," Daniel asks. "I can always sit with you."

Well that does sound awful nice right now... Him sitting with me and just cuddling...

Maybe I could just give in this one time and relax with him... Aw man, his cuddles and hugs never seem to fail...

"Yeah, I would like that," I say happily. "I would like that a lot."

He grins and gently lifts me off my feet and sits on the couch, setting me in his lap. I giggle and turn back to look at him.

"I love you, you cutie," he says sweetly. ,I love you an awful lot."

"I love you too Dani, more than anything in the world," I tell him.

"Even chocolate cake," he asks.

"Even chocolate cake," I confirm.

"Then that's an awful lot of love because I know how much you love cake..."

I smile and kiss his cheek, leaning back against his chest. He holds me gently and sighs happily.

"So, besides cuddling, what do you wanna do today hun," Daniel asks.

"Well... I was thinking... We haven't gone on a real date in such a while. Could we go out to dinner," I ask hopefully.

"Absolutely," he says. "Where were you thinking about going?"

"Someplace simple I guess. Cheap and simple."

"Hmm," he hums in thought. "I think I know a place."

"What is it," I ask excitedly.

"You'll have to see tonight baby," he say pecking my lips.

I pout and huff playfully, crossing my arms over my chest. He always does this cause he knows how awful curious I get over everything.

"I swear if you make it the most expensive place you find, I'm going to kindly smack you in the face, with a pillow," I threaten.

"Oh wow, a pillow... How terrifying," he fakes.

Playfully, I smack his arm and giggle, pouring more. He laughs at me and takes a hand, patting my thigh.

"When you hit, it feels like a kitten is rubbing against you, and those are pretty soft," he teases.

"Are you calling me a kitten," I ask.

"No, I'm saying you hit like one. But if you want, I could call you kitten. The nickname suits you," he tells me.

My face heats up and I feel my ears burn. He chuckles and holds me closer to him.

"I only assume that means yes," he teases. "So now you're my little kitten?"

"No," I whine. "I'm you're living husband who just so happens to decently like being called kitten," I say, murmuring the last part.

"What was that kitten, I couldn't hear you."

"I-I said I like being called k-kitten," I say louder.

"Aw, that's adorable..."

"It is not," I whine.

"Is too."

"Is not."

"Is too."

"Is not.".

"Is too."

"Is not."

"Is too."

"Is too," I say accidently. "Fuck! I always lose when we do this," I whine.

"Uh huh, that's why it's so fun," Daniel says. "But you win sometimes."

I turn my body sideways and muzzle into his chest carefully. He holds me and I look up into his eyes.

"I love you Daniboy," I say softly.

"I love you too Ponyboy."

I know it's shorter than the others but I really wanted to update this story. Its been forever and I wanted to be productive for once.

So here is a short chapter from me. Just in case I don't update this again soon, Merry Christmas from me.
