"ALMOST forgot how beautiful Edda was." Ellisif murmured looking ahead of her and Viola. The two stared ahead of them at the beautiful and breathtaking view of the greenery and water below them. It truly was a sight that belonged on a post card. "Wouldn't be able to tell what actually lurks in it."
Viola glanced at the raven haired woman his doe eyes now darkened. It appeared she had remember something -- something personal.
Viola licked her lips before speaking up, "Like what?" She asked.
Ellisif plastered on a faux smile and looked at her, "The pollution of course. So much pollution in this town it makes you wonder what it would be like if you were to rid it all." She said with a nonchalant shrug and walked away from Viola.
She rose a brow at her sudden change in mood. Viola glanced behind her seeing Gry and Magne trailing else where, her brows furrowed.
"Magne!" She called out gaining their attention, "Where are you going?!"
"I'll be back!" He assured her, her confusion furthered.
"Viola, come on he'll be okay, he's a big boy." Ellisif said now from behind Viola who starred at his retreating figure. "They make a cute couple don't you think?" She asked as the raven haired girl looked up at her with raised brows. "What?"
ONCE settled in, the students sat around an on going campfire as others either remained in their tends or exploring around the area for photos and or curiosity.
Viola however stood off to the side observing the group ahead of her who played spin the bottle, she inwardly rolled her eyes as they all gossiped and spun around. She had to give it to them to find something to do, but out of everything they decided to do was spin the bottle? She looked down at her phone.
The hike was nice, but now being on the sam mountain her friend passed away on wasn't exactly something she had thought fully through.
"Magne, I pick you." Laurits called out.
Viola looked over seeing her other brother approaching the group in confusion.
"We're gonna ask you a question. And you have to answer honestly." Jenny explained to the blonde.
Seeing the mischievous look on her twin's face she glared at him.
"And I would like to know, uh, the truth about your feelings for Gry." Laurits questioned as all eyes were on Magne, some laughed and snickered.
Gry's cheeks tinted pink as she looked to Magne, "She's the prettiest and nicest person I know." He said honestly, she smiled at him.
"Aw!" Saxa awed, "Are you in love with her?" She asked abruptly.
Magne looked at the blonde and began nodding, Gry looked at him in embarrassment as some chuckled.
"I'm going in my tent." Viola said walking away.
"What about you Viola? What are your feelings for Fjor?" Laurits called out she turned around seeing the brunette approaching the group upon hearing his name.
She glanced at him and then to her brother, "He's annoying, just like you. You two would make a perfect pair." She said with a sarcastic smile before walking away and to her tent.
Ellisif snickered the Jutuls sparred her a glance as she sent a smirk their way. "I love childish banter, truly entertaining." She said placing her hand over her chest.
Fjor ignored her comment and followed after Viola, Ellisif's dark eyes watched carefully as he entered her tent. She glanced to Magne who walked away with Gry trailing behind.
"Can't you leave me alone?" Viola inquired as he crouched down in front of her.
"I just wanted to see you." He said simply.
Viola looked at him weirdly, "You saw me, now you can go."
Fjor smiled, "I thought we were friends? Friends don't push each other away." He said with a teasing smile.
"Friends don't hide things from each other either." She muttered. He tilted his head at her. "If you have nothing of importance to say then please leave casa del Viola, please."
Fjor looked down and took a seat on her cot next to her. "I saw you the other day." He said in a more serious tone, Viola rose a brow at him.
"Yeah, 'cause you're acting like a freaky stalker." She bit back.
Fjor smiled and shook his head before he continued, "I meant at school." She looked at him in confusion, "You heard what Saxa and I were saying to your brother, didn't you?" She looked down and shook her head.
"No, no, I didn't--" His eyes narrowed at her, she let out a sigh. "So what? You were being idiots and asking if he knew you guys which is a pretty lame joke--"
"You understood." He noted his eyes slightly widening a little.
Viola parted her lips, "No, I um . . . I google translated it when I got home." She shrugged as he starred at her unamused, "Fine, I understood, happy? And yes we know you. You are two annoying little rich brats that think they're better than everybody else because daddy practically owns the town." She said with a sarcastic smile.
Fjor looked to be in a daze she looked at him oddly before he took hold of her hand in his and dragged her out of the tent. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" She demanded.
"I need to talk to you."
Viola looked at him as if he had grown a second head as he dragged her alongside the mountain. "Did you black out back there or were we not just doing that?" She asked in utter confusion.
Fjor turned on his heel now facing mere inches away from her, Viola stumbled back at the sudden close proximity. "Not here." He said glancing behind her to where his sister sat and to his father.
She followed his gaze and frowned, why was he trying to get away from his family? She looked back up at him seeing his eyes already on her own.
"Do you trust me?" He asked.
She back to the campsite then to him, "Trust is earned not given." He nodded and began walking ahead of her.
๐๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ฎ๐ญ๐๐ฌ ๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐๐ซ . . .
"Absolutely not." Viola said with her arms over her chest starring at the helmet in his hands that he was handing over to her. "I don't trust you."
Fjor rolled he eyes, "I'm not going to kill us, I've don't this before." He assured her, "It's a tandem chute, I'll be steering the whole time. I won't let anything happen to you, Violet."
"And why should I trust you?" She challenged.
"Because if I wanted you dead, I'd have thrown you off the mountain already." He said simply, a ghost of a smirk on his lips.
She bit her lip and looked away. Her doe eyes met his own, "Fine." She reached out and grabbed the helmet from his hand.
VIOLA removed her coat and placed it on Fjor's bed. She looked around his room she took in everything, it was relatively dark, it looked much different than she imagined it. If she had ever imagined it, she shook her head subsiding her thoughts on Fjor Jutul's bedroom.
"Can I get you anything to drink?" He asked from behind her.
"Water." She answered shortly as he nodded exiting his bedroom.
She wandered around his room and eyed the desk in the centre, she rose a brow at the drawings before her. "Wow." She whispered seeing various types of sketches, many of the mountains.
He had never mentioned he was invested in art. Then again they never really got to the topic, she thought to herself. There always seemed something to stop the two from getting to know one another, where as now; she was in his bedroom.
It was the perfect time to get answers, she thought to herself.
She looked through the numerous sketches and paintings, her brows furrowed as one caught her eyes in particular, it was of her. Only she didn't have her dark hair, it was white.
She gnawed on her lip and placed it back on his desk. Her eyes trailed off to an old tattered journal, her brows furrowed as she grabbed it. She peered out the door from where she stood not seeing Fjor, she flipped it open.
Her head tilted as she flipped through it, reading the words carefully. Who knew Fjor Jutul had so much emotion when he wrote? She thought.
It looked vaguely similar to the journal Fjor had given her about one of the giants weeks ago, she noted. Only this was Fjor's . . . Judging by the dates in the corner he had written the chapters as of this year. It had to be his.
She read the closing sentence to one of his entries.
"F A J . . ." She murmured with furrowed brows, "Fjor Jutul . . ." She hadn't a clue what the A meant.
She placed it down on his desk slowly, her eyes falling on the large bookshelf next to her. She walked to the book shelf as many journals that sat upon the dusty shelves looked relatively similar to the one on the desk. Were they all his? It couldn't be, there was at least over fifty of them. She thought to herself as she grabbed another.
Her brows rose as it was signed by . . . Aurgelmir. She looked back to the desk she had placed the other journal down.
Having a mini inner battle with herself she grabbed the book that laid on the desk and scanned through the pages as she looked between both diaries.
The scripture was identical, the same format, it was a mirror image of each other.
Her heart beat began to beat faster by the second, as numerous thoughts plagued her mind.
She looked to Fjor's bedroom door still not seeing any sign of the brunette, she walked back to the shelf and continued to scan through the books. One by one she read.

She read and read until books were sprawled out on the table.
She hadn't noticed the silhouette standing in the door way watching as she flipped through the diaries.
Hearing the floor boards creak she froze and dropped the journal on the oak desk, she looked up slowly seeing his reflection in the floor length mirror. She swallowed a lump in her throat as her eyes met his own.
Silence fell on the two. Either one awaiting for the other to speak or move.
Fjor waited for her to run, though he knew she wasn't stupid. He blocked the door way, and they were three stories high. She wouldn't jump out the window, so she remained still.
Viola stared at him, part of her knew he wouldn't hurt her. Whereas the other wasn't so sure. She wasn't entirely sure on which side to trust at the moment in time. She had invaded his privacy and now she was left with one thing on her mind.
"Who are you?" She asked shakily.
