Hawk's POV~

It was late again. . .
I went. . . Nearly 48 hours without a wink of sleep. . .

Once I got in the assigned room we had, for what was supposed to be a teaching experience, I took off my coat at last. . .

As I did, I threw it over a chair and sat down on the bed. . .
I wondered if I would even be able to sleep from all this, but. . . My brain felt like it was going to shut down. . .
So, I say down and just closed my eyes. . .

I woke up with a start.
I look around and remembered I wasn't there.  .  . I was in UA.
I sat up and saw Best Jeanist asleep, I got up and quietly left the room. . .

I walked down the hall, to get some water, I felt like my brain hasn't recharged yet. . .

I suddenly hear sniffling, I stop. . .

"Hello?"

I look round the corner and see. . .

"Eri?"

She had tears running down her face, she looked at me,"M-Mister Hawks. . .?", I knelt down,"Hey, kid. . . Are you OK?", she looked at me with sad eyes,"I-I miss Mr Deku. . .!", I kneeled down on the floor,"Oh, Eri. . .", she then faced me more,"A-And I had a nightmare! T-That Overhaul k-killed him a-a-and is now coming back. . .!!", she then started to sob, I held her close,"Hey. . . Hey, I can promise you, Overhaul isn't going to hurt you or Izuku anymore and I promise that we will get him back. . .", Eri looked up at me,"Mister Hawks. . .", I look at her,"Yeah, Eri?", she looked at me,"Mister Deku told me, when kids made fun of me for what happen, he said that everyone had their own monsters. . .", I smiled,"That is amazing advice.", she then looked down and then back at me. . .

"Did your monsters do that to you. . .?"

Shit. I forget about my coat, gloves and eye. I sighed and picked up Eri,"Yes. . . Can you do me a favour and keep this a secret?", she titled her head,"Why?", I smiled,"Because, I don't want to worry anyone. Please?", she nods,"OK. . .", I sigh with relief. . .

"It's 4am."

I turn to see Dabi, also looking like shit, Eri waved,"Hi, Dabi!", he waved,"Sorry, she had a nightmare.", he oohed,"You should probably get her to bed then.", I nod,"Will do.", "Wait, Dabi, can you come with??", Dabi rubbed his eyes and then shrugged,"Sure, why not. Unless Bird Brain here wants me gone.", I sighed,"If Eri wants you come, then join.", he nods and with that we both walked to to Eri's room in UA. . .

Once in her room, I tucked her back into bed, she kept looking at my arms and Dabi was just in his mind I think, he just seemed out of it. . .

Eri then looked at Dabi,"Dabi can do the thing??", Dabi seemed to have snapped out of it,"Huh?", I was interested in this,"Thing?", Dabi rubbed his eyes,"Sure.", with that he knelt down and opened the palms of his hands. . .

Dabi then proceed to use his flames to create a pegasus!

"Yay!!", he made it run around the room and fly, this was interesting. . . I never knew someone like Dabi would he good with kids. He. . . Definitely reminded me of someone but. . .
The thought of him, it hurt me. . .

Soon, Eri feel back asleep. . .

As me and Dabi walked down the hall, I turn to Dabi,"How the hell are you so good with kids?", he shrugged,"I use to surrounded by kids 24/7 and basically babysat kids.", I blink at him,"Woah. I didn't expect that.", Dabi smirked,"Nobody does.", I sighed,"You uh, should probably go back to bed.", I nod,"Yeah. Um. I'll see in the morning?", Dabi nods and with that he went back into a room. . .

I walk back to my room with some water, still feeling like shit. But, I felt sick to my stomach. . .
Was it a bad feeling. . .?
. . .

I don't know anymore. . .
